Discount Tire

TL; DR: Excellent pricing and professional staff.

For 6+ months I researched a separate set of wheels and tires vehicle (to have separate winter tires and wheels). I found the ideal combination from Tire Rack. Now that Discount Tire and Tire Rack are now one entity, the ordering and installation process is hassle-free.

I chose to work with Discount Tire since I had several technical questions that were better answered in-person vs. over the phone. I worked with Jason directly over two visits. The first visit was to identify the wheel, tire, and TPM sensor combination that was compatible with my vehicle. Jason made sure my order was accurate and even made sure I took advantage of discounts for using the in-house credit card. At the second visit, the tires were mounted to the rims, sensors cloned, and then everything installed in half of the estimated time.

Overall: I'm glad I bought this tire setup from this particular Discount Tire location.

Since I cant add another review ill edit my previous. I got some screws in my tire and these guys fixed it for no charge. Everything turned out great. I will never use another tire shop. You guys have my business as long as you stay open!!

Fixed us up fast, friendly and I'd always recommend. Thank you for watching put for us, our tire needed plugged. We thought. Find out its the original tire from 2015. The only one i didn't replace. Whew, we had a trip on the toll way into Chicago the next day. They saved us alot of possible trouble! Thank you guys! 😊

Discount has been my go-to place for tires for a long time. I realize that they aren't a local place that I can support, but over the years, you gravitate to certain folks at these stores that just know how to take care of you, and that means more to me than anything else.

This location has a friendly staff for us since 2008, is convenient, and now that DTC has purchased Tirerack, it's easier to have DTC do the install, because the tires get shipped directly to the store. It's very convenient.

The only thing I did not care for is when you purchase through Tirerack, they offer a free replacement warranty, and then DTC offers a LONGER warranty. Had I known this, I would have foregone the Tirerack warranty and just purchased the DTC warranty. Don't make my mistake.

Lastly, scheduling via an appointment significantly reduces install time.

Jason was very helpful and did not dismiss my concerns. I made an appt online and was seen right away. My car was done in an hour of me arriving. Very satisfied this time.

Worked with Matt on 2 sets of wheels in the last month. Very helpful and friendly. I buy all my tires and wheels from the Oswego store and have had excellent results, will continue to do so.

I've been to the Oswego store twice and the customer service is on point!!!! The employees are knowledgeable and accommodating!! They really want to help you!!! Nice job!!!!

Highly recommend. Staff are courteous and professional. Had a repair that required over an hour to fix and arrived ten mins before closing - they didn’t give me a hard time at all, treated me great, and managed to find and patch the puncture - all for no charge. These folks are awesome.

They got me in as soon as they opened and I was done in 30 mins. World class service.

Super helpful and friendly staff. Great deals on tires and other services. And they totally hit their promised work times. I plan to revisit with my other vehicle.

Discount Tire has always been very reliable. Their appointments are on time, and the wait time is very reasonable. If you call ahead for an appointment you will be very pleased. Although they do welcome walk ins, I have noticed some people become impatient during their busier times. As a walk in you might be best off to drop off your vehicle and collect it when it's finished rather than wait on site.

I had a small nail in one of tires causing a slow leak, i purchased all 4 tires about 2 years ago all are in pretty good shape otherwise. The nail was close to side of the tire, i took it to Samsclub and another tire shop both suggested to replace the tire. On my way home I saw Discount Tires and thought to give it a try. To my surprise Discount Tires patched the tire free of charge, I was out of the shop in less than 30 minutes. Very satisfied with service I received and will definitely purchase next set of tire from here.

I had the BEST SERVICE thx to Bruno for assisting and helping me get the right tires for my car. Except I couldn’t help to notice how RUDE his supervisor Brad was to his coworkers and employees as well as SOME customers.

Mike and the servicemen were so helpful. They are not like most auto places and push unnecessary repairs. They were quick and made our stressful situation much better. Might I add that they did not take advantage of my mother and I. Rare to be female and not be talked to as if I possess no knowledge on cars. So pleased and 10/10 would return.
