Can't recommend them more - there is nowhere that I've found that provides better quality work and service. Sunny is amazing and always goes above and beyond. My family and I now live about 35 minutes from their location but we still make the drive becuase they are that good. It feels good to support their business - they deserve it and are well worth it!

I can't say enough good things about Bloomingdale's Cleaners! Not only are they friendly (they always remember us), on time and reasonably priced - they worked magic on my wedding dress! I had packaged my dress away after getting married and moving multiple times and had never gotten it cleaned/sealed (we're talking 6.5 years). I finally took it in to them (to get my mother off my back) with little hope that it would ever be restored to it's former glory. I was shocked - it looked like new! They got out 6.5 year old mud from my train and some brown water spots on the lace that I assume were from my poor packaging in the basement these past years. I couldn't believe it. They also had me come back after the cleaning/pressing to look it over before they packaged & preserved it. Talk about incredible service - most places just package it up and you hope it's been done correctly. First time I've ever raved about a dry cleaner, but they are truly incredible! We'll use them again and again!

I have only wonderful things to say about Bloomingdale Cleaners. My family has used their dry cleaning services for many years, and are always thrilled with the service. Alterations are great as well. Several years ago I needed a dress altered for an event on extremely short notice, and they were able to get it done for me in a pinch and did a fantastic job.
I'm very happy that Bloomingdale Cleaners is a part of our community!

I love Sunny (I think that's her name) as she's always wearing a smile! :D Drycleaning is always perfect and timely. Had my wedding dress altered here in 2008, cleaned, sealed/preserved in 2009. Definitely first choice.

Here it comes. The dreaded one star review. My reviews tend to skew positive because I am a relatively easy to please customer. That being said, when your customer service or product is atrocious, I would like people to know.

I took my winter wool coat in for dry cleaning and the clerk pointed out the buttons which were loose on my coat. She marked all the buttons with a white label from a tagging gun to sew.

I had work and class the day I was supposed to pick up so someone in my family picked up for me. When I got home to check, there were still 2 white tags over 2 loose buttons. Returning to the store, I was told that because, in their words, "I didn't talk to them about it, the didn't sew the buttons". Then why the hell would you mark all of the damn buttons?

I will definitely not be returning to this dry cleaner, who charges $15 for a heavy coat, with or without button sewing. My recommendation to everyone is to go to One Price Cleaners on Barrington who charge a third of this place and either learn to sew your own buttons or take it to a real tailor.

Had my son pick up my alterations and saw a receipt for $87.00. The receipt I was provided when I left my alterations was for $37.00. I had 3 summer dresses hemmed 2 to 3 inches each. I originally went there for the convenience of being close to home and a personal referral.

I called to ask about the charge discrepancy and was told that one of the dresses cost $50.00 to hem. The owner stated she told me she would charge me separately because she did not know how much work would be involved. I explained that I never heard her say that and had I known it would cost $50.00 to hem, I would've never had it hemmed. I could've had it hemmed for free from the store I purchased it from. But, I was pressed for time. She went on to say she charges by the yard and on and on. I told her all this information should have been disclosed before hand. Hope my $50.00 overcharge was worth it because she will never have a dollar of my business again. You can't lie to customers and think it's acceptable. Bottom line is if I had been told ahead of time, I would not have agreed to the service.
