There's a difference between Tex-Mex and authentic Mexican food. There's a grocery store and meat market in the front of the store. As you walk through the store, you see authentic Mexican items. Keep going on you're in the restaurant. It tastes nothing like any of the restaurants in Fairview Heights, IL, or the neighboring area Mexican restaurants. Best food and service.

If you like real authentic Mexican cuisine, this is your place. How much more authentic could it get - its attached to a Mexican Grocery store. The staff was super friendly and even the grocery store staff was super friendly. The staff does speak English and Spanish. The food wasn't spicy unless you order it that way. They were quick with getting the food out to their customers. Friday evenings it does get full - so get their early.

This just might be the most Mexican place I've eaten at so far in or around St. Louis in all this time!

The food is really good. No cheese to ruin the flavours. You can distinguish the spices and ingredients used in each dish. We accidentally landed here because the actual destination was closed and stood right opposite.

The fresh Pico and birria pizza is absolutely 10 outta 10! Margaritas were good. Staff was friendly!

This place was amazing!! The enchiladas were the best I have had, my fiancé had a burrito the size of a football, the margaritas were delicious. Our server was super friendly and quick.

I had a great lunch here, I order the birria and it was fantastic and most importantly really authentic, it is hard to find place that use goat for birria. Our service was also really great.

I drive 45 min to eat here . Food,service and atmosphere is excellent. Bring a wheel barrow to get your self out the door because you will be full. Proportions are very filling and it is hard to stop eating as food is prepared fresh . I have NOT found a menu item I don't like .

It's my favorite Mexican food in the country...well another restaurant with the same name in Texas

We ordered this shrimp ceviche tostadas and Biria. We were craving Mexican food and we wanna make sure we had a great meal, this place didn’t disappoint. 100% will recommend. The staff were very friendly!

Also, if you need some groceries or wants to buy some Mexican candies… 🥰 this is the place for you!

Excellent Mexican food, with good drinks. The staff is friendly and there is a nice store attached that you can look through. Service is a little slow and it is off the beaten path however I highly recommend.

Probably the best seafood I ever had and I have family from louisiana bringing live crawfish and shrimp up for us to eat. Something about the way it's seasoned it's so different than cajun cooking, it was absolutely incredible.

I didnt eat here. Just went to grocery store . Which is fantastic . Filled with anything Mexican ingredients you could want and an amazing meat case .
I got the marinated skirt steak . I made steak street tacos and they were really really good .

Wow. So much better than the big town, cookie cutter Mexican food. This place was delicious! Quality food- no sodium overdose. I will definitely be back.

One of THE best Mexican restaurants in the St. Louis region. They have your tex-mex but a great selection of authentic cuisine as well. In addition, there is a great market attached. Don't let the location fool you, the establishment is well taken care of and it is 100% worth the visit. If you like Mexican food or are looking to try authentic options, this is the place to go
