The Champaign store is a mix. The associates aren’t real friendly, they’re not mean, but just not friendly. They all look like they hate their jobs. The looks on their faces and the tones in their voices clearly show they seem irritated when someone walks up, but the selection of products is really good and the quality of the print materials is really good and fast with in store pick up. I signed up for the advantage program though and I don’t like it. I ordered flyers for my company to be picked up at the Champaign store. I hadn’t heard anything after a couple days so I went into the store to check. The employee stated that since I was an advantage customer, when I order on line, the company sends my order to whichever production plant it wants at the time of the order and then they ship it to the store for pick up, which could take a week or so. I didn’t see where it stated that on the website, nor did I receive any notification of that. I will be unsubscribing from that. Overall, the main reason I will continue to shop at Staples is for the quick turn around of my marketing materials, certainly not for the friendliness of the staff.
