Rosie's Mexican Cantina

Extensive menu. You can even build your own plate. Appetizers, soups, salads. Lots of types of enchiladas. Chile Rellanos, etc.They make fresh tortillas on site! Good, crispy (not greasy) chips and salsa. Excellent margaritas. Food was served quickly! And hot. Portions are large. You could definitely split a plate. Free, delicious vanilla ice cream for dessert. Very friendly and helpful waitress.

An excellent Mexican style restaurant! Food service and decor are wonderful and the soft serve vanilla ice cream dessert included with the meal is a delight.

It’s always a pleasant experience at Rosie’s. Even during the dinner rush, we were seated fairly quickly. The food was hot and fresh! The tortillas are my absolute favorite!

Beautifully decorated. Festive but loud. Excellent food. Really liked the salsa and the Chicken tortilla soup although it was served like warm.

This is the first time for us to try this restaurant. That atmosphere is lively, fun and upbeat. Very family-friendly. The food was wonderful. The service was great. We will definitely be back.

Service was great. Staff was excellent. Greeted by management at door. Food was delivered quickly and was hot! Veggie quesadilla was awesome.

Grace was our server. She is by far the best server we have had in a very long time, if ever. Paired with the wonderful food, it was a great experience.

First time to visit Rosie’s. It was a great experience and good food with dear friends. Brady was our server and he did an excellent job. Should my wife and I get a chance to return we will definitely visit Rosie’s again.

Despite the enormous surge in customers all at the same time, Jenny (of the Florence, AL location) did a great job keeping drinks, chips, salsa on the table. The food was served as ordered and then she issued our multiple checks quickly so that we, like all the other tables, could go right outside to see the Christmas parade. Thank you Jenny!!!!

My family and I visit after we go to Waterloo to race dirt bikes. Each time the service, atmosphere, and quality of food is great.

Rosie's Mexican cantina has reopened their bar area with stools at the bar and their food is just as good as it always has been. Rosie's is among the best Tex-Mex food in the Shoals area and always is hot and fresh. One of my favorite dining places. I want able to try my favorite thing at Rosie's, their fried ice cream so maybe next time.

My most recent visit however prompted me to update my review because it's been a few months since the wife and I dined at Rosies however we both were alarmed at some of the differences from what we were accustomed to before. Their White Cheese dip was extremely thin, almost watery, the ranch dressing, with the salad, was not near as good, also thinner and the Chicken Fajitas were disappointing. Never had I had a bad or even mediocre meal at Rosies and I hope that this most recent visit was a one off and now a reflection of changes made to their selections.

I will return however I hope for a much better meal, something I'm usually accustomed to at Rosies, next time. I will be apprehensive as with Rosie's being one of my favorite dining places it will seem such a loss if the bad experiences continue.

Because I do feel this may be a one off visit I will not reduce my 5 star rating because this was one bad visit compared to many more totally excellent visits. I just hope that deliberate changes were not made in attempts to cut operational cost verses menu price adjustments due to the current economy and inflation.

Lastly let me say that the manager did remove the charge for the cheese dip and one thing you can always count on at Rosie's is that their Management always cares and will address any problems brought to their attention.

Excellent. Lunch portions were plenty big enough and flavorful. Our waiter was great - professional and courteous.

My favorite place to eat. I eat there just about every day of the week. Not only for the food but the service it great. All of the employees our very welcoming.

In town to visit family and stopped in for a late lunch. We were treated to a fantastically fun atmosphere, phenomenal food, on point margaritas, and great friendly and prompt service from Anna! This is a place I want to come back to for sure! Awesome job Rosie's staff!

Even though Rosie’s Cantina is a long way from our home, we never miss a chance to eat there if we are in the area. As always the food was excellent, the service prompt and friendly, and the atmosphere outstanding, especially when dining on the patio/sidewalk area. You are treated to a beautiful view of downtown Florence from your table!

We always love the enchiladas or chimichangas, but we never fail to have the awesome black bean soup! Do yourself a favor and try it when you can,
