If you love new and/or old school vinyl this place is amazing! Reminds me of when I was younger & would visit Peaches Records & Tapes! When visiting Dallas you must stop in and be prepared to travel with multiple records in your Carry-on luggage!! You won’t be disappointed!

Very nice selection of vinyl, dvds, cds, books, stickers, posters, and more. We'll organized by genre, price, condition, etc. Friendly and helpful staff, decent prices, loads to browse and lots of new stuff coming in regularly.

Great hidden find! Definitely a great place to check out… you will never know what you will find. Josey’s has used and new vinyls, to include cds, cassettes, clothes, and books. The vinyls are from all decades and genres. The prices are great, ranging from as low as $2 to $100+. What makes the store even better is that you can listen to the open/used vinyl records on their vinyl players before buying.

Just a fantastic record store experience! Friendly, helpful staff if you need help, but they leave you alone unless you ask. I like how they have almost everything organized. It's very intuitive. I spent 5 hours there over the course of two days, and I haven't even scratched the surface! The Rap/Hip-Hop and 12" singles section, alone, is something to behold.

Brought my 88 year old grandpa to listen to some records. He hasn’t been “all there” in a few years, so I took him to the Classical music section in the back to see if he might have any interest. He had received sad news that morning that he was the last surviving sibling, so I also thought a visit might also cheer him up. To my surprise, they had a phenomenal collection from his childhood and early adulthood that brought out a conversationalist I haven’t seen in years!!! I wheeled him over to the listening section, and he loved getting to relive old memories of listening to these albums on the radio with his family. I bought a few records of artists I never would have known were his favorites if I hadn’t come. I will say, I wish the Classical section was easier to access. Wheeling him through the store on a busy Saturday going back and forth around tight corners to get to the listening area was a bit of a challenge, so he didn’t want to get up and try walking around. Nonetheless he’s excited to go back! It’s been 10 years since he wanted to go somewhere unfamiliar (he’s very stubborn), so finding a new place that he’s excited to visit has been extremely refreshing and stimulating for my Nonno. Thank you Josey Records for a great afternoon and sweet new memory together.

Never been here before but NF was signing autographs there and so it was a super long line so whole in line I was able to check out the whole store. Ended buying CD's that I no longer had that I once had many years ago. Was excited cuz it was only a dollar. The signing of the autograph was very well structured and went fast in a timely manner with order. Wonderful experience all together. Plan to go back. I Highly Recommended!

Cool place with tons of used (and new) records, books, CD's and DVD's. I bought 4 books for less than $20 and my husband snagged some vinyl. Great customer service too!

This was my first time in this place, and it is massive! I went with my friend and had no idea that the record industry was booming. I was pleasantly surprised and definitely looking forward to starting my own collection. They have everything you can think of plus a stage with equipment, mystery boxes, vintage clothing, and other items to add to the eclectic style of the location

This store is a must visit for music enthusiasts! From cassette tapes to CDs to records and beyond, this is a treasure chest of greatness! Only warning, come with time to meander! So many great things to see and explore!

What a great place. Theu have turntables from the 80', 33's, 35's, and.even 78's in their massive record collections.

Biggest record store! They get really busy in weekends and have really good records in stock. The staff is friendly and helpful. I’ve bought and sold records with no issues.

The staff is amazing! Everyone is helpful and kind. The selection is incredible. So many records! They also have CDs, cassettes, VHS, posters, shirts, memorabilia, etc. This is a great place to lose yourself for a couple of hours during the day.

Really cool record shop! Easy to lost in there and have a very good collection. Cool atmosphere and they play some really cool music in there too.

Josey Records is a vinyl lover's dream! I particularly enjoyed the "collectible" section. The only complaint is that it can be overwhelming to know where to start. The store almost needs a map. There is a GREAT selection of new vinyl, and I found some good ones. There is also a huge selection of $1-2 records and 45's etc. There is so much in this store. Plan to spend at least an hour on your first visit. We went as a group and everyone found something to look at. There is also a reward program that's not really advertised that ties to your phone number. Their website is AWESOME and I love getting records here. Can't wait to see Josey again soon!

Absolutely a great place to find hidden gems. I was there for probably 20 minutes searching through their expansive collection of records when I found something great! I found an original motion picture soundtrack for Star Wars! It was in pristine condition for $4.00! When I got home, I was looking it over to make sure the record itself was okay when a poster fell out of the sleeve! Again, it was an original print from 1977. Absolutely amazing! 10/10, will return.

Awesome record shop! Much larger than I expected it to be, wide aisles, amazing selection, friendly service, clean and the minimal design is spot on. Had the opportunity to check out Black Pumas acoustic set this past Saturday and seriously had the best experience ever! Must check out if in town or if you're local and just haven't made it in.

This store is huge, a vinyl lover's dream. The used records are priced decently and the selection is bigger than any other store I've been to. I try to visit every time I'm in the DFW area.
