My husband and I go to Home Depot often. Whenever we have to do minor repairs, in our home, we know that we can always get what we need from Home Depot. This hardware store carries a large variety of items and at reasonable prices.

I'm from out town and I found this store's layout to be well organized things were easy to find I didn't need help finding what I was looking for. Plus there prices are lower than the home depot in my town. The manager and staff in this store have this store running very well!!

Came in to pick up an online order, busy as usual and this very nice lady, Tren, in customer service greeted people as they came in and let them know where they needed to be in line for the fastest service. Tren's customer service skills and great attitude really shows how much she cares about her job. I really appreciated that because most other store employees just want to say "next" and barely even look at you. You know what I mean. What an asset and good example of good customer service. Thank you.

This Home Depot gives hugs! Takes me back down memory lane of why I love Home Depot. Coming here for 35 years with my Dad in construction. I took notice at 5 years old that the founder of Home Depot was different. He gave to his employees, he gave to customers and the community. His love was seen before I knew who Arthur Blank was and it’s so nice to see his sincere love for others still living on during a time needed even when Arthur no longer owns it. His spirit still lives on at this store! It was so refreshing because I don’t feel Home Depot has been the same since Arthur sold his shares in HD and many can learn from that man. He is one of the greatest to live and what has kept me a daily customer for so long.

One of if not the best customer experiences ever from Home Depot today!
Young man named Jeremiah. He was very busy but stopped what he was doing to help us and made 100% sure we got exactly what we were looking for and needed! We stuck around for about ten minutes waiting for a manager to make sure they new what a great experience we had with him. We should all make sure the employers hear the good and the bad experiences!

My wife and I bought a new washer and electric dryer on February 11th. Since they don't carry these appliances in stock anymore, we had to special order the set. It was scheduled for delivery on February 17th. This time was after I had to go out of town for about 2.5 weeks for work and I had made Ellen in appliances aware of that. After we placed the order, Ellen instructed my wife to check for dents and scratches. Ellen didn't mention anything else for her to check. Ellen also failed to mention the 48 hour return policy. When the washer and dryer arrived, my wife inspected the set for dents and scratches (and nothing more) as Ellen instructed. She didn't see any dents or scratches, so she accepted the appliances. Not knowing anything about washer and dryer installations, my wife didn't notice the mistake Ellen had made when ordering our washer and dryer at the store. During the order process I had even told Ellen that we needed a washer and electric dryer. Ellen asked if we wanted free installation, and I said yes. I told her that the electric cord would have to be moved to the new dryer, but I was then told we would be required to buy a new cord and dryer vent to qualify for the free installation. I then declined the free installation since it wasn't actually free. I arrived back home on March 5th from work. When I went to install the dryer, I discovered that Ellen had ordered us a gas dryer. Needless to say, I was shocked and admittedly angry about this. I called the morning of March 6th to the 800 number on the receipt and was directed to the store because they were unable to help me. I then called the store and ultimately talked to Jerry. He initially told me he couldn't help me because it was out of their 48 hour return window and my best bet would be to call Maytag directly. Maytag couldn't help me and was a complete waste of my time. I called Jerry back and he then told me that he would talk to the special orders manager. I told him that despite missing the 48 hour window for reasons beyond my control, I felt that they should still honor the return since ultimately this was caused by the mistake of Ellen. I received a call the next day and was told Jerry would call me back on the 8th. Jerry called me and said he was still working on it but it wasn't looking very good for me. Eight more days passed without hearing from anyone. I called on multiple occasions and was told the people I needed to talk to were off work. I called March 15th and finally talked to Jerry. He told me he was still working on it but hadn't had any luck. I reiterated the fact that this should be their responsibility and Home Depot should honor the return since it was their employee that made the mistake in the first place. Needless to say, my wife and I am livid about this whole situation. What am I supposed to do with a gas dryer? Am I supposed to just eat the cost of this gas dryer and try to sell it for a loss because of a mistake made by their employee? My home is all electric. There are no gas lines ran anywhere to my home. Jerry has been nice and apologetic about the situation and I do appreciate that but there is still no resolution for this problem. It's not like my wife and I are just wanting a refund. We just want the correct dryer, an electric dryer, that matches the washer. I have kept the gas dryer in pristine condition ready to be exchanged. Up until this, my wife and I had always been satisfied with Home Depot and have made many purchases through the years. If this doesn't get resolved, they will lose us permanently as customers.
Update: After I filed a formal complaint with the BBB, Bre at the corporate office reached out to me and the Terrell store and we were able to return the dryer for a full refund. James called me yesterday and we were able to return the dryer for a full refund and we were able to order the correct dryer. We are very happy with the outcome.

This store, by far, has the best customer service. We have shopped here several times, with the first major purchase taking a good amount of time as the mower had to be pulled from receiving. Lisa in lawn and garden was a joy to spend time with; she is extremely knowledgeable and funny. Larry the manager and Chris at the return desk both went out of their way to help us as well on separate occasions.

It wasn't too busy, I was able to get in and out with no problem. While I was on the plumbing aisle an employee walking by provided wonderful customer service! He asked if I needed anything (even though I didnt) while going to do something else.

Home Depot is a great home improvement store with good selections. Self checkout has been updated by automating military/veteran discounts once registered and get verified online. the manual option is still available as well. Registers are great because the scanner is cordless with large monitors and clear item descriptions. The only thing I haven't figured out is why an item was available in the store but not found online. I'm sure there's a logical explanation and it doesn't dampen my shopping experience because professional support is availabe. Online shopping is a great convenience. Shipping services are 5 star!

I want to say Kenny in plumbing was very helpful. He not only took the time to help me find the right faucets for my bathroom sink, he also gave us a few tips and pointers when it came to replacing them. A big thank you to you sir Kenny in plumbing!!!
