Shoal Beach at Town Lake Metropolitan Park

Great spot to spend time in peace, sitting by the river, reading a book, walking the dog, walking or running on the trail, just watching beautiful people on canoes. It was a beautiful late spring afternoon and the weather was just perfect.

Came here to relax and drink coffee. It’s a nice area. Perfect for going on a walk or jog. The weather was perfect. Not too hot or too cold. Goldilocks would have loved it here..lol
I also saw people kayaking. I’d very much like to give that a try.

I was on the top floor of the library that overlooked the Shoal Beach and it was breathtaking.

What a gorgeous day it was on Town Lake. We walked 4 miles, and it was grand!

ROD Plumbing is amazing again. Always my go to for Plumbing issues. Angel is a great guy and spot on with his work.

Beautiful circle trail you can hike around the Colorado River and enjoy nature. Best to go during cooler weather when temperatures are in the 60's - 70's.

Great view of lake and downtown and a nice hiking trail right along the waters edge you can also park near by for free if you lucky to get one of the few nice shaded spots

This area has a picture of a world class must see! Austin Central Library it's simply beautiful with underground parking available but it fills up quick.

Love coming down to jog or hike along the waterfront. Very peaceful and spacious, and the trails are well-maintained.

Very secluded off trail hike, covered in poison ivy, and poison Oak. Soon to be developed, which will in turn offer greater views of the Colorado River– Town Lake – Lady Bird Lake.
Infested by water rats AKA water boarders and kayaking

This is a very nice place to take in Austin day or night. It's also very easy to launch a paddle board or kayak or canoe at this location

Nice downtown area to walk without all the riff raff. Sometimes there’s a person or two talking to themselves or yelling, but not too bad.
