We love a dive bar and this is one of them. Reasonably priced drinks. No frills.

I had a fantastic time at this place it was recommended to me by my friend so me and my wife went we had a fantastic time the drinks were good and the staff was really friendly plus she told me she felt very safe in the area so we were able to relax and hang out! Definitely a new place to come back to for us!

Dark and a fun vibe. Their holiday lights are awesome. I have never had a bad time here, I hope it never closes!

The truck outside has wings but they come ridiculously salty.

Been coming here ever since my daughter loved to visit the Alliance Children Park. Dive’ish type bar where you see the same people each time you visit. Great bartender and a nice selection. They have a Pizza truck that I haven’t tried but seems popular. All in all I love to be here:)

A solid, trashy bar with a great view and cheap drinks. Amazing bathrooms. All in all its a great, great bar. A real dive with personality and character. One of the best places to get a drink in town. Awesome patio views.

Great outdoor seating. Great pool scene. Great regulars.

Such a fun little dive bar. Has a pool table, big outdoor dog friendly patio and the vibes are great!

Staff is awesome and there’s a wings food truck there too. Right next to P. Terry’s too so you can grab food there and bring it over if you want! Oh and they have TVs inside and outside so decent for catching a game too!

Definitely on my top 5 Austin bar list. Just mega comfortable. Great atmosphere. The ultimate "grab a drink and chill" place. And! They actually have a jukebox. Can't believe how hard that is to find in Austin. Hate how they skip my song sometimes, it's okay, I know how to get revenge.

Solid "hole-in-the-wall" dive bar type atmosphere. No frills. Great beer selection. Bar tender was super friendly. They had a wings/fries food truck parked outside. Patio had a ton of seating, smoking was ok outside, and people could bring their dogs. Definitely would revisit when I'm in the ATX area again. Very chill place to land after being in traffic.

The craft cocktails are soooo yummy! The watermelon margarita was my favorite!

They gave a beer at a discount. They also have AtmosphereTV playing but they need it on more televisions. Don't drink the one called "Keyboard Gangsta". Not so good place to check STONKS

Really cool place to get some refreshing drinks south of the river! Has a country feel, benches outside to sit and enjoy the drinks on a nice evening. Very chill vibe.
There's also a wood fired pizza food truck outside. We didn't try any but that seemed cool. There's a pool table inside to kill some time if the outside weather is not pleasant.

I like this little spot, it's not usually over-crowded and the bartenders have always been quick and friendly to me. They have a pretty good selection of beers and house cocktails, and are pet friendly. It's a great location to make a quick stop on your way in or out of downtown, or if you just want a chill patio drink.

We really liked this place a lot. We were visiting Austin for the day and while our car was getting detailed across the street, we stopped by to get a drink. The bartenders were very friendly and it was just a comfortable vibe over all. Drinks were well made and there was a large variety to choose from. We left to go have drinks at a place on 6th street, had one drink there, and decided to come back to Barton Springs Saloon because we like the atmosphere so much better. Also, the pizza was pretty delicious as well!

Killer dive bar. Must visit while in Austin. Super chill.

Limited indoor and covered outdoor seating. Trivia on Mondays are probably my favorite thing about this dive-esq bar. The staff is friendly, hard-working and make sure the place is clean. Great selection of drafts and some good nearby food options.

I love this place. Wear what ever you want. No one here will judge you. Very affordable. If you want to go to a bar on a hot day with your pup it is the perfect place because dogs can go inside! If you are hungry you can order food from surrounding places and eat it here! Very reliable place. One of my favorites in Austin

Fun patio and good food truck

I love BS Saloon! As an Austin native it's been nice to have BS still hopping after all these years. The staff are amazing, and there to give you a cold beer with a good laugh. There's a large patio, plenty of TVs (for those into the sports ball), and a great jute box. It's a classic example of old Austin at it's dive bar best.
