Sweet Basil is a delightful, sophisticated, and cozy restaurant located in the English Village Shopping Center.

The charming decorative touches throughout the restaurant help to make this a warm and welcoming establishment.

They serve a variety of gourmet salads, specialty sandwiches, soups, homemade desserts, plate lunches, and so much more! They even have to go dinners available!

Everything is delicious and served beautifully in an artful arrangement.

Even the most basic dish is served with thoughtful presentation.

My favorite is the club on croissant. The homemade chips and Orzo pasta are some of my other favorite staples at Sweet Basil. They add new items to the menu daily. They serve everything from chicken and dressing, burgers, tacos, tomato pies, Sloppy Joe's, Salmon Patties, Catfish, Pot Pies....anything you can think of...just with a more creative twist..it's always an exciting treat to see what they'll cook up next.

Sweet Basil is also a full service catering company available for weddings, corporate events, private parties, etc.

You're guaranteed to be greeted with a friendly face when you enter and will receive top-notch service.

My first visit and it was great. I had the sampler plate which was Tomato Basil Soup, salad, and half Turkey and Cheese on Wheat. It was perfect! Definitely will return!

Visited for lunch. It was so good. I had Tomato Pie and Red, White, and Blue Salad. Their menu has good variety and has something for anyone. I will definitely be back.

I had the blue cheese Reuben with RWB salad. My friend had the ham and cheese croissant , also with RWB salad. The blue cheese on the Reuben made the flavors pop and it was so surprising!

Wow!! We are so glad we found such a wonderful place to have lunch when we go through Florence!!

Went for my husband's class reunion. All the food was wonderful and attractive! Servers were helpful.

One of the most flavorful menus anywhere around. Red white and blue salad Oprah salad and the white BBQ chicken sandwich with cornbread or Salmon Sauerkraut sandwich but everything I've ordered on the menu has been very mouth watering

On a short get away trip and happened upon this delight for lunch. I had the pimento cheese patty melt and a side of the Red, White, and Blue salad. The wife had the Greek quinoa salad with grilled chicken. Everything was very delicious. The RWB Salad pairs blue cheese with fresh greens as well as strawberries and blue berries with a sweet vinegrette dressing and it is out of this world. Highly recommend.

Best tomato pie ever! Fresh ingredients and a touch of southern hands making the food makes it all yummy. A big variety of salads and sandwiches that are healthy and fresh. Atmosphere is bright and service is great.

Every single time that I come to eat here I'm blown away. The food is so very good! I'm definitely a huge fan. The White Bbq Chicken and the Red, White, & Blue Salad are my absolute favorites. Florence has a gem here!

Even though we arrived unbeknownst to us 30 minutes prior to close, we were treated cordially by Cheryl and never felt rushed. Our Benedict was delicious and plentiful! Paul was a joy, checking on us and refilling our hot tea.

My bf and I came here for the first time this past weekend and we were very impressed! Healthy choices, super friendly service, flavorful food and decent prices. The owner is full of light and love. I don't eat out much, but next time I do, it'll be here!

We come to Florence about once every 3 or 4 months and lunch is always at Sweet Basil. We never go elsewhere. Great menu and the specials are the best. Family atmosphere is fabulous.

We ordered an Italian Creme Cake from Sweet Basil for my husband’s retirement party and it was absolutely the best cake ever! It was the hit of the party and we will be ordering more. I’ve made them at home before from scratch, but they were no where near this good! Great job and highly recommend!!!!

Had lunch here today with my wife, first time visit. Food was pretty good and fresh. Had the Monte Crisco with broccoli salad. Broccoli salad was a little creamier than I liked, but I ate it all so it must not have been too bad LOL. A little on the pricey side but it's a mom and pop place so we don't mind supporting them more then the pricey chain restaurants. Lots of choices on the menu so we'll probably be back to try something new.

Man, they are so awesome here. I wasn’t even eating at first. I was just doing homework. They were so accommodating, and cleared a larger table so I had more space to work. The food is dope too! I’ll be, as they said, “dad of the year” with the cupcake they complimented me to take home to my daughter!

First visit! Excellent food and tea!!! I cannot speak to pricing because there were no prices on the menu and a friend paid. I imagine, since they do not list prices, they must be pretty high. But I will be back when I want to treat myself or a friend.

Amazing food, decent prices. Even found great NZ wine on the bodega (market) on the far side of the room. The chicken with white gravy on corn bread is a local specialty and really really good.

Wow, what a menu! Most likely impossible to not find something you'll love. Tried the Turkey Deluxe sandwich with bagel chips and raspberry tea. Amazing. Food was fresh and portions were generous.

One of the nicest restaurants in Florence. They have excellent food and a very nice atmosphere. It has a very high class vibe without being insanely expensive. I would recommend it to anybody that wants to eat really good food at a really nice place.
