French Quarter Bistro

Everything was great. We talked with an owner. He was very nice. Our server was so sweet. The food was AMAZING! The portions are large, and I couldn't finish my meal. The catfish and okra were great. They possibly have the best hushpuppy I've ever had in my life. I had a daiquiri. It was delicious and huge. I couldn't finish that either. The dessert looked great. We'll have to come back to try that!

I happened about their advertisement in the mail last night. One thing I missed in San Diego was Cajun food so I made it a point to think about going here the next day. I was not disappointed, in fact my expectations were exceeded. The inside is extremely clean, very modern with a very hip and fun bar area, plenty of TVs to view with something of interest on (sports, comedy). I tried their crawfish etouffee, it had plenty of spice and I was very pleased, the helping was more than enough, I felt full in no time. I also wanted to try their cornbread and I was not disappointed. They made it in muffin form and glazed it with some sort of honey glaze that made it extra special delicious, it felt like a dessert. They have a number of Daiquiris including pina colada and a number of very fun cocktails that make you feel like you were on the beach. I highly recommend this place is it exceeded my every expectation, the waitress was extremely friendly and personable. I had a good time.

The food was 5 ⭐ everything just tasted so good. The gumbo could have been a bit more hot temperature wise. The catfish was best fried, also had it blacked but not my fave - the fries were so good! The okra was very well seasoned. We finished off with the sweet cornbread as dessert so good. 😊

This place did NOT disappoint! I ordered the creamy Cajun pasta with fried catfish & a cornbread and it was spectacularly delish! Staff is super nice also I loved having my lunch here. Definitely recommend

My first time here and This place was on 💯 @9pm they close @11pm and customers were still coming in waiting to seat and order the service was great wait time for food even though it was crowded was still good probably bout 20 mins but the food was fresh n hot I ordered to go but the aroma of the food in the car had me speeding home everything I had was good and that homemade tartar sauce was 🔥🔥🔥 that fish 🤤I didn’t need the sauce but I ate together anyway cause I love a good tartar sauce…. Note they only take card no cash I WILL BE BACK 🫡🫡💜💜

LOVED the waitress Cookie. LOVED the food & atmosphere! Wasn’t too loud so we could hold conversations easily. Got the pasta, gumbo, fried catfish, fried green tomatoes, red beans, and Brussels! LOVED every bite. Will definitely be coming back frequently!!!

Listen to me when I say RUN don't walk to this place!
My first time ever going here, and I wish I could express to everyone reading this how amazing this place is.
From the minute I walked in I was greeted by Jordan (had to ask names for this review) who was attentive, friendly, and if I owned a business she would be the first person I would try to snag.

I ordered the Cajun smothered rice with blackened catfish.
Probably the best thing I've ever eaten. Absolutely homemade, fresh, and delicious beyond words.
It was either that or the blackened chicken, but opted to go for the catfish and I was so glad I did.

I also ordered the deep fried okra. I was not expecting the Cajun seasoning that was on them, but it was even better than any fried okra I've ever had.

I don't live far, and I guarantee you this will be a weekly stop for me on my travels. As I was sitting there employees kept showing up for work, and every one of them came up to say hello and thanked me for being there which made me feel like family even though they didn't know me from Adam.
One of the owners showed up, and even before he took his jacket off he asked me if there was anything I needed. I asked for a sweet tea to-go. He said absolutely and had it in front of me within 20 seconds.

I'm telling you, I don't know how busy or not busy this place gets because it was my first time here, but there should literally be a line around the building for people to get into this place.

They have 5 or 6 TVs on the walls, they have maybe 8 to 10 different daiquiri flavored machines. I tried the banana cream and oh my God it was good.

Please do yourself a favor and go try this place.

The only thing I would recommend based on my sit down experience, is if you're going to get takeout, give yourself some time to have it made, because everything is made fresh.

