Kroger Marketplace

I was in then Forney location yesterday. I had a coupon offering $50 if i transferred a prescription over to Kroger pharmacy. I had the pleasure of Demetra taking care of me. The coupon gave her a lot of issues and even though I could tell that she was getting frustrated by the situation, she still continued to work professionally and diligently, with a smile on her face. After about 10-15 minutes she was able to get it situated and when I shopped later, the $50 came right off my bill. Thank you so much Demetra and Kroger.

I love this store! It’s like the Kroger version of a supercenter Walmart. It’s always clean and organized when I come. Staff is always friendly and there’s sooooo many things to choose from. I’ve tried their sushi which is pretty good, along with their deli area which I use to come and get some chicken on lunch! Definitely would recommend coming here over Walmart which is next door! -Wheezy

I had no cluea Kroger like this existed. They sale clothes here. It's like a Super Kroger. A beautiful store all the way around. Their fresh produce are some of the best I have ever seen in a Kroger. They have plenty of lines open and both of my visits I was in and out with exactly what I needed. Great selection of seafood and it does not smell like Seafood unlike most Kroger I've been in. Since I've been in Heath, this has been my store of choice, although Super Walmart is right across the street.

Love Kroger wished there was one close to us in East TX

This is a newer Super Kroger. Expanded groceries and retail section. Found everything I was looking for. Large beer and wine selection. Large frozen food area, lots of brands I don't normally see. Very clean. Courteous staff.

I shop here often. Good selection

League of Brian's approved. This Kroger is number 1 place to buy groceries. If your name is Brian you probably shop here already. If not come and enjoy what Brian's in the know have known for years. Great prices and atmosphere for everyone!

I found a wonderful little freezer this morning which contained gluten free, fat free, and sugar free choices. I cannot tell you how delighted I am to be able to get a sugar-free apple, or cherry pie, and angel food cake! Thank you for catering to those who can’t have the sugar!

This will be one of the top if not, BEST REVIEWS I will have even written! Shoutout to NATE TAYLOR and the amazing two coworkers working the produce section! My brother Joshua De Anda worked the produce section with these amazing gentlemen the last few months of his life. The day of my brother's Celebration of Life, these three men came in support of my brother and also brought some yummy food! ❤ Later that day I went back to Kroger for a couple of things and come to find out Nate Taylor went into to work that same day. I couldn't believe he wasn't approved the day off. NATE TAYLOR, you and the two amazing gentleman that cared for my bro will forever be ANGELS in our hearts and lives!! Your blessings in life have tripled!! I pray God protects you 3! Thank you for being such an awesome employee and friend to my brother!! Go Produce section!!!

I won't shop anywhere else. They just finished a nice remodel. They have many self-check out lines. Good wine selection. Fresh produce.
I've never waited in line to check out. They'll open up a register to alleviate waiting!

Always very nice and helpful

This Kroger blew my mind upon walking in. The store is incredibly clean, well lit, and has tons of options for groceries or just general foods.

The bakery selection is great and delicious, the sushi was awesome, the premade meals were great.... I think you get my point. Oh and the beer selection is unreal.

I am so happy to have this store close to home.

Now if you are looking for non-cow dairy cheese,they have a great selection of goat and sheep cheeses!
Big emphasis on the Sheep Cheeses!!! As they are so hard to find.
I have found great imported cheeses that are hard to find, as well as normal cheeses.
Such as,Roquefort Cheese.

They have a great selection and variety of non-dairy items.

Love their fresh always fresh vegetables and fruits.

I have used the bakery a few times for cake orders and they did beautiful jobs!

The floral and balloon services are great! Always beautiful fresh flowers!
Balloon orders can be placed in advanced for pick up. Great for party planning.

Gluten free items are plentiful for those who cannot have wheat/gluten products.

Best meat quality!
I love the variety of various types and cuts of meat that is available.
You can't find bison and lamb just anywhere.

As of right now,I do believe that masks are required in store for in store shopping.

I enjoy using the grocery pick up option available through the web or app.

I love my Kroger. It is clean, they have great selection and things you cannot find elsewhere. (At least without a good drive). They have a great little sushi bar, starbucks, a salad and olive bar, tons of good cheese, the deli is awesome, and the bakery is better!!

I give this Kroger 5-Stars however upon reading some reviews on here apparently there are a lot of people that drive from mesquite just to shop here. I moved from Dallas in the beginning of the pandemic & bought a house here in Forney to get more of the small town rural experience if you will, I don’t like stores to be overpopulated from people that live in mesquite or other cities, they can shop they’re stores . Please build them a Marketplace Kroger so they can stay away . They then have the nerve to nit pick & want to complain, like if they don’t like something about this store please do everyone a favor & stop shopping here .

I love Kroger’s you can always find fresh produce, poultry, seafood, wide selection of fine wines, household items, clothing just whatever you’re wanting to purchase. Starbucks is located inside the store, and a fine jewelry store as well. The store is always clean and inviting, and the Customer Service is Great!

The greatest experience I have ever had at any grocery store. The store is amazing in itself, and the people there are so kind and friendly. The fruit and vegetables are fresh about 95% of the time and the organization of isles is so convenient. Great job Kroger

I'm just visiting friends here in Forney for an extended stay, but I've been to this Kroger several times in the past week and have found it to be one of the nicest grocery stores in which I've ever shopped. A couple of experiences within the store really stand out.

1). My wife, one of my kids, and I were perusing the clothing section (never been in a Kroger with a clothing section before) and an employee came up to us and let us know that the current week's flyer had a 15% off coupon for all clothing purchases. We hadn't known about that but we appreciated the heads-up. She even handed us the coupon.

2). On that visit I decided to purchase a belt. As we were leaving the checkout area, my wife noticed the belt was sticking out of the plastic bag, so she pushed it back into the bag. When we got home, the belt was not in any of our bags (we had purchased a number of clothing as well as food items). Apparently, the belt popped out of the bag between that point and our car but none of us noticed it. It was a few hours later when I realized the belt wasn't in our bags or our vehicle or anywhere else. So, I called the store and the customer service employee offered for me to return to the store and pick out another belt. I felt this was probably too much to ask of them since it was not their responsibility to replace a belt that we had negligently lost after the purchase. So, I declined. Nonetheless, a few days later, we were back in the store and before checking out, I decided to inquire at the customer service desk to see if perhaps the belt had been picked up and turned in. No, but she said if the belt still had its tags on it, the belt would have been returned to the clothing rack. So, she looked at my receipt and invited me to just go back and pick out the belt again which I did. So, I'm not out of a belt that I had purchased even though it really wasn't their fault. I appreciate this.

3). While I was dealing with this belt, my wife was checking out for the new food purchases and she ended up having to wait about 5 minutes while I got this sorted out. As she waited there, near the store entrance, at least two employees asked her if she needed help with something. Again, this is the kind of service that you don't see much these days in most stores, but we were both impressed with this.

4). Got some really good deals in their clearance section. If you don't know where this section is, please don't look for it. I hope to find more good stuff while we're here! ;)

I don't normally write many reviews, and I didn't like the fact that Google insists on revealing our real identity just to leave a review like this. I don't mind being truthful about myself, but I am not comfortable with having my real identity made easily available to the whole world given how rampant ID theft is these days, especially through the Internet. Nonetheless, I still wanted to be able to take the time to give this positive review b/c so many people at this Kroger store seem to be working hard to make their store a good one and I do appreciate that. While we're visiting our friends here, we'll be back to this Kroger for our grocery needs.
