Great place for a Sunday night! Good live music and environment. Hot dog was good too. Definitely recommended and will be back

If you are looking for a dog-friendly restaurant, look no further. Both Maisie and I were welcomed warmly on New Year's Eve. I enjoyed some appetizers and an old-fashioned cocktail on the patio.
Staff was friendly and welcoming both to me and my dog. It was the perfect spot for us. We will definitely return. The food was good atmosphere was great. If you want a great experience going out with your pet. I highly recommend this place! :-)

I love this place! It reminds me of home in the Upper Peninsula. If you haven’t experienced the owners hospitality, the food, music, and the atmosphere, you are missing out.

Live music on the stage, great blues. Good drinks not at all expensive. Friendly staff and friendly crowd. Great place to go with someone, friends, or to just hang at the bar.

Nice venue. Good food. The food was more sophisticated than I would have ever expected. My shrimp and pasta dish was delicious. My son's burger was fresh and we'll made. They also had live music. I am glad we had dinner there.

A friendly, family-friendly tavern with good food (although a somewhat limited menu) and local beers. Best is the evening entertainment and afternoon jam sessions played by very talented local musicians. The only negative is that the ceiling is very high, which results in a noisy atmosphere. Another negative for some people is that it's not wheelchair accessible.

They host GLAMA (Great Lakes Acoustic Music Association) pub jam every 4th Thursday of the month. Great time of some great acoustic music. Thanks Old Dog 👏

On a Wednesday the Old Dog had live music. Actually it was a big line-up. We enjoyed the music, drinks (wide assortment of beers) and food. Nice staff, very friendly. Oh… don’t go there if you expect high class shiny marble floors. The floors are perfect the way they are. old Dog style! Love it.

This is a great place to hang out with friends. It has exposed brick walls and old hardwood floors. The bars are old carved wood. They have a good selection of bourbons and beers. There is a nice open outdoor seating area too. I remember this place when it was Kraftbrau. If you are looking for a good time, stop in with some friends. This is a great historic Kalamazoo building.

Great atmosphere! Open mic night on Tuesday is fun! Also, the pizza is delicious!

Great place, I love the name, delicious burgers, the pickles were nice and crispy. We were there for a great live performance by a musician.

Amazing vintage building, great food and delicious drinks! Loved seeing Preston Lyfords magic and Dylan Tolberts music on the night we were there. The bartender also made me a special drink that he worked up and it was amazing! Can't wait to come back! Looking forward to trying the pasties! They have great flannel shirts too!

We got there early just after 4:00 when they opened. Had a nice time relaxing, having a couple beers and the best pasty I've ever had. Staff was very congenial.

Pasties were great! So was the music and pizza.
Not to mention 3 bucks for a Hamms tall boy!!

Old building. Great food. Just had a huge spinach salad. Veggie explosion pizza is our favorite. Huge back deck and music stage.

Great food, great atmosphere. Live music is a plus. Check out this gem for local music, drinks, and a great staff. And when it's warm out, the back area, eclectic with all it's art--including the stage itself which is quite rustic--is something everyone should put on their kzoo bucket list.

Really enjoyed this classic 'tavern' bringing you everything you can expect from a quality bar offering bright energy of live music and good people!
