The Weathervane Restaurant & Lounge

Went on Halloween which is a very busy day for them. Didn't have reservations but they were kind enough to get us set up on the back deck. We had three kids with us so it was perfect for them to play. Our waitress was phenomenal. She checked on us frequently even though we were out of the way. I highly recommend this place. Everything was super yummy.

Excellent food and service! Baked haddock and sweet potato mash was delicious! Chicken cordon blue with regular mashed potato was also super! Cheesy shrimp dip for an appetizer was awesome!!

Brunch was awesome. Mimosa flights, bacon spinach quiche, prime rib for breakfast, chocolate chip waffles with strawberries, Throw in fantastic friendly service.

We held our employee Christmas Party here yesterday and it was the most amazing time ever! The service TOP notch , the food to die for , the space was perfect! June, John and their staff made this a very special party for myself and staff. As we are also in the restaurant industry we know exactly what goes into it!

A buffet style meal that was hot and delicious. Fish , chicken , mac n cheese, meatballs and so much more . Enough for my entire staff and family to even bring some home!

Live music including Christmas Songs by the fireplace making it such a cozy feel!

First time there, but definitely not the last! It was a great experience, excellent food (I had the Waldorf salad), and terrific service even though there were 26 of us for lunch. Our waitress never missed a beat! She was very efficient and patient, and handled all the orders as if each was the only one she had to take care of.

This gem, set out in the country a few miles from Augusta, is the kind of place you tell your friends back home about. The menu is eclectic and thoughtful, the preparation and flavor were absolutely fabulous, the service was knowledgeable and the view of the lake was a beautiful context. Ask for a table outside in the summer, it will be worth it, and order the seafood casserole if it’s on special. It is worth every penny!

The food is always great (fresh, hot, properly cooked)!! The service is absolutely spectacular!! I gave 3 stars for the atmosphere because the last time I dined there, they had a musical duet set up in the corner by the fireplace & moose. The 3 star rating is not for the quality of the musicians. It's for the sound factor. Our table was about 10-15' away, and we could not have a dinner conversation due to the sound. Our excellent waitress kindly moved us, but the restaurant layout is really not conducive to having music playing while dining. It was still pretty loud after moving further from the source. I love music during dinner, but I prefer something that is soft and in the background and doesn't drown out a lovely conversation with friends.

I can't recommend this place enough.
I called for a party of 10-15 people on a Friday for us on Saturday lunch. Not only did they fully accommodate my group, they didn't with a smile, providing great service. One of our group ordered something off script, and one of the kitchen staff came out to verify and make sure they got it right, way above and beyond. Absolutely recommend and it's now my go to for dinner and lunch.

Great local restaurant and bar. The menu offers a good variety, and they offer specials that are always changing. Check out the bar downstairs and karaoke night!

Been there 3 times, sat downstairs, upstairs, and sat out on the deck this last time. Service, food, and atmosphere have been great each time. Lots of food and drink choices, very attentive and pleasant staff.

The Food was so good and the drinks were even better...There was a great selection of House made Cocktails....Julie was our waitress so nice and helpful! Very friendly great service!

I do Karaoke. I’m only 18 so no drinking. Very nice place, very welcoming, nice staff and almost never any trouble. No bar fights, no arguing, no horrible drunk people. Very good about my service dog as well

Great place to hang out and have a awesome time. Good bar and food. The people are friendly and can tell you all about the town and what to go see. The price of the food and drinks is a great value.

Yes, the food is good but the service is outstanding. We had Trudy as our server and she way beyond helpful, attentive and gracious. She, and the other staff too, were just so kind and cheerful. Trudy’s service tonight was the epitome of fantastic customer service!

I had the delicious prime rib! Soo good. But now I have to go back for some of the other items on their menu.

The restaurant was extremely busy when we were there. We were treated Very well. They brought us rolls to eat while we were waiting for our food. Very friendly staff, food was excellent. Their side salad was amazing. And I loved the fresh flowers of the table.

The Weathervane has definitely improved in quality over the years. There are many more options on the menu and everything is very tasty. As a vegetarian I appreciate that they have options for me, and while it's a bar they also offer non-alcoholic beer.

Had a fabulous lunch today at the weathervane ! The turkey club is perfection
