Fox Bend Golf Course

This is a lovely Golf Course in a suburb of chicago, illinois. Oswego is a nice town with lots of shopping and restaurants. The course itself was very well kept, and had some beautiful views including small ponds. The restaurant was delightful! There was a deck with live, outdoor music on a Saturday night, and the food was delicious. Our server was out of this world. She was so kind and had the most wonderful smile. It was over 90°, and never once did she seem frustrated or overwhelmed. The Pro Shop was very well equipped and had a nice selection of clothing as well. The snack shop offered many different options. Several times we were approached by a beverage cart on the course. Our friends live in Oswego and play here all the time. It was our first time, and we were impressed. ⛳💖😀

Even though it is middle of december, the course is super well maintained.
Not crowded so that it is so good to play without rush. Very engaging course design will make your winter golf day.

I'm a 20 handicapper. Course is very challenging. Nice layout, plenty of hazards to avoid. Greens roll firm and fast. Coolers still filled w ice water at 4pm.

The finest golf course and people I have ever been to. Played golf from California to Florida and never have the people in every area been so appreciative of someone being there. The course is excellent and the practice facilities are as good as anywhere in the country.

This course is well maintained and beautiful. As for the course, all levels of golfers would like this course. There are plenty of challenging holes to keep you honest. I love to hate this course. It seems to get the best of me, but I love the challenge, and I'll continue to play golf here.

Allen and his wife have created a perfect venue for family events. Their personal touch makes you feel appreciated. You are more than a customer you are treated like family.

It was in great condition. The pace of play was good. This is a value for your money course.

Course is in great condition. Greens are rolling true . Friendly and courteous staff. Easy to book tee times either on line or by calling the pro shop. Make your stop after the round for a bite or your favorite beverage. Nice practice area for warming up before the round.

Great practice area. Everything from practice bunker, green with good breaks and fairway and rough to practice chipping. Driving range is decent and pricing is good. Great place to go get some swings in when I don't have enough time for 18.

The course is phenomenal. Plenty of hazards to make you think on how you should play the hole. Can't just decide every tee shot is a driver. Course was in great condition as well. Will definitely play again.

Excellent golf course at a great value. Play here several times a year and course conditions have improved significantly. Challenging greens, great fairways, well kept and nice staff. Overall a great place to play with different levels of difficulty for everyone and not a single home on your way (other than Rt 34 along #9)!

Set up a tee time with carts a week in advance. Everything was very professionally done. The check in people were very friendly as was the starter. Round of golf was at a very good pace with nobody feeling rushed or held up. The course was in very good condition with the greens being very challenging. It was nice to go on the deck afterwards and have a cold one with the group. Social distancing was in affect.

It is a nice driving range no frills but nice to say the least, I have not had the opportunity to golf the course yet.

I am a regular golfer at Fox Bend, so I am not only familiar with the course, but with all the people. Bob and his entire grounds crew do a superb job of keeping the course in absolutely excellent shape. Even during the rainy May, and dry July the course was in great shape. Ben and his entire crew of rangers and all the other employees make all their guest feel welcomed and appreciated. I hope the Oswego Park District is aware of the excellent facility they offer as well as the top notch people they have serving the community.

Nice course, freshly mowed and the people running the course are very polite and attentive. I do not normally golf, but I came out to play footgolf, which is basically a soccer version of golf. Lots of fun! Felt a little weird because the people who owned the course followed us on every stroke. Probably because they wanted to help lead the way to each hole. Regardless, lots of fun and a good facility

I like fox bend. Not too pricey, and challenging enough to be interesting every time, but also not bad for beginners. Some water and trees and well placed bunkers to keep you guessing. Its maintained well and the staff is friendly

I played Foxbend yesterday with a friend. We found the course to be in excellent condition. The fairways are lush and cut nicely. Greens and tee boxes are in good condition, and the sand bunkers have soft and workable sand.
I’ve been playing at Foxbend since 1973 and can’t remember the course being in better condition. Kudos Foxbend!
We also ate lunch at Pearce’s restaurant after the round. Eating outside on their deck is very pleasant and the food is very good.
Parking is ample and the staff are friendly. 5 STARS!!!

Affordable rates. Friendly staff. As a newer golfer with friends who have much more experience this is a great track that can accommodate both types with their tee locations. A must play if you are ever in the area.

This Fox Bend * compliment * is way overdue. Yes, I love the course, but there is no better staff at a golf course anywhere close. A perfect example is I just got off the phone with "Ken" about playing in my first ever league next year, and he couldn't have been nicer. Another great example is how they say they really appreciate your business after you pay to play. One of my pet peeves about golfing has always been how some courses act like they're doing you a favor letting you play their course. Not Fox Bend.