This isn't one of those places that you're going to order and 5 seconds later have your food on the counter ready to go.

I'd give yourself a good 10 or 15 minutes to have it prepared properly.

Jordan recommended that I try the fried ribs next time I go, so I think I'm going to give that a shot, and maybe some mac and cheese with some andouille sausage.

I can't believe I waited so long to try this place! The food was fire and seasoning was on point. The food proportions was nice, I couldn't finish mine. Staff and owner was very friendly, my daughter and I would definitely return. They do need a kids menu, other than that great place!

Absolutely perfect. I went back two days in a row and had an amazing experience both times. Dining in was quick and the prices are perfect for the quality and portions you get. Same thing for takeout! Sioux chef Dylan makes crazy good food and I highly recommend this place as a regular visit.

I got out of the car saying "if we walk in and don't like it we can leave." I walked in and didn't want to leave. EVERYTHING was great. I loved the atmosphere. I was able to watch the Eagles get beat. I ordered the Shrimp basket. I was well seasoned and the drinks were great. I love that it is close to home and I will go back again and again. I can't wait to try something else next time because I know it will be good. They were busy and still managed to have good customer service. They treated everyone as if they knew them personally.

Yes. Believe me when I tell you 5 STARS! Every dish that we ordered was cooked to PERFECTION! The Customer Service is IMPRESSIVE! The Daquiries are Delish! A Friend of the Family (Daniel G.) recommended this restaurant.

This is our second time ordering take-out. Our food is always hot and fresh. We've tried a lot items off the menu. We've had pasta, rice, okra, fries, wings, fried ribs, fish and shrimp, smothered fries, shrimp po'boy, desserts, the creamy goodness, the hush puppies, and much more. Food is delicious The drinks are strong and delicious. It's not really big but cozy. Staff was friendly. This place is worth a try.

Such a neat place with awesome food and even better staff. We stopped in as we passed through town and were so impressed. They had a huge group in and the staff went above and beyond to provide excellent service for our group of 5. Stellar food! Great booze! Amazing staff!

Been here multiple times and it’s been consistent every time. Today I felt compelled to just leave them a good review mainly because the wait staff was great. I liked that everyone on the floor serving was attentive. I also was sitting by the cash register and took note of the gentleman making sure the customer had everything they needed.
Service is great, food is hot and fresh, and the atmosphere is nice and relaxing.

I have visited French Quarter Bistro a few times and the service is very top notch. The owners take time to explain the different menu choices. The food is made.from scratch which is a huge plus. I've gotten swamp fries with extra sausage and crawfish on top and was delicious. On my most recent visit I came in and got the oyster po boy and a side of fried ribs. Both were exceptional, but the fried ribs are my new favorite. A buddy of mine for the combo meal of large chicken wings and fried ribs. I'm excited to go back and try other foods as well.

Omg.... Went on a Saturday. Had the creamy pasta with chicken, shrimp and crawfish. Staff was super nice. Drinks were awesome... Also went on a Friday night. Amazing time. Same dish... Karaoke night. Sang and had a good time. Will definitely recommend this place. Definitely going back for karaoke

I came in here to finally give it a shot but I was craving wings that day and to my surprise they had wings. No sauce on the wings but that didn’t matter! Just a good, juicy, flavorful and super crunchy. I also tried her gumbo, and it was spot on to how you would expect it to bed down on the bayou. The owner was super friendly and you can tell she puts so much effort into her food. If you like Cajun/southern cooking, get in here and try this place.

Excellent food! The catfish and pasta plates with crawfish, chicken and shrimp were AMAZING! Not to mention, go get the "Tropical Storm". Hurricane & Mango mix! AMAZING! Brea and the cooks really out did themselves with the food! 10/10 - 5 🌟 out of 5 🌟

Welcomed as we entered, owner was seated, very nice young lady! She gave great suggestions for first visit! Cajun smothered rice and you add your own protein! It was amazing!!!
