I had a great experience here. I was looking to buy a grill for my father for his birthday and the staff was very helpful with the process of buying it and having it delivered. They were even able to deliver it the same day. Very satisfied customer.

Honestly this store has made living in this area(St. Charles/geneva) amazing. I'm not the most knowledgeable individual when it comes to fixing things or yard work but every time I come in here everyone here is willing to help and goes above and beyond. This isn't a review for Lowe's in geneva but I'll never go back there. I moved here two years ago and used self check out and the old lady there asked to rescan my items because their system sometimes messes up and sets the alarm off. So before even trying to leave the store the lady rescanned all my lamps and I went along with it but felt very disrespected. No surprise all my items were properly paid for and I was on my way. Well today I didn't catch your name but the lady at Ace Hardware today made me feel more welcomed in this town than anyone I've ever met. Asked me to bring my dog in next time and ask all kinds of questions about my life and honestly made me happy to live here. Home depot does a good job as well.

After 3 visits to Menards, one to Home Depot, and one to Lowe's, I was still not able to find the series of plumbing connectors I was looking for. I swung by Ace as it was on my way to dinner. The problem stumped the Ace guy for a bit, as none of the plumbing attachments would fit the two outlets I have. Then he thought outside of the box/plumbing isle, disappeared for a second, and reappeared with a flexible tube that fit, needing only one adapter. The other stores had the tube, but the Ace guy had the knowledge and experience to apply it to my situation. Next time I encounter a tricky project, I'm going to Ace first!

A hardware store to a man is like a temple where we go to contemplate solutions for problems that we have at home. Problems that can be solved by purchasing this and that. Search the aisles, scanning the shelves, storing data for future solutions.
Clerks are friendly and helpful. The store is clean and uncluttered. Shopping here is a delight. They have anything you need and everything you want.

I love this store, all of the hard to find small screws and hardware for my vast projects I can always find here. The staff is super knowledgeable and nice. I had a ton of glass cut recently, my project turned out fantastic! This Ace is the Place!

Any hardware for home and even some for institutional usage will be found here, many items not carried by the big stores are found at Ace hardware, ever since I have been going to this brand I have found also very valuable advise, (given the fact that i do maintenance work, they at times have very valuable insight on materials and or procedures). I am sure that most homeowners will benefit from their service.

I needed a small part ( a cotter pin and bolt). The only thing available had multiple holes and was too long. They helped me first find the part that would work, and then offered to cut it down and polished it. It worked perfectly. Sale $1.75, Service (worth $1,000,000,000). We needed an item and ordered it online. One of the clerks was kind enough to bring the item out to our car and put it in the trunk. As senior citizens, we really appreciated the customer service.

Always buy our Scott’s 4 step here better product than you can buy at big box store. Love the local feel of this store. Team is always helpful. Always get our propane filled here too. When I need a specialty product this is where I go. Got my favorite USAF hat here and my hammock as well. Love the popcorn machine so does my little girl when she comes shopping with me. This is our local hardware store.
