Saddlehorn Winery

Perfect little winery for us to hang out a Saturday afternoon and enjoy with a group of friends drinking wine and talking stories and eating food! We could bring our own food and the staff let us know we could sit inside or outside . Outside was great with the field views and soaking the December sun in..-and drinking wine . We then went inside and that was equally comfortable ! The tasting went great with friendly service and we were able to hang out and talk in such a friendly and inclusive space . Had such a great time here and will definitely return

Saddlehorn Winery is by far my favorite place to be on a Saturday afternoon. Everything from the super friendly and helpful staff to the rolling hills, to the big blue sky, and of course, the delicious wine make Saddlehorn winery a wonderfully peaceful and rejuvenating place. The patios are pet friendly, so I was able to enjoy a glass of their great Tempranillo while my dog enjoyed the sunshine and tranquility. The Malbec was also delicious. The winding country roads on the way to the winery are very scenic and a delight to drive. I'm already looking forward to the next pick-up party for wine club members.

Lactation: quiet and tranquil. Nice atmosphere. Enough room to enjoy in a socially distanced atmosphere. Very clean tables and restrooms.
Staff: very helpful and friendly.
Price: very reasonable. Equivalent to all of the local wineries.

I would highly recommend the sweet Riesling Happy Trails. Very relaxing location and a great place to share a bottle with friends.

We enjoyed the atmosphere that was comfortable for lingering and talking while enjoying generous wine tasters. The hostess was friendly and informed about their wine choices. It would be a good stop on your Chappell Hill wine tour! I want to come back when the weather cools and sit outside.

We have been going to Saddlehorn for many years. Awesome owner who makes awesome wine! The Blanc Du Bois dry is an incredible white wine, the best Blanc Du Bois I have ever had, consistently good year after year. Great tasting room and event area, they throw great member events. Always a great time!

Beautiful, peaceful, friendly. Wanted to stop here many a time; glad I finally did! This is a must visit place!

Cute little winery, just a little off of 290. Very tasty wines, and excellent pizza.

We came to Brenham for our anniversary. Visited a few wineries and a brewery on our trip. We enjoyed our time here. It’s out in the middle of nowhere so it’s nice and quiet. Good selection of wines and some yummy pizza. We did the wine flight. The staff was very welcoming, too. Nice seating areas outside and inside. Would definitely go back!

Amazing! We are from Minnesota and stopped in our way back to our camper. I am so sorry I didn't catch the wonderful woman's name that did our tasting. We had top notch service and great conversation. Being from out of town she had so many good recommendations for our stay in Texas! We will be back for another visit before we head out! And yes, the wine was fabulous! ❤

Excellent wine! Ideal location among the rolling hills of the Texas countryside. Recommend trying the flavorful Black Spanish wine. All wines here are great! Some weekends they make fire oven pizza!

Very nice facility with several varieties of white, rose and red wines with distinctly different flavors. The staff was super-helpful and the pizza was excellent. There is no tour option here but the tasting allowed us to sample 7 or 8 of their many wines and this was very interesting. Great place overall.

Beautiful location. Loved the rustic decor; exposed beams, warm wood colors, cow hide furniture. Great private room for reception, family reunions. Pastures filled with bluebonnets and cows. Perfect photo opportunities. The wine was delicious! And the staff was so kind! We will definitely be back!

What a great little winery an hourish away from Houston!! Everyone there was literally soooo nice. The wine was amazing! We did the tasting of 6 wines. I LOVED 4 of them. Which is not what usually happens. I usually like one or two of tastings but Saddlehorn has some amazing wine. It was so great that my husband went ahead and join the Wine Club and we bought 6 bottles of wine. We got 2 Pinots, 2 Bridle Blush, 2 Malbecs. I recommend everyone who likes wine to stop by!
