The service at Abbey, (Kent, Bob, Sheila) is second to none for selecting the right product for the home, for being up front, and for trusting them. The installers, Matt and T.J. were very professional, caring for the surrounding areas in the work space, and hard workers. Overall they did a stellar job, and the carpet they laid down did wonders for the room. Thanks again, I plan to have these folks redo my kitchen floor!!! Two years ago I had Kent and Abbey Design Center and his most accomplished installers (Matt and T.J.), redo my kitchen floor as stated in this earlier review after installing carpet down the basement stairs, and a room in the basement. Well, just recently, in the first week of November 2020, I had the ultimate makeover and masterpiece created by the master flooring artists of Matt and T.J. of Abbey Design. As you will notice in the photographs posted here, with this recent edit of my review, are images of my front entryway from the front door, near the living room, and crossing through the dinning room and down the hallway to bedrooms and bath. Kent came to the house (we all had face masks to be safe with the virus) and with his always expert advise came up with the right color stain with the wood floor and other solutions to making this the best possible final masterpiece. Matt and T.J. out did themselves with this latest install, not only their work ethic, fine conversation, and all around very fine young men. We kept our distance and masks for safety in this current Covid situation. Today I give 6 stars out of 5 for flooring choice, installing, and all of the very fine staff and (Kent and Sheila), at Abbey design, many many thanks! P.S. I should have done this makeover a long time ago...

Very easy to work with and knowledge. We wanted a carpet that would hold up to foot and dog traffic and the carpet they helped pick is definitely holding up! The installation crew was top notch and respectful. If you have carpet needs I would recommend visiting them.

Fantastic people. Everyone on the job was excellent. We were a little concerned going in, having had a bad experience with a different installer on another hardwood floor installation in our previous home. No worries at all with this crew. They’re professional, knowledgeable and take their time to do it perfectly. My wife and I are very happy with the work and we both highly recommend Abbey Design Center. We’ll be going back for the carpet next. :)

Our experience with Abbey Design Center was 5 Stars from the time we walked in their door to get ideas for upgrading our flooring to the day our project was completed. Heather suggested the perfect vinyl plank flooring for our home office, and helped us decide on beautiful carpeting for our living room, sun room and master bedroom. Our project had several pieces that included some electrical work and refinishing of our hardwood floor. Kent met with us to coordinate the project and Heather sent us a schedule. It all went like clockwork. They took care of everything down to the last detail. Matt and TJ did a great job installing the flooring, and Seth made our hardwood floor look beautiful again. We highly recommend Abbey Design Center for all your remodeling needs!

Our experience with Abbey was great from start to finish. The sales people at the store were very helpful, informative and friendly. Kent , the owner, was terrific at explaining how he came up with his estimate to purchase and have carpet installed and helping us through the final selection process. The carpet came on time and the installation timing was as promised. The installation took two days and both Matt and Jerome were very nice, helpful, and the best thing was that they did a beautiful professional job! We are SO pleased with our total experience at Abbey Carpet!! Kent was extremely helpful in finding samples to fit our budget and needs, and we received timely updates through the whole process. Matt and TJ were our installers and were so friendly and did a great job!! They cleaned up and explained all they were doing. We were so impressed with working with the Abbey Design Center in Osseo; the owners, the contractors and the showroom staff! They are very professional, committed to helping us with decisions, friendly, and all were very hard working and we were so very happy about how beautiful our decks turned out! Couldn’t be happier!

We were extremely happy with the results that Kent and Abbey Carpet provided. We needed a major kitchen remodel, new cabinets, counter tops, lighting and a wine refrigerator!

Their team did a great, high-quality job. We were very pleased. Not only was the work very professional and well done, but the people themselves were a pleasure to work with, service-centered approach, personable and just nice to deal with.

Kent also took care of the small things, like some touch-up painting and a thorough clean-up after each day. As a home owner, that’s one less thing we had to be concerned with.

Again, they did a great job, the kitchen looks fantastic, nice upgrade! And the win refrigerator has been much appreciated!

Abbey's just finished our flooring throughout our apartment.. Kent was just an amazing person - he guided us through the whole decision making - telling us what looks good and what other customers chose.

The flooring has been laid so beautiful and very different from the norm - we are now having some of the people in our bldg. coming over to look - they are so impressed. They have pointed out the unique look!!!!!

Before we even made any decisions, I would stop in while they were working in other apartments. I had the opportunity to chat with Jerome, Matt and I don't know the 3rd person's name. They always took the time to answer my questions. This meant a lot because this is how we based our decision to go with Abbey's.

One concern was moving the furniture - they do all the moving of furniture etc.

The crew worked around our schedule - it was great!!!!

We are 100% satisfied!!!!!

We highly recommend Abbey's.

Kent, I think you can sell a $2.00 bill for a $1.00 bill. Frank said that you could sell snow to an Eskimo!!!!

