PFC Natural Grocery & Deli

Fairly small but mighty natural/organic store. Good selections in most areas, includes fresh packaged Otto's chicken and Thousand Hills packaged beef, Victorian bakery bread. The store is relaxed, always clean and well tended. Parking lot is spotless. Large number of bulk items including numerous spices. Fridays, rotisserie Otto's chicken is available in the afternoon, check before you make a special trip. No membership is required. Have fun!

PFC is a great place to get pretty much everything I need. I love the size, the community, and that they walk the talk with local products. Check them out sometime. (It's so worth going a bit out of your way).

Really great local store. It may look small on the outside however once you walk in you will love to walk around and see what they have. Fresh fruit and veggies, bulk items, canned goods, frozen and refrigerator items, salad bar and a hot lunch bar. They have vegan, vegetarian and meat items throughout the store. Great variety and owned by many locally. Awesome customer service.

Great for shopping but not for charging EVs what with big rigs frequently blocking stations and refusing to move.

Friendly and helpful staff, excellent bulk section, broad variety of local fruit and produce, delicious hot bar, and a strong craft brew selection.

A bunch of local selections, they include where everything is from which is super cool, they also have a huge selection of bulk dry goods like rice and spices and some pastas too. Honestly best grocery store in kalamazoo. You can also fill 5 gallon containers of water here

I really enjoy stopping into this business every chance I can. They offer a wide variety of organic and Gluten Free foods. I tried one of their Oatmeal Chocolate Bars that were Gluten Free at the last visit. It was delicious.

A great part of the local community. Interesting variety of groceries on the shelves. I highly recommend the vegan Reuben. I get it every single time.

Bathrooms are always clean and stocked.produce is local, fresh, and decently priced. So many options for people with food allergies! They carry halal and kosher products as well. The hot bar is wonderful! Prices are good. Higher than meijer or Walmart of course but for a very good reason! Clean local produce and food medicine and health products that won't poison you. Music is great.
In house coffee shop. Fresh grinding of coffee. Kombucha on tap. Water machine. Bulk goods. Cooking classes. The staff is Always courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful! This is a great place to be! I recommend if you live in the area becoming a member/part owner. For a 250$ pay in you get discounts, coupons, and other bonuses for life! You can pay monthly or when you come in put down a small amount on your tab. I have been a member/owner for over 20 years and the cost savings is huge!!!

Update 5/9/23

As of this update, Factory Coffee doesn’t seem to be operating a kiosk in there anymore, however Water Street coffee has opened up a location next door.

This is a gem of a business. Everything from the staff, the selection, and the grab and go section is a chef's kiss of its own. My favorite has to be the breakfast burritos - I've tried them all and they are all delicious and also healthy. Factory Coffee being in there now is a bonus for me, as I can get all my breakfast stimulants in one place. Thank you PFC for making me look forward to my KZoo commute.

They have a lot of delicious goodies that other healthy stores don't have, at good prices! Super awesome place, highly recommended. If you shop there a lot, consider investing in being an owner! Investing in your local community is worth it and you can get some bonus discounts that it pays for itself quickly

I am a regular for past 2 years and they are fantastic. The staff is great and I am sure that is not easy to make a leaving from a small store. I am officially PFC owner and very proud that I finally decided to support them. May be they don’t carry 1000s of items, but what they have on shelf is local and good quality. Can’t wait for the summer, I always like to stop during my biking trip on KRVT have a drink or a sandwich.

I love shopping here not only for the quality of food but because I know that I am supporting local people. I want to know that my quality of food is as important to the grower. I know the quality of meat and dairy products also show the care of the people who raise them. There is nothing like fresh whole milk in a glass container to drink or cook with.

This place is exactly what you expect local: fruit, veg, eggs, and meat! They might not have "everything" but they have most of the basics. Very clean and friendly. Community oriented, this is place to go to support local. For what they trying to be (it's not a mega store), 5 stars, can't see them doing much better.

My favorite grocery store! I love the friendly staff and fellow shoppers. It's the best place in town to find locally grown produce and other locally produced items. I love spending my money at a place owned by over 3000 fellow community members, and appreciate all the ways PFC gives back to our community.

High quality. A bit more expensive than large chains but they have good staff and lots of selections for vegans and vegetarians. More importantly, they take masking and a safe shopping experience seriously. Highly recommend.

My favorite local grocery store. The Russian Cabbage soup they have in the hot bar is just amazing. You will love it! I enjoy stopping in for a quick salad from the salad bar. The roasted chicken on the hot bar is another favorite. Look for great local picks in the produce department. Blueberries, strawberries and cherries right now. Thanks PFC!

It was May 8th...bout 5 in the evening..
I visited PFC and when I tell you I've never been more pleased with a grocery store!
From the moment I walked in I knew I was in the right place it was clean the manager on duty was very helpful professional and the whole staff was just loving and welcoming!!
Now let's talk about the selection of delicious organic products!
You see, I'm a Trucker and I'm just visiting here in Kalamazoo and my trailer is getting loaded about a mile away so I decided to come over here after looking them up on Google and I'm almost in tears that I have to leave😓 Staying healthy while on the road is very important to me Although I can be a challenge from time to time because many of the places I drive to don't have anything natural or organic everything out here today is pretty much poison or toxic but this little grocery store right here just made my day!!! And if you're looking for some place to shop that's going to keep your family healthy and happy you found the right place!!
