Stoney Creek Hotel Sioux City

Very Very pleased. First I have to say how it’s great that this place is pet friendly. I brought my 2 dogs who are kind of crazy, and people/workers are respectful and don’t just touch them. They are just as welcomed as us and I love that. Only concern I have for bringing pets here is where they are supposed to go potty, theres not much space for that in any close-by area with the -40°f windchill it was hard to find a good spot for them to “go”, and somewhere not to far that makes me freeze. And for the dogs barking comments.. if you don’t want to deal with that chance you should go somewhere pets aren’t allowed. Pool was very nice, gets extremely crowded later in the day though. Rooms were so nice and felt so homey. Front desk was helpful with any information we needed. And utilities. Breakfast was good, I’ve definitely had better.

So close to everything downtown. 8 minute walk to art district. Very cute lodge style property with thoughtful decorations. I wish I got the front desk person's name who helped me. She was always there late, over her shift, and first thing in the morning. She was so nice and helpful, I appreciated her a lot.

Everything was really clean. There were a lot of kids on property being cute and playing in the lobby commons and in the pool. I loved the noise because it was really quiet without my kids and I missed them. If you aren't a person who loves kiddo noise, keep that in mind.
It is a little expensive but it was worth it this time.

I recently stayed here two nights on a road trip (though not two nights in a row) and I was very pleased. The front desk staff were very courteous. My rooms were spacious, comfortable, and clean. My only complaint would be the low water pressure in the shower.

We recently held our Mom's funeral in Sioux City. We were able to easily get a block of rooms for family at a very reasonable rate. The hotel is very convenient and large enough to accommodate our large family. So many areas to sit and visit. We rented a private room one evening and ordered sandwiches and wraps. They were fresh and delicious and made on site. So many options to choose from as well. The staff made it very easy for me to make all of the arrangements from a distance at a very stressful time in our lives. We are so thankful for their professionalism and kindness.

I really liked this hotel. It has log cabin decor and is pretty nice overall. It hits all the major options you would expect in a hotel. It has an indoor/outdoor pool and a koi pond. I really enjoyed feeding the fish. It is also within walking distance to several different restaurants and other businesses / venues. Overall I will definitely be staying again when I am in the area.

We had a great stay on our way out to Denver from Minneapolis. Comfy room and great hospitality. Thank you to the amazing staff and shout out to Mason for making our nights stay the best experience. That man deserves a raise.

Across from the Hard Rock Casino and hotel. Tons of parking and space enough for a semi in the overflow parking across the street from the Hard rock. Makes a good close walk for many different restaurants. Fancy hotel with a nice pub. If u don't like the small intimate feel of the pub you can head over to the Casino and there is many other choices of restaurants

Great rooms and facility at a competitive price. Had several travel changes and cancellations due to weather and the front desk staff was both helpful and efficient. Click click done.

This hotel is very clean and comfortable with very professional and accommodating staff!! We just spent the weekend for a family reunion. 25 people, 7 rooms to include a double queen, a few king deluxe and a couple family rooms that provided comfortable sleeping and living quarters for all. Grounds are beautiful and well maintained, breakfast was great and the entire time we spent there was relaxing and hassle free! Kids loved swimming in the indoor/outdoor pool and playing in the courtyard. Highly recommend! We will choose this hotel again next year!!!

I frequently stay here for work trips to Sioux City, and I was very grateful this time around when the front desk associate (Mason) helped me when I couldn't find the remote the first night and lost my room keys the second night. He was super patient and professional, I'll always book Stoney Creek when I am in town. Thank you!

No complaints and didn’t want to leave. Arrived with two dogs and they treated us wonderful. I will probably try to only stay here when in South Dakota. For what it’s worth, I’ve traveled a good bit of the U.S., Europe, Caribbean, and other places in the world (Fiji, Australia, i.e.) staying in 4 and 5 star accommodations, and I very much loved Stony Creek.

Great location, cozy atmosphere, unique layout. All at a good price. Definitely glad I stayed here. Hotel staff was also friendly with recommendations for things around town. Only complaint was the air units were a little loud, but maybe that's just the price of the top floor. Would stay again.

The rooms are nice, beds are comfortable. I really like the pool.

Parents stayed there while visiting. Rooms are clean. Nice indoor / outdoor pool and hot tub.

I'm not sure where to begin to describe what an incredible hotel this is. Our son has cerebral palsy and drives a power wheelchair. The room they recommended for us worked beautifully! There was plenty of room for him to move around. The friendliness was top notch as well as the cleanliness. Definitely giving this five stars for everything! Is very highly recommend!!!

Pretty good stay here. Very convenient location and across the street from hard rock casino. Room was clean and nice. Hallways were clean and so was the elevator.

Worked out very well, nice staff and room. The breakfast bar was out of food by 7:45 am. What's up with that?

Everybody here has been very nice and helpful. Breakfast is pretty good and they actually have half decent coffee. Rooms are clean and as described. No bath tub though. The bed is a little lumpy and the sheets keep coming off the corner of the bed but overall pretty comfortable. The highlight has been the indoor/outdoor pool. The water is nice and warm and swimming outside, as bitter cold as it has been, is a really neat experience. It's a shame the hot tub went down the very first day of our stay.
