These guys were great I emailed them for some more information on a Jeep Wrangler and I received all the information and more , my new Wrangler was the smoothest internet transaction I have ever experienced , I worked out the numbers on the phone with Kurt and dealt with Jimmy who also picked me up at the airport and made me feel very comfortable when I arrived to there location the Jeep was cleaner than I expected i would definitely recommend Highland , thanks again Keith

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! I "purchased" a Jeep Wrangler from Jim last night that I had seen on eBay. We agreed on a price and Jim asked for $250 towards the price of the car, the balance to be paid when I picked up the Jeep. I gave him the $250 deposit while I was still on the phone with him. It was charged to my credit card. He sent me a receipt, and guaranteed to me that the listing would be removed from eBay. Then I received an email from Mark, the owner of the dealership, this morning saying that they had sold the car to another buyer AFTER they had already charged my credit card. They are dishonest people and I would NEVER trust them again.

EDIT: Originally I had posted that they sold me a Jeep with a lien, but that turned out to be old (mis)information from IL SOS. I did finally get my title 7 months after purchasing, which is ridiculous. However, I do think most of the delays are due to IL SOS, not Highland.

That said, I'm still waiting for a hardtop and doorskins that were a part of the terms of the sale, and communication has been very poor over the last 7 months. Often multiple emails and phone calls have been completely ignored, and it's been an extremely frustrating experience.

If they end up fulfilling the terms of the sale, I'll increase my rating to 3 stars. I can't see a way to justify more than that.

Tried to purchase a Jeep over the phone with dealer. Gave them the deposit over the phone that they asked for with a debit card. They sold the car out from under us the next day.

We purchased a Jeep Grand Cherokee online, the it showed the car had 56k miles, when we received it, it had 59k miles.

Also advertised as no tips or tears in the leather, but there in a 3 inch tear in the drivers seat, which was not shown in any photos and not mentioned.

Also agreed to fill the tank, but it was delivered empty and filthy.

They will not return my calls or texts. Horrible customer service and very dishonest.

I purchased a jeep tj soft top with the understanding it was returnable, it received it in defective condition, now they're ignoring my request for a refund. They're crooks, spend your money elsewhere.

These guys are criminals. It turns out, after some investigation, that pretty much everything they sell here is conterfeit and made in good old China. I started looking a little closer at these fellas after I bought some Mercedes centercaps from them off of the 'Bay. They arrived in Mercedes-Benz packaging, but something seemed off with the printing, and the plastic stamping on the backs was crude and not exact. They were cheap potmetal, and not nearly as nice as the worn ones that I took off of my car. So I go to the dealer, and lo and behold, they tell me that they're not even good fakes- The Service Manager at MB San Diego told me that they were the worst replicas he's ever seen. He showed me a stock one, and sure enough, night and day. I paid $70 for these pieces of crap! So I start looking at these clown's feedback, and sure enough- TONS of complaints for counterfeting. Run, don't walk away from these bait-and-switch artists- It looks like everything they sell is a cheap Chinese knockoff, including the Jeep accessories; LOTS of negatives for fake tops as well. Definitely can't recommend these folks.

If you want your money stolen and want to deal with a garbage staff, then I highly recommend these guys. If you don't, then stay far away. Especially from Jim.
