West Virginia Market Place

The downtown market was a joy to visit for this out of town visitor. We stopped in and browsed the outdoor market area. There were tons of fresh veggies, pumpkins and flowers to buy. We had a delicious lunch at Soho with fresh pasta dishes. Afterwards, we toured the inside market and bought a small candy box from the delightful vendor there. We had a great time and the parking was free.

If you go outside to Evans greenhouses they are amazing some of the best prices and most beautiful flowers you'll find they are one of the outdoor vendors and the best place to get ur flowers

This is at The Capital Market in Charleston. We drove down from Columbus today just to visit. A terrific fall experience, with so much seasonal produce and fruit, including many, many pumpkins and squash. I have a great time every fall here. Worth the drive.

Always get what you need for a decent price. Was very pleased with my experience.

The West Virginia Public Market has wonderful restaurants, individual booths where sushi, coffee, chocolate and other products are sold. Outside, the farmers sell beautiful flowers and great produce. It's worth a visit!

Very cool place to get fresh food of all types, a must visit if you are in the area!

So much to take in, and so little time. Bring comfy shoes and have a few hours to spend

One of the best places to get vegetable plants; and I finally found the chinelle plant at the Gritts stall on the left as you go in the main entrance (red hot cat tail - if you've no idea what kind of plant it is, look it up I think it's beautiful 😍)

The market always has friendly people and the produce is always fresh. I also found a place inside the market that has Bao buns. They are amazing!

Fresh fruits, vegetables, and herbs at wonderful prices! We come here in the Fall for our apples and sweet potatoes - much higher quality than the grocery stores!

We had lunch at the fish market, be sure to bring cash. Credit card reader was down. Real slow day today, almost empty. Plenty of great looking plants.

I went there to shop I took my dogs along with me I have two little Chihuahuas. Everyone's so nice there and helpful I can't complain about anything I enjoyed myself they were kind to my dogs but of course my dogs are very well behaved they love everyone and it's a good thing to be able to take your little puppies with you so they can socialize ! And also they had a great time. Even got the fur babies ice cream. LOL

Everything WV a made! Bistro Soup Mix all WV! Honey! Vegetables and fruits! Jams and more! Close to interstate ramps & eateries!

Johnny's Meat has the best ground beef I've tasted. Love the produce and the mom and pop homemade sauces

One of my favorite places in Charleston. If they don't have it, you probably don't need it lol. Excellent parking, easy entrance/exit, handicapped accessible, just an overall great place!

Great service, great food?

A great place for locally grown produce in season. Farmers market outside shopping area. The enclosed store area offers more unique items. We generally visit the market when we are in the area visiting family.

Really nice little local market! I am from out of state but I always swing by Holl's chocolate when I am in town. It is some of the best chocolate I have ever had.

A genuinely comforting market with ; great local items ,foods and souvenirs. Parking was easy. Lines to purchase were limited at worst .
