Nobel House

We stopped in yesterday while our daughter was at a birthday party down the street. The service and food were awesome! We tried a couple different cocktails - the Azalea was delicious, and my husband loved the Porch Pounder. We tried the lobster ceviche and the burnt ends - our server recommended having the burnt ends with Alabama white sauce - it was all amazing. Can’t wait to come back and try more!!

Great place for a few beers and a game or if you want a fun atmosphere for a date night out. We have been a couple of times, but the vibe on weekend nights is great! Service was excellent, and the drinks were generous. The menu is a decent size with lots of great options.

I came in for lunch and have experienced carry out. The food is very well prepared. I got a salmon Caesar salad that was very flavorful, great crunch from the croutons, and wonderful grill marks on the flaky salmon. A must get! Chelsea is a wonderful bartender who is personable. Nice for a quick bite or longer, depending on your circumstance. However, prices are your typical suburbs price. 2 salmon Caesars and 2 beers near $80... they have other items that are more reasonable.

Oh my goodness the food here is good. Frequent haunt for me and my family. (The mac n cheese is my kid's favorite, and it's real stuff, not blue box at a mark up)

Came in with a party of 9 without a reservation on Saturday. Staff was very accommodating. Drinks were brought out quickly and so was food. Nice clean environment. Kelly was our server and she was excellent and very attentive. We also love Felice!!

We went to dinner here with our five and seven-year-olds and it was the perfect spot. A little noisy so nobody around us was annoyed by a couple of bouts of tears but not so loud that we couldn’t have a conversation. All of the food was tasty - especially the poutine appetizer that we added burnt ends to - though the Brussels sprouts were a little dry. I really loved my pulled pork sandwich and that it came with two types of bbq sauce. My kids were thrilled that their favorite items were on the kids menu - burgers and Mac and cheese. Overall, great family restaurant in Geneva, but cool enough for date night!

We are regulars! BBQ pork and burnt ends are fantastic and the Lobster Roll is my absolute favorite! They have the best Bloody Mary’s, too!

**lactose intolerance ((cheating)) review**

Went here for a bite after a long day of home remodeling. I am lactose intolerant and this place is one of my favorite spots prior to me developing intolerance. So after so much work that day I needed a treat and I wasn't going to let my intolerance stop me from getting a reward from a day of work. Taking a pill or two makes eating lactose tolerable for me.

We ordered the smoked poutine as a starter. It comes with cheese curds, fries, and smoked pulled pork. It's amazingly savory and salty. We all really loved it. I took a pill before eating this and picked out the cheese.

For my meal I got my favorite Nashville hot chicken. It was amazing. The chicken breading, sauce, and bread all have dairy in the mix. I took a second pill before eating this. This Nashville hot chicken is amazing. This is early one of my favorite sandwiches in all of the Fox River area. It tastes tangy, sweet, smokey, it has a kick, it's great.

I also had one seasonal beer.

The place has been remodeled since I've been there last and I was amazed by how nice it looked. They've done a great job. The dramatic portrait of Alfred Nobel in the front is amazing.

In all the food was great and so was the decor. The place was packed, for good reason, and my stomach felt fine.

Everyone is different when it comes to lactose intolerance so take caution if you are. For me, I was okay with 2 lactase pills.

Some of the best BBQ I have had in Chicagoland. Great drink selection and the portion sizes are ridiculous. Great for a night out or a family dinner.

We had dinner at Noble House, and it was absolutely delicious. We started off with the shrimp appetizer, and it was INCREDIBLE. It has a little kick, and I do not eat spicey food at all. However, this was the exception. We also enjoyed the flatbread. For dinner, we had the Grass Fed burger. For the sides, we had broccoli and brussel sprouts. The brussel sprouts were THE BEST we've ever had. I could've had that for dinner and been completely satisfied. The burger was very good, as well!
Noble House doesn't take reservations, but we only waited about 10 minutes for a table. Service was perfect, fun atmosphere, perfect date night spot!
I highly recommend Noble House, and if you go, you need to try the shrimp and brussel sprouts!

Awesome BBQ. Everything everyone got I wanted. Definitely need to comeback to try some Mac and cheese variants. Great service all around.

One of our local favorites. You can't go wrong with anything smoked in house. The build your own bowls are one of our favorites and have infinite possibilities. Ingredients are all fresh and thoughtfully put together into really spectacular combinations. If you want to Go rogue, you have infinite ways you can tweak your bowl to be perfect

Glen Ellyn was just shook by Nobel house. Awesome spot with really good food. Staff is on point, friendly and attentive. Beer selection is awesome. Lots of local crafts on tap.

Amazing burnt ends to start the meal and then blown away at how delicious everything was. Came back a few days later with more guest. A new favorite spot

This has become my regular go-to place to hang out and enjoy a drink and a meal. I cannot tell you how many times I have been here (although I'm sure Google can tell me) and I have tried almost everything on the menu and I love it all! Some stand outs are the burnt ends (delicious meat candy) and the lamb burger (something different they do really well!) and the North Carolina sauce. I also love their sides. Their veg sides are amaze-balls and I eat so many Brussels sprouts from here. The fun part is that this place made me like beer. The bad part is that I've had too much and have to stop drinking it. So much to recommend here!

Original 4☆ Review: I like the large selection of beers on tap plus their food is consistently good. Service slows down during the busy times, but it's generally a good fun atmosphere.

Had the Cubano with the house chips. Very good!! The atmosphere was great. Service was quick. Will be going back.

Went here on a recommendation while visiting, Very generous portions! Extremely attentive staff. My son ate a burger which he said was awesome, the onion rings are fantastic. My companion ate the pulled pork sandwich and had the side of bean which were excellent. I had the NoHo platter( or I attempted to eat it). You get 4 meats and 3 sides (VERY GENEROUS IN SIZE) compared to other BBQ places I have been. Will highly recommend them to anyone looking for that home smoked meal!

Food is good. Got the platter so we were able to try a few things. Server was good, our drinks were always full. Music was good.

Extensive menu. Loved the macaroni!!! The food presentation was excellent. Service was great.
