I stood in a wedding this past January at Bay Pointe inn. It was a beautiful venue.
The “Boat House” and “cottages” were stunning & cozy. The continental breakfast was amazing and delicious. A HUGE snow storm occurred during the wedding weekend, and the staff were on top of the snow plowing/shoveling like crazy. It was great. I would love to visit in the Summer time.

We stayed over winter break! The kids loved swimming in the pool and the adults loved the beautiful view and comfy rooms! The continental breakfast was amazing and our dinner at the Grille was wonderful as well! So glad we chose Bay Pointe as our destination!!!

We had our wedding here and everything was beyond amazing. The rooms were beautiful and clean. The staff was so accommodating. The restaurant inside the hotel has amazing food. Everyone kept asking how we found this venue because it was so beautiful. I would highly recommend this place for anyone getting married, or looking for a nice weekend away.

I will start this review by saying how sorry we are that one of the guest treating our bartender horrible. Side note he got what he deserved the police escorted him to jail. Enough said. I can't put into words what a class act Bay pointe is, from the time we got there until we left, the service and staff were AMAZING. Thank you Steven for doing a magnificent job serving the rehearsal dinner which was excellent and walking us through the ceremony. The weather was not great but everything turned out great. We rented the boat house which is the coolest house ever. In closing I again want to apologize to our bartender that was nothing but amazing and did not deserve the treatment she got. Mike and Patti Powers should be very proud of the staff they have and the facilities are awesome. Thanks for a great weekend.

We had our wedding here in August and everything was above and beyond. From the actual hotel for our friends and family, to the wedding events team, everything was perfection. We rented the boathouse in addition to the lakefront pavillion, and I don't think things could have gone any better!

We could not have done it without our team with Mariesa, Jessica, and Stephanie. They are a power house of a team, and made everything beyond perfect!

Bay Pointe Inn was an absolute DREAM come true location for our wedding. We booked the venue sight unseen as we live out of state, and ever since doing so the staff was on the spot with answering our questions and making sure our day was going to be the best ever. When we arrived for our big weekend the service and staff took our experience to another level. The Boat House villa was perfect for getting ready and hosting out of town guests, the Woods provided the most gorgeous backdrop for our ceremony and reception and most of all hats off to Liz and the other coordinators. To say they were on top of their game would be an understatement, with a direct text line for anything we needed, making sure the bride and groom had drinks all night and answering any and all questions we had I cannot say enough good things about them and the entire BPI team. My friends and family are already asking if we can plan a 5 year anniversary party there because they all loved it so much. They are true professionals and leave no detail unattended. THANK YOU to everyone at BPI for making it the most amazing weekend ever!

First time staying with them and will definitely be back! The beds were comfy, had snacks for guests when they arrive, beautiful views, amazing and fresh continental breakfast, the best I've had out of all the hotels I've stayed at in addition to the cleanest as well!

I got married at Bay Pointe Inn in April 2023. They allowed us to get married on the Lakefront, and our reception was held at the Woods. We got endless complements from our guests on how beautiful the venue was, and it was the perfect location. Throughout planning, the staff was extremely accommodating and always ready to answer any questions. We also held our rehearsal dinner in the Fireside room the night before our wedding, stayed in the cottages so we could get ready there the morning of the wedding, and stayed in the complementary bridal suite the night of our wedding. Everything was extremely clean and organized, and the food was great for both the rehearsal dinner and the wedding. Thanks to Bay Pointe (and our vendors) our vision was executed flawlessly, and everything went as planned. I can not recommend Bay Pointe enough for your wedding day!

The room needs an update (lakeside luxury suite), but everything else was perfect!! Great food and service. The venue is beautiful.

My husband and I just had our wedding at Bay Pointe and it was like a fairy tale. It was gorgeous, the food was amazing and the service was great! Our day of coordinator was Jocelyn and I can't stress enough how outstanding she was. I am such a stresser and always worry about the little details but with Jocelyn, she stayed on top of everything and was on took care of every detail before I even had time to think of it, much less stress, leaving me to have a more fun and relaxing day than I ever dreamed possible!

Madison and Ashley were my point people leading up to the wedding and they were fantastic. My husband and I live out of state so there were so many emails back and forth as I asked them extra questions, not knowing the area. They always answered quickly and never seemed to mind. Madison in particular was invaluable helping me with the DJ, who had extra questions and concerns.

As for the venue itself, it was absolutely beautiful, peaceful and exceeded my expectations. The room was so nice, the bed was like sleeping on a cloud with comfortable pillows and super soft sheets and blankets. The Jacuzzi tub was super great too, especially after the long day of being on our feet. Also, I highly, highly recommend grabbing some of the cookies after check in. They are fantastic and go quickly!

All in all, I would definitely recommend this venue for your wedding. I was very happy with everything!

What an incredible experience! We had our wedding here on September 16th and loved every minute of it.
Special shout out to Juno who was so awesome to work with over the last year while we planned the wedding. She was always responsive and professional! We received so many compliments during and after the wedding, the food and the beautiful location were definitely highlights! It’s a day we’ll be talking about for years to come.

