One of my favorite bakery establishments in Kingwood, the fresh treats are out of this world. If you have a special occasion coming up, these scrumptious breakfast items are sure to be a hit! Very special indeed, pricy privilege worth the indulgence!

The service at the Kingwood, TX location is some of the best I have received. The breakfast panini is a great choice and can be customized with multiple breads, cheeses, meats, and onion/tomatoe. Who doesn't love fresh baked bread? Stop into the Kingwood Great Harvest Bread Co for a variety of fresh baked breads, sweet treats, and sandwiches for breakfast or lunch.

This restaurant exemplifies the trifecta of the three attributes that make an eatery great.
1. Deliciousness- The yardbird salad is currently my favorite salad.
2. High quality ingredients- the chicken is perfectly cooked, tender, and perfect. Never a bad piece. The produce is crisp and fresh.
3. The staff is cheerful and friendly, the facility is clean and comfortable.

Oh My Gosh! They GRIND wheat (daily) to make their own flour!!!

I don't think there's anyway you could get fresher bread, and they make good use of it in their sandwiches. I had the Texas Tuna and my wife had their Grilled Cheese (with bacon). Both sandwiches were excellent. It's not on the menu, but you can ask for the special Grilled-Cheese with Apples and sometimes they will make you this "secret" sandwich.

Since the weather was so good, we were able to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful setting, but I can see how on busy days you might have to take your food home or back to your office.

Pro-Tip: Their cookies are also amazing! The oatmeal raisin is a VERY LIMITED item. They don't make them all the time, so follow them on Facebook or Instagram if you want to have any chance to get some of these (the owner's personal favorite!).

Super friendly, owner-operated. I came by after the lunch rush and even got a tour of "The Mill". Seriously, they do NOT buy flour, they buy WHEAT and grind it themselves using a stone-grinder. You owe it to yourself to come by and give their bread a try!

Jeff, Sydney, and "Anita" lol are wonderful! The food is fresh and delicious and the atmosphere is great! The bread is super fresh, the cookies are awesome and the gluten free brownies are the best I've had! My husband did not know they were gluten free!!!😉

Very friendly staff and variety of locally baked goods. Generous free samples are offered to help you select your treats. I highly recommend visiting this local business! Pictured are jalapeno and cheese biscuits. Yum!

Wondeful staff, wonderful bread and no preservatives. My family loves the cinnamon bread, you can keep half refrigerated while you consume the other half. Thanks to Eva for her lovely attention.

Super friendly and helpful employees! The owners are absolutely adorable and so sweet! They go above and beyond to let you taste test anything and even gave my daughter a sample of the chocolate brownie. Delicious bread, super fresh! We got the Parmesan sourdough and the garlic cheddar and they are both great!!

Coming in here was fantastic. The berry cream cheese scone is delicious and the coffee is great. Even their decaf which is rare to find. The atmosphere of the customer service felt homey and I love that.

Today was my 3rd time in, and can I say just as fantastic as the 1st time. Super friendly staff, amazing food baked treats, sandwiches, and breads. Super clean and the kitchen is open you see it all the making, baking, and the finished product. Love this place I definitely recommend. Oh and they also have Gluten-free on I think Wednesday. I have not tried it yet however it is my plan to do so.

One of the best sandwiches I've ever had. It was a simple turkey with Swiss cheese on wheat bread, but, gosh was it ever great! I received excellent friendly service in a warm appealing atmosphere. When I left, I took a 2 taste tests with me for the road: a blueberry cream cheese scone and a salted caramel brownie. Wow! Shut the front door! I can't wait to go back and get a full size scone and brownie! This will be my new go-to sandwich shop.

Seriously the only fresh bread buying in Kingwood, sorry not sorry la Madeline. I've gone here many times and have always had a positive experience with the staff. I have a really annoying gluten allergy and the gluten free food they provide has never triggered my allergy once. I only had one mistake happened with them and it had to do with ordering online, so it just might be better to order in person. Even when faced with making a mistake, they were so genuine and wanting me to have a good customer experience and wanting to make up for it. I was having a really bad morning before, and left in such a great mood. These guys have my customer loyalty for life and I really recommend you try the bacon Apple grilled cheese, it is to die for. They don't play around with bacon, it's super thick cut

I love the variety of the different breads they have to offer. The muffins are DELICIOUS! If you have not tried their Pumpkin Chocolate Bread you should. I do not eat anything with pumpkin and I love this bread! Great customer service and the staff are always friendly and smiling.

Great Harvest Bread Co. has a wonderful sandwich selection in addition to their fresh baked bread. I recently had a "better grilled cheese" with apples and bacon and it was excellent. I would highly recommend this place for lunch, but there isn't a lot of seating so if you hit the rush you might have to take it to go.

Great Harvest has a great and patient staff that waits for you to chew through a few samples. But here's what I love about them. They are so community minded. After Harvey, they were offering a free loaf of bread per family every day until they ran out. Great people and excellent local business.

I love Great Harvest. If you're a Kingwood commuter used to waiting in line at Starbucks for your morning coffee, I encourage you to try Great Harvest instead. They're much less crowded, have great coffee and coffee drinks, and their baked goods are generally amazing. I love the muffins, especially the zucchini muffins. Cinnamon rolls on Fridays and Saturdays are also amazing. There are also gluten free options for those who need them. They do a good lunch as well, with sandwiches that range from healthy to indulgent and fresh brewed iced tea.

Wonderful service! Mentioned I was vegan and went above and beyond to give me options for what to eat for breakfast. Three seed hummus Sandwich ( I think that’s the name) was sufficient, but the chocolate muffin-vegan and a specialty bread-also vegan, with a jam was great! Would recommend!
