WEST LAKE MAIL

I love this place. Shipping and mailing is somehow a painful process everywhere except here. They are nice, helpful, and don’t nickel and dime you. A true neighborhood business and Westlake is lucky to have it.

My experience at West Lake Mail was very positive. The manager (Brett) was friendly as could be. He helped take the stress out of sending a very important package and explained the process as he went. Thank you for that and for getting my package sent safely.

A box holder for over 10 years. A WLH local secret. Consistently excellent service, charming and efficient staff. From receiving mail, sending packages or a fax, a quick card for a thank you or birthday, it’s always pleasant. Once in awhile, I have been fortunate to share a reciprocal conversation about anything and everything w/B. 😀This is so important, especially now, to cherish our community and be afforded that honest and true human connection with a staff that cares, listens and understands how important you are as a customer, your mail and packages.

West Lake Mail exemplifies all the best of a local business with a small town feel in a big city. Joe Gage and his staff at WLM provide excellent customer service with personal attention so often lacking in today's busy world. WLM supports the local community, not only with their business but also giving back by volunteering their time to organizations such as Mobile Loaves and Fishes...and -- they love dogs!! Great place, thanks WLM!

Hey Westlake, this is a small business with super-cool people working in there. They are a million times better then the heartless corporate or federal stonefaces. I use them for business and personal needs. Highly recommend this place.

Great PO Box Center

My daughter-in-law took a package to this establishment and asked that the item be sent to her daughter. Instead of scrolling down to her address, the clerk obviously went to the top address in the list which happened to be me. This is the second time this has happened.
This time I tried calling the phone number on their website - no one answered and I left a voice mail 2 days ago - I have not heard anything. I tried calling later - again went to voicemail, but this time it said mail box was full. I sent a message through the "contact us" on the website - also 2 days ago - have not heard anything!
I am now out the postage to mail it to my granddaughter.

NEXT DAY

I received a phone call from the manager apologizing for the issue - he hit the nail on the head when he said one of the worst things was them not getting back to me. He tried to explain what happened, but I didn't understand - I would suggest that whatever the issue is to get it corrected ASAP.

I am upping my rating from 1 to 3 because he did respond, but a couple of days late, hence the 3.

Not the best look for a potential new customer when the store opens a half our late and the manager is barefoot. I went there to rent a mailbox, but will look elsewhere.