Kent and the crew did a complete kitchen remodel and the quality of the work and the attention to detail is topnotch. I also had Kent replace my old insulation with spray foam insulation which was an add on that was necessary once they got into the attic space. Even with the unplanned for insulation work they completed the project in the stated window. I love my kitchen and will use these guys again for my next project. Kent and his crew are very neat, were careful to tape off other areas of the house, and also protected my wood floors while working. I highly recommend Abbey Design Center.

Abbey Carpet in downtown Osseo was wonderful to work with from the showroom floor to the installation. Pleasant to work with, considerate and they take pride in their work. Had my wood floor taken up and reinstalled correctly as the previous installer didn't use the right glue and it was coming loose. Abbey tackled this extensive project with care and quality work. Looks like a new floor plus they upgraded the floor registers to sit flush with the floor. Then it was 2 days of carpet install. The carpet I choose has a sculpted pattern and they did so good a job of matching the pattern at the seams that even though I know where the seams are suppose to be I have a hard time finding them. Thanks goes out to the whole team at Abbey Carpet, they will be my first call for all future projects in my home.

I have had Abbey Carpet's Kent and his team do much of the flooring in our home over the past several years. I love working with Kent on creative ways to design carpet and flooring. Our kitchen and mudroom needed new flooring, I called Kent. He came out, we looked at samples and discussed the design. Before Kent was able to start the flooring project, my husband and I decided to make our bathroom handicapped accessible. Both projects began September 1. They worked quickly to tear up the floors in mudroom, kitchen, eating area, front entryway and bathroom. We were thankful that there was good weather, as we had to eat out on the deck or porch. When we had out-of-town company coming, Kent and his crew worked extra hard to make sure I was able to use my kitchen. The final touches were put on the projects on November 1st. We really appreciated the respectful, kind, generous, and hard-working team of Matt, TJ, and Jerome. The team does excellent, top quality work and we love our new bathroom and flooring. We had a very large carpeting project in our house. Kent and Sheila were a pleasure to work with. They were very thorough in educating us about the entire process but never once did we feel pressured into anything. We ended up going with them because we were certain they would take good care of us. Matt and his installation crew were great. It was clear that our business meant to a lot to the entire Abby team. So far we couldn’t be happier with the results!

After 18 years I finally decided on new living room carpet. Since it had been a long time since I shopped for carpet I decided to go to Abbey Carpet. I wanted a store that I know the staff actually knows flooring. I am so glad I did. They listened patiently, answered all my concerns and helped choose what turned out to be exactly what I wanted. The schudule worked perfectly, the installers arrived exactly on time and did a perfect job. It couldn't have been better and I love the carpet. We have purchased carpets from Abbey Carpet for a number of rooms in our house. In our last house, we went with a big inexpensive place and it was a horrible experience. When we moved into our new house 10 years ago, we did our research and went to Abbey Carpet. We have been impressed with both their quality and service. We used their service multiple times over the years and will continue to do so as our carpets need to be replaced.

This is our second experience using Abbey Carpet. The owners and staff are very knowledgeable, professional and provide good customer service. Matt was the lead installer on both our projects and he is fantastic to work with. Always goes above and beyond.

Kent and the team at Abbery Carpet in Osseo are hands down the best in the business. I stopped in one night 15 minutes before they closed with an impossible task. I needed carpet installed in a bedroom in 10 days to accommodate furniture delivery for the room. Not only did we narrow it down and pick out the 3 best options, they called the next day and let us know our top choice was ordered and would be installed the day before our furniture was delivered. And here we are on installation day with nothing but positive things to say. Matthew and the installation team were professional, courteous, and FAST! The laminate planks were ripped up and disposed of, the carpet was laid inthe bedroomand then the walk in closet, and they were done - all in about 3 hours. It was fantastic!! We’ve gone the cheap route with other companies before - never again. These guys will get all of our future business. They are the best!!

I'll preface this by saying I won't bother writing a review unless something really stands out for better or worse. In this case I can honestly say I have never in my 33 years been this impressed with a service. From beginning to end they went above and beyond my high expectations. From initial help with design from Sheila and Zach. Coming to my home to help with integrating my tastes with what is "in" with the design world. Coming up with helpful ways to blend the new with the old. I wouldn't have a home this nice without their help. The workmanship from Kent is second to none. He spent the extra hours to make sure everything was perfect and went so far as to clean my carpet when my dog had an untimely accident. I didn't ask him to do it or even so much suggest it. It shows what kind of company you are dealing with, and the character of those working on your home. It is a family run business and they treat you like family. I know if any issues were to arise they would make it right. That being said the house looks beautiful and I feel good supporting a local business. If you want bargain basement prices you can go roll the dice with a big company. You get what you pay for. The quality of what they install brings as much value as anywhere I shopped around. I couldn't be happier and would recommend them to my family.
