North 40 Feedlot

Stopped on our way through. We ordered cheese burgers and a salad bar. The burgers were delicious and the best fries! North 40 for the win! Thank y’all!

Love this place!!! Doesn’t look like much on the outside, but man it’s the place to stop. Great people and great food. They even have a salad bar.

Food was delicious! Good 'ole home cookin. My husband got the Bubba Burger (which was HUGE), I had the Hers Chicken Fried (YUM!) and kids had the Grill Cheese. Then we left with a bag of cookies. It's a little off the main road so watch for the sign.

Awesome place to eat. Great food and great Family Staff n the antiques here are very nice and some for sale. Down home cooking and homey type atmosphere.

The food is so good! Burgers, pork sandwich and CFS were all amazing!! Fast and friendly. Will be dining there again!

What a hidden gem! Don't let looks fool you if you want good food. Just go in. You will leave full with a to go box in your hand. Best fried jalapenos I have ever had. Chicken fried steak was awesome. Service was impeccable.

Service is great. People are nice and the restaurant is something to look at. They got a lot of neat things in there

Was really wanting the BBQ, but they sold out around 1pm, we went for supper and were very impressed, chicken fried steaks for the adults, good children's options, salad bar was awesome! Service was awesome! Will definitely be watching Facebook for the BBQ, And plan for lunch next time we visit our daughter and family!!

They are moving to a new location and as I'm understanding so far the menu may be different and no dining in As it will be grab n go. Will update wen we know more.

Had lunch with my son and grandson. It was great! I loved everything about this place.

The fish was amazing. Everything on my plate tasted absolutely fantastic. Will definitely go back.

We came in with a group of 7 for a late lunch and what a hidden gem. Everyone loved their food and the staff was so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend if you're traveling through west Texas.

GREAT FOOD! The ppl were also great! I was coming through town and stopped. Best Chicken fry and mashed potatoes I’ve had. Nothing is frozen and all homemade. Your crazy if you go anywhere else.

The staff is friendly and the menu is fantastic. A great steak, seafood, and down home country cooking restaurant. You can choose off the menu or try the delicious buffet. I can't get there enough. My favorite restaurant in Hamlin. I recommend the frog legs and the fried mushrooms. Wish I had some now. Does anyone want to take me? LoL

It was so Amazing!!! We tried about 9 different things with our family of 9 ... absolutely all of it was amazingly delicious!!
Waitress was so sweet and brought us everything we needed and more! Such a friendly atmosphere!!!

Great service and great food. Portions are huge. Salad bar is great. Bring your appetite. Love this place. Burgers are amazing and so are the green chili brisket enchiladas.

Great food and service, but unless you are really hungry don’t get the bubba’s chicken fried steak, I had a his chicken fry and it was almost to much, good food but I will try the her’s next time, good tea and coffee also an adequate salad bar

That buttermilk pie y'all is the best pie EVER..also had a really good meatloaf ..but that pie..im glad my daughter likes to stop at small towns to eat and not the average places...that tip I left was for the pie..it was worth it

Me and my best friend pulled into the 'little slice of small-town country' North 40 Feedlot during our road trip, and we have to say that they were a diamond in the rough of Texas! For what it's worth, you won't be disappointed; the staff is friendly and well-serving, and the food is mouth-wateringly homemade deliciousness! And the small confectionary the have there is absolutely divine! If you are in the area, and I mean like within a hundred miles, make a quick detour here; you won't regret it!

great owners & employees! Daily specials! salad bar is good. Buffet daily. I have ordered quite a few things & everything Ive had is delicious! Bubba burger, bubba club, anything Bubba is HUGE! :)
