Morris Illinois Secretary of State Facility

THANK YOU to the staff at the Morris facility. I went in on 5/6/2024 to get a new license and was in the facility for little while. While there, I saw them interact with many people requiring different things and it was all friendly and professional. A big shout out to Juana, Pearl and Terri (not sure of spelling) for making this another easy experience for me.

I made my appointment online and got in and through relatively quickly!

Of course most DMVs have horrible reviews lol. Jesse White was about as useless of a "politician" as it gets.

Regardless, I went to the Morris DMV today and had a great experience. I was helped by "Deb" and "Pearl". Both were incredibly friendly. The officer at the front door was also friendly! He got up for every senior citizen that walked up to the door, so that he could open it for them.

I was in and out in 20mins for a title transfer, new plates, and new stickers....so compared to Joliet? I saved about 3 hours of my time LOL.

I have to say that this was a very quick trip to get a vehicle sticker renewal. I arrived about a half hour before opening. . there was a line but once they opened I was out in 15 minutes. Very efficient system. Pearl was fast with my transaction. As you can see in the picture the line was very long.

Nice organized place. Just needed to show my CDL certificate. Took about 20 min on a Thursday. This is the new facility behind the Wal-Mart.

Awesome. Went there to report my CDL Medical evaluation. In and out in 10 minutes. Nice and very professional people.

I came to Take a second and third test for CDL and since I got in they were very nice and respectful. Patty, Terri and Denise who help me very funny and sweet I also saw her treating a Spanish speaking person only with the most respect. I also tried to help because I speak Spanish and she was so grateful. Thank you to her and her cop workers which they were funny and helpful. Kudos to them. Thank you for making my day easier and make me feel good without fear. 😍🥰😘

It's the DMV. They do their jobs. Make sure you bring all of your required documents, arrive for your appointment ON TIME, and they will take care of what you need.

literally a go-to for the road test. after being LITERALLY INSULTED AND MADE FUN OF AT THE JOLIET DMV, the morris dmv was very kind and treated me well. i ended up passing my road test on the very first try at the morris dmv. all the staff are lovely women and they have huge and kind hearts, and it's a smaller environment which i personally appreciate. the only flaw with this place is that i had my appointment at 12 and i wasnt on the road until 1, but the wait was definitely worth it. also, if your driving instructor is denise, she is such a nice and wonderful lady to work with. talked about life after the road test was complete. best DMV experience i had hands down.

Best DMV in Illinois! They don't play around and were super fast in taking care of me. Just make sure to have an appointment, follow the rules, and you'll be good. Great people, by the way.

Headed down to Morris as they don't take appointments. Got there and there was a line of around 35 when it opened. 1 hour later I was heading out and there were no people outside. Pretty impressive as they kept us all moving. All the workers there had a great sense of humor and were very patient... Especially with the people who could not hear well. Really well run and Denise took care of me and was very kind and patient. It was worth the drive to me.

I lived in Morris for a time. During that time that I lived here, this was the Secretary of State facility (DMV for the rest of the world?) that I used to purchase my license every year.

I can fairly confidently say that, for the purpose just stated, this place for the job done. I remember coming in, waiting a little while, then paying and getting my new license stickers for the year. The whole process was fairly quick and simple.

If I still lived in Morris, I could see coming here again for the same purpose, perhaps to also get a new License at the appropriate time. The facility was clean, the employees had the appropriate level of helpfulness and interest in getting my issues resolved, and my visits were never overly long. Thanks for being a place to get driving services in the state of Illinois.

In the past It’s always been a gamble how long you may have to wait for service. Today was the first time I used the appointment system and I was pleasantly surprised at how quick the service was. The people were all pleasant and the place wasn’t packed shoulder to shoulder with people seated and standing outside waiting for service. In fact I think there were only 6 well spaced waiting chairs and only 1 person seated. We walked in at our appointment time and were waited on immediately never having to sit and wait. The appointment system looks like it’s a big win for customers and DMV employees alike. The Illinois DMV web site was easy to use and made it easy to sign up for an appointment. Thank you

Quick in and out for DL renewal. Very friendly, oh and no appointment. That will change, after September 1st you will need an appointment for the same transaction.

So if your looking for a great DMV, go to Morris, Illinois facility. Such nice people!! The manager Chris talked with me for about 20 minutes. I could not go in with the kids. She was so awesome! She explained the whole process, kept an eye on them in the facility and was so encouraging to the kids!! You can tell by all her employees and the facility she is a great manager. Both women that did the road test with my children were super nice and made them feel so comfortable because obviously they were nervous. The guy inside doing their paperwork was friendly and helpful. Even the security guard Steve was nice. He had a small radio outside playing fun, upbeat music!! Talking with everyone. They had someone come out to keep checking on people and explaining about the wait times and answering questions. There were several people in line with us that were in agreement on how fast, professional and friendly everyone was today!!! We got there at 2:30 and by 4:30 we were driving home!!! 2 kids, 2 hours!! Thanks Chris and the Morris Illinois DMV Staff!

The entire process of renewing my license and taking the road test couldn’t have gone more smoothly! There was NO waiting line (I was expecting one); a very courteous young man greeted me at the door; Terri, a lady with an upbeat & happy personality, checked my documents and took my picture; a nice young fellow registered me; the cashier was also very pleasant; a cordial gentleman, Jason, administered the road test. Smooth as silk! Total time—one hour!

Absotively Posolutely Fantastic service. Cane to move my CDL from Missouri back to IL Appointment was at 4:10pm i was about 10 minutes early. I was outta there in less than 15 minutes, Im talking the entire process. Great place
