Alcentro Trattoria

I was looking for a place to have dinner for date night. Luckily many people suggested to try Alcentro. We’re so glad they did because our experience was fantastic!
We sat outside which was definitely the right move. Our server, whose name I didn’t catch was great too.
We ordered the Lavanda Spritz, the calamari, a margarita pizza, and the pollo vesuvio. Everything was delicious! We only regret not getting pics of the main dishes. Hah!
We easily decided this is our favorite Italian spot and that we’d be back often, and we’ll happily suggest Alcentro to friends and family!

I enjoyed al fresco dining facing a small piazza, watching people stroll by and a band setting up for an outdoor concert in the park.
The pizza was tasty, had great flavors and dough. The staff was very pleasant, present, and friendly.

On my next visit, I had the bone-in beaded pork chop and it was the size of a catcher's mitt. Plus a side of spaghetti. Delicious. The spaghetti was home made.
The calamari was perfectly grilled.

Oh my goodness! Where do I begin?
First off, Mariyana, who is in charge of the private events, is amazing!
She was on top of things calling and emailing with final guest counts, food decisions, choices, any allergies, or special foods to be prepared. Mariyana WAS AMAZING!
She allowed some family members to come in early to set up my wedding reception.
Not only was she the coordinator, but she was our bar staff. I do not know if there was a steady line of drinks being poured, but she was a pro! If there was something that she had been asked for that she did not have, she ran downstairs to grab it (coffee, glasses, etc)
Super professional and so much fun. She was on top of the food when to serve or bring out extra appetizers. Super organized.
Look, I didn’t have to hunt her down asking for ANYTHING. She was just awesome.
The food - everyone LOVED the pizzas to start off with delicious!
We chose a buffet style as we wanted people to mingle and walk around talking to everyone. The food in the buffet was perfect. The homemade ravioli was the favorite, and the beef tenderloin was perfectly cooked. The whole roasted chicken was very delicious.
Overall, the friends and family and I had a wonder, beautiful time!

Food was fantastic! Great variety. Here for Mother Day and one of the toughest days with the crowds but our waiter Lucas. He killed it with his customer service and had a fantastic attitude! Well done! The world needs more staff like Lucas.

This is an excellent Italian restaurant with great food and service. A perfect size menu with good options and a wine list to.match. From the appetizer to dessert everything was cooked perfectly as you would expect. Take your family and friends and have a wonderful time.

was my first visit, and the Lasagna with meat was amazing. The sauce is a traditional Italian sauce. Everything was good, meat and size. I usually drink ginger ale, and the lady barista / bartender is kindness. She always asked if I want more or not. The music complements the ambience. The restrooms are new and clean. Perfect for a good time. The parking lot is front the building. It's better reserve or stay there early 5pm is you want to dinner. They have traditional bread, the lady ask you for the bread. She always has a particular menu, and she explains everything for you.

Amazing food and service! We really liked the Cruda pizza and clams & mussels soup. Usually crowded in the weekend nights, but cozy on the week days. Overall a great option for late evening eats.

Over all I can say I liked their food, sauce and presentation. Quantity was large and I personally prefer eating small but then that’s just a preference but definitely delicious food. It’s in Great location. It’s a cozy. There are few breweries around this restaurant which makes it better otherwise they serve alcohol too. One of the best thing about this restaurant and of-course all other around in this area is they have this lit up trees at night and it’s so welcoming. These guys also have sit out area I wish it was summer. Service is great. I mean the waitress was nice Italian accent. I may be wrong but I thought food took longer than I would have expected more so because it wasn’t crowded when I was there. There isn’t enough parking right outside the restaurant but there is enough around. I don’t thing anyone will ever drive away because of lack of parking.

Food was tasty, service was quick, and the atmosphere was a mix between modern and rustic. I liked that it had a fireplace in the center, outdoor seating for nicer weather, and seemed super clean! I would recommend as a place for a quick bite with friends and family for lunch or dinner. I had the minestrone soup and bruschetta - both were fantastic.

Great food and atmosphere! They have an outdoor patio and the Diavola pizza is outstanding.

Beautiful restaurant. Lovely atmosphere. Small well crafted menu. I do not recommend the basic martini. It was more bitter than I was expecting. Highly recommend the Ravioli.

Had a family dinner there on Tuesday night. The Ricotta Gnocchi with Vodka sauce was amazing! So light and fluffy! My husband had the Chicken Parm and he said it was very good. The service was excellent and just being in the dining room is relaxing. We had a wonderful time.

Very good neighborhood spot in Bloomingdale's old Town. The food and wine were delicious. The prices were reasonable and the atmosphere was mild. Try Alcentro Trattoria today.

Best wood fire crust pizza in this area. Lucas is an amazing waiter and we'll be asking for him next time!

They never disappoint! A few things to consider when you visit…
Apps - everything is great. Try the charcuterie board. Drinks - if you like dirty martinis, you’ll be very pleased. When I find a place that makes them well, I immediately know that the place is solid. If the bar staff is great, in my experience, the restaurant typically follows suit. It does.
A few more highlights:
Salmon with saffron risotto - AMAZING!!
Any of the gnocchi dishes are spot on and the gnocchi seems to be homemade… yep, it’s awesome.
Pizzas- made in the pizza oven and who doesn’t like pizza?
If you’re disappointed in this place, it can only be because the menu is a tad small. No complaints from me though. They’ve mastered all of their menu items and it shows.

The food is delicious. Its not cheap but worth it.

Food was excellent and the service was great. Will be back there soon to try more of their seafood.

Very good and original Italian food, this place is amazing. I suggest it if u wana eat like in Italy.

Went on here on a first date, sat a cozy little booth, which was perfect for our first date. Great food, great service!

The specials are always good. Great pizza and drinks . One of my favorites places to eat. A+
