Big Bad Breakfast-Florence

Early breakfast on a Monday morning. My wife had the French toast and excellent. Definitely recommend. I had the big bad breakfast skillet with a biscuit and gravy. Skillet was very good and the biscuit and gravy was amazing. Service was friendly, warm, and prompt. Only downside is they did not have regular black tea (like English breakfast tea). But I doubt many will care. You will need to bring some change for parking as all the spots in this area require it (or just risk it). Expect to pay at least $20 per person here.

Very fresh morning breakfast!! The biscuit was phenomenal and probably weighed 1.5 lbs. 🤓 Fresh jelly and good coffee. Angela was lovely!!!

Like the way they seating is set up. Had the gravy and biskets. It was grate. Wife had the French toast.

Wow! Amazing skillets and breakfast for everyone’s tastes. Also that peach jam is with getting a jar to take home. Clean bathrooms with changing tables made this mom happy.

Comfy atmosphere, welcoming staff and delicious food. This is going on the favorites list!

2nd time eating here this week. Had to bring other friends with us. Let's break down the 3 components that make this an amazing spot to eat.

1) The Atmosphere. As soon as you walk in, you're in that hometown breakfast diner feeling. From the hanging lights above the bar to the decor on the walls, everything is fun and relaxing.

2)The Staff. Warm and welcoming the moment you walk in. And it doesn't stop there. As I said, it's our 2nd, and both times, our waiter/waitress was amazing. First vist had a party of 8, and today was a party of 16, and they handled us amazingly. Very patient and friendly with us and kept up a smile and great spirits the whole time. Even had who I'm assuming was the manager come up and check on us all, and she was just as nice and friendly as everyone else.

3) The Food. OH. MY. GOODNESS! The food was so amazing! I've gotten the chicken and waffles both times, and each time, it's the best I've ever had anywhere! The chicken is seasoned to perfection. The combo of sweet and savory is unmatched. The spicy bacon has just the right amount of kick to give it great flavor without it overpowering the bacon. The hash cakes were nice and crisp and tender inside. The fluffy biscuits and sausage gravy tasted so good. And thr chicken sausage will blow your mind! The coffee has chicory in it which, being from New Orleans, was perfect and tasted like home. And the fresh squeezed made to order orange juice is worth it.

All in all, if you're ever able to make a morning stop here for breakfast, DO IT! You will not be let down!

We got to downtown Florence too early to eat at Rosie's or Ricatoni's. Saw the sign for Big Bad Breakfast and decided to give it a try. Great atmosphere and service. The food was really good. David had the Big Bad Breakfast Plate and I had a Waffle with a side of Bacon. The Homemade Peach Jelly was so good! Coffee was good too. Will definitely eat here again! I will say it was a bit of a splurge for us but absolutely delicious.

One of the best breakfast places in the town . I love this place . The ambiance is amazing and the food is really good . The staff is nice . They have fresh squeezed orange juice , not the bottled ones which is nice . I really liked their avocado toast , if you are getting fruit make sire to check sometimes they are not fresh . The prices are okay . Cool place to hang out and have breakfast and lunch .

A big shout out to BBB!! Our family of 7 had breakfast Thursday morning . Everybody had a different item on the menu and enjoyed every bite . I had the bourbon spiked French Toast with spicy bacon . It was absolutely delicious ! We WILL definitely be back .

Yes it's new so it has a wait time that is unsuitable for some. As for me I have all the time in the world to try great food. Totally worth the wait too. I ordered the Hangtown Style scramble and that was so good. My wife ordered the Redneck Benny and that too was delicious. Can't wait to go back everyone should try this place.

This was the second time I have gotten to eat at Big Bad Breakfast, and I was pleased again. The Big Bad Breakfast Skillet was phenomenal and the biscuits were amazing. Their homemade jams were scrumptious (and for sale!), complimenting the aforementioned biscuits perfectly. Our server was lovely and very courteous, keeping great track of our progress. I was very happy with everything they had to offer and look forward to returning sometime in the future.

GREAT breakfast! We went on a Saturday morning and were seated immediately. In addition to my breakfast, I also enjoyed the cold brew. Prices were fair and service was awesome/attentive. If you’re in the area this is a must-visit spot!

Made a detour here on my way to Nashville. Well worth it. Busy place but that's because of the food. Great and extensive menu, I had the ham and cheese omelette with a huge biscuit and some hash browns. Great coffee, great service, and a great vibe. If you find yourself in the area well worth a stop. Might take a few minutes to find parking but worth it.

Great food, atmosphere and waitress is great. Love the strawberry preserves and the big biscuits. Will keep coming back. Lots to choose from on the menu.

This place is the best breakfast in North Alabama. Ignore the bad reviews of this place. I'm not sure what those folks were complaining about, but my wife and I really enjoyed our experience. Food was delicious and there was plenty of it. Biscuits are very moist and fluffy, it's money in the bank. Ask for their in-house hot sauce it's incredible on everything.

We had a great time here. The food was fast, hot, and delicious. The wait staff was fun and did their job efecent . We will be back....

Big Bad(meaning great) Breakfast 🥞 has the best breakfast around. I got the little bad breakfast and my son got chicken and waffles!!! 🧇 He said they were great 😊 I would give 10 stars ⭐ if I could!!!

So good! We got the shrimp and grits and eggs benedict on a biscuit and just couldn't have asked for better. Our server was excellent. A must try if you are in the area!

Awesome place for a bougee breakfast! Loved it! Food great. Waitress great. Restaurant clean. Looks neat with half a plane in the wall and cutesy store in back.

I ate here for breakfast last year when I was in town visiting a friend. One of the best breakfast meals I've ever had! I'm coming back to town next month and I can't wait to eat here again!

Update: Back in town and ate here yesterday. Had Juevos Rancheros and it was sooo friggin good! Going back again this morning and my friend is paying so I'm getting steak and eggs 😂

Ate The Jack Benny. The poached eggs were perfectly cooked and it had great flavor. The only thing I would have wanted was an acid included in the construction of the dish. I felt like a tomato was missing. Overall great dish!