I had my wedding here on October 14th, 2023.
Everything from the beginning planning with Juno, all the way up to the day of was awesome. Everyone I spoke with was extremely helpful and responsive, especially since I had never planned or help plan a wedding before so I had no idea what I was doing.
Booklet explaining pricing breakdown and all helpful info was my life line during the whole process.
Day of and day before I didn't know I would be switching to Liz as my day of coordinator instead of Juno but she was awesome. She had drinks all waiting for everyone in my wedding party the minute we came back inside to get the reception started.
All the wait staff were super polite and great with the guests, the bartenders nearly had everyone's drinks memorized by the end of the night.
We were at the wood's location so had access to the firepits and chairs at night, which was a perfect way to wind down.
We had access to the rest of the lakefront for pictures as needed, even with other weddings going on.
Food was awesome, every guest I spoke to about it said the dinner menu was some of the best they have had at weddings.
The only thing that would have been helpful was I had a few guests with special dinner needs, but didn't know who to tell who needed these plates. I wasn't asked about it until after the guests had gone through the buffet line, but I had a big enough selection everyone was still able to find something to eat without their own plate set aside.
It was a wonderful day, and everything went exactly as planned and on time. I honestly can't say good enough things about this place for your wedding! They have it all figured out.

Wow! Amazing! Great place for relaxation in or out of the facility. The rooms ARE better than any of the pictures in the advertisements. This place is also VERY clean and the people are so friendly and helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. If you are in the area, you'd be a fool not to check it out!

The Inn was great! Restaurant not so much. People in the room next to us woke us up at 2:40 a.m. yelling, slamming doors etc.

We recently hosted our wedding with Bay Pointe, renting two venue locations -- the "Lakefront Pavilion" and "Boathouse Villa". We really wanted a relaxed, scenic, and fun vibe for our wedding and this place absolutely delivered! Our guests couldn't get over how beautiful the location was, and kept saying "we have to come back" and "how did you find this place?". I highly recommend the Lakefront Pavilion for a wedding -- though it is the priciest of the options for peak wedding seasons, in my opinion there is no substitute. And if you can swing it renting the Boathouse for a "gathering house" to accompany the main wedding festivities made the weekend all the better. You cannot underestimate how fun it is having your friends stay in one big house with you, and a built-in after party. It was an incredible weekend full of great catered food, and an overall solid wedding experience. Bay Pointe feels designed for weddings, and their professionalism is evident. Shout out to Stephanie from the events / catering team who looked after us and confirmed all our details on the day of. The only negative I would say is the open bar randomly "ran out" of tequila. Not sure how that happened, but luckily there were enough spirits in our drink package to satisfy. It was a beautiful weekend on the lake, and we have so many memories to look back on.

Excellent experience....our daughters wedding went smoothly, all guests we accommodated and happy. Friendly and capable staff. We will try to plan a summer escape there.

We chose Bay Pointe Inn’s Boathouse Villa for our weekend stay, wedding ceremony and reception. This several-story, historic, lakefront villa with outdoor dining space was such a unique and stunning choice (for our smaller, 80-person wedding). We couldn’t be happier with our decision.

Bay Pointe’s staff were amazing from the day I first reached out to the days following the big event. Their prompt, thorough responses took much of the stress off planning a wedding, and they made us feel welcome at every turn whenever we visited.

Our wedding experience with Bay Pointe Inn was everything we could have hoped for plus more! Everything was absolutely perfect! It all started with our tour with Sales Manager Mariesa. She showed us the different venues to hold the wedding, and that’s when we fell in love with the Lakefront Pavilion and its beautiful views right on Gun Lake.

From there, my fiancée and I worked with the Catering Event Manager Juno to plan the nitty and gritty details. Juno was a constant professional and helped us plan every second of our wedding and food details.

The day of our wedding, Courtney took great care of us and ensured that everything went perfectly throughout the day. She even went above and beyond and arranged the flowers on our cake, which turned out beautifully! We couldn't have asked for a better event supervisor for our big day and we are so grateful to her for helping make the day perfect and stress-free.

First time visiting. Was in town for steet outlaws event at us131 dragway. Wasn't going to pay price gouged prices for lackluster chain hotels. Bay View was an amazing property nestled in a quiet heavily wooded semi rural area. It's really like an oasis. Staff were very friendly, rooms were clean, beds comfortable. We were on the 3rd floor and didn't really hear anyone else. Friends traveling with us were on 2nd floor and were disturbed several times throughout the night with loud stomping from above. Attached bar and grill had a high end esthetics. Food was OK not the best I've had certainly not bad. The bbq burger was tastey but despite asking it be cooked medium it was pretty dry. Friend ordered the filet mignon rare and it looked medium. Service was great overall very enjoyable dining experience. This is a great getaway property would recommend and revisit.
