This park is like a breath of fresh air. I love seeing all the different breeds of dogs and people walking their pups. It’s a very clean and well kept park. When I’m in the area, I will definitely be going back to this park. Great job Chicago!

is it just me or is Mr. Fredrick walking his pig on a shorter and shorter lead everyday? might have to take it up with the city because i’m starting to get concerned about Porky’s well being.

Great for dogs! Technically on leash but off leash is usually not an issue. Starting around 5pm is yappy hour and it's crazy at that time, so don't go then if you aren't a dog person.

Dog friendly, tranquil, beautiful park oasis in the heart of the Gold Coast. A nice place to sit on a bench or on the grass to read, meditate or enjoy the amazing Chicago skyline. A walk around the park is wonderful exercise too!

Beautiful park, especially in the summer! Really nice place to have a picnic or walk your dog. Also close to the Newberry Library.

A great place for some on leash doggy meet ups. You can almost always meet another dog at this park, no matter the time or day of the week. I have an older dog but he still loves to meet other dogs and meeting on leash is better for him. Nice park benches to sit and take a break and big trash cans to pick up after your dog. Perfect for every season.

A city oasis..dog and family friendly. A water feature.. tranquil.

Lots of hungry pigeons. Not too many angry birds. Benches. Grassy areas. Decent dog and people watching.

Beautiful park. Lots of benches for seating around the main fountain in the middle. Spacious park where no one bothers you. Lots of flowers. Being maintained with grass restoration rather than neglected. So many people bring their fur babies here and it’s a real treat to watch them all play together. Especially when you’re in between pet ownership yourself.

This park was so unique and so much for children to adventure.

This park is in my neighborhood. Newberry Library on one side, Moody Bible campus on the other. One Chicaho is a neighbor. So many people and pets here all the time along with a host of activities. Bring a chair or a mat!

Great dog friendly park!! There's always people here sitting around the fountain or on the lawn.

Wonderful spot for sitting out and taking in the city. Can get busy on petty days but never over-crowded. Being a dog-owner myself, I so appreciate the “bark bathroom” area. Just wish more owners would use it!

This park is lovely people picnicking, doing yoga in groups, walking their dogs sitting and reading the trees are large and old and offer a plenty of shade from the sun. The flowers are starting to bloom and cardinals nest in the trees singing sweetly. They offer music in the park in the summertime and doggy yoga with a separate area for pets to do their business in. It's so charming and such a historical Park across from the Newberry library.

Beautiful place. Someone was playing a lovely ditty on the public piano while I waited on a friend to join me at the Newberry Library.

A beautiful park with a fountain in the middle and an unbeatable John Hancock view from the West facing benches. I take my dog here quite regularly and it’s a good place for her to run off leash and meet her fellow canine friends. A serene park nestled in the hustle and bustle of the city.
