Rocket Fizz - Soda Pop and Candy Shop

if you're not engaged by this place while walking down the street you must not like "fun!" Rocket Fizz Kalamazoo has everything under the sun to make your family happy, smile and say to themselves they had a great vacation!! the prices are uncanny and we got plenty of stocking stuffers for the kiddos this holiday season!! Truly brightened our day just walking in the place and a much better location than Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg, about 5 minutes from where I'm sitting and typing right now......"honey, can we go back to Kalamzoo?'

I always love visiting Rocket Fizz whenever given the chance! This one was no exception either. I stopped in here to get some birthday treats for my cousin and they had such a great selection of items just for that! They have so many different candies (new and old), sodas, international snacks, gum, and everything in between. The staff here was a delight as well as they had such a great customer oriented vibe. The prices were pretty reasonable too considering this isn't a Walmart or discount store. Overall, this is a great Rocket Fizz location and I really enjoyed shopping here.

We came in with thoughts of taffy, soda, and sugary chaos and got exactly that. The staff was very nice and were able to provide a dietary list that could help us pick out our candy but they did caution us that the list was not comprehensive and that was ok for our needs. It is better than the Wanka Factory, in my opinion, and we had a blast looking at all the funny items and loading our baskets! My sister really knows how to load her taffy bag! It really was a great time and I hope to go back again someday!

Awesome candy shop; so fun to bring my little and show him some international delights and old time favorites. It was also super fun to look at the assortment of interesting sodas, etc. A little pricey but it is specialty and downtown prime location. Worth a stop!

Jess, went above and beyond the call of duty Friday the 5th and Saturday January 6th. My Granddaughter was in the process of having my Great Grandson. Instead of handing out the Traditional it's a Boy Cigars she wanted to hand out Blue Jolly Ranchers. Jess, preformed Magic. I have always loved Rocket Fizz, this act of Perfection definitely made the arrival extra special. Shortly after I picked up the Package, my Grand Daughter had to have an emergency C-section. Healthy 8#5oz. .
Again, Rocket Fizz is Phenomenal.

Rocket Fizz is one of the most fun little shops in Downtown Kalamazoo! It has a crazy large assortment of candies and sodas. I like to try different flavors of Japanese Kit Kats and salted crickets. But don't worry- they have scores of more traditional delicious treats!!!
They also sell funky metal signs and neat little random toys and gifts, like mood rings.
The employees there are helpful and kind.

Such a fun place to find vintage unique and foreign candies! Loved looking through so many things! Could spend hours in there!

Huge selection of weirdness! Definitely a "must visit" location. We bought a case of various sodas; including a pickle flavored pop! Just a fun little store. We'll definitely be back.

Super fun place to visit! They have throw back candies and soda flavors of all kinds! The workers are very friendly as well. I had a blast coming here.

It is a fun throwback shop with a variety of candies, sodas(Pop to the locals) and lots of novelty items. I was most impressed by their soda collection amd couldn't pass up some of the odd ones.

Rocket Fizz is amazing! All the candy from your childhood and then some. Lots of fun toys and signs too. Many spectacularly weird and wonderful soda flavors are available. You can also return the empty soda bottles here when you are done. Plus, the staff is always super welcoming and friendly. We always stop in when we are downtown and end up finding new cool stuff every time. Don't miss coming here!

It's an amazing candy shop with unique candy from all over the world I love it and every time I'm downtown I always try to stop by and visit:)

The clerk was delightful on the phone and in person. She was so knowledgeable about the Rocket Fizz brand.

Rocket Fizz is a great place, the staff is friendly and they have a huge selection of unique soda and candy. I just wish they had a bigger selection of sugar free soda.

This place is so stinking cool! Unbelievable amount of soda and candy, plus some small toys and novelties.
Parking is a little stressful for the non-city folk, but worth it for visiting this gem.

Took our family into Rocket Fizz while on vacation and we were not disappointed. The colors and candies come jumping off the wall with all thier colors. The staff was very helpful, especially with my young children. 10/10 would highly recommend checking out Rocket Fizz for all your sweet tooth cravings.

I am a 49.5 year old woman with a sixteen year old son named Thor, I have stars tattooed on both of my cheekbones, any time I see a swing set I HAVE to give it a whirl, and I will hop happily through any sidewalk hopscotch grid I see scribbled on the ground to this day. Age has nothing to do with having fun and seeing wonder wherever and whenever one can, in my eyes. So, wandering into this fantastic emporium that is the perfect tribute to childhood joys really made an ordinary Tuesday brighter. Everywhere you look there is candy-the literal kind, as well as colorful eye candy in the form of nostalgic toys, gag gifts, so much more. My husband and I knew we would impulsively spend our month's grocery budget on Pop Rocks and anything BUT practical things, so we happily spent five on a few fun little bits and bobs and left. What we left with in the brown paper bag made us happier than the high-tech TV we spent a hundred times more on...and to me, that is the magic and the entire point of this store. We can forget it is the little things that can bring the color back to our rainbows. Anyone have two cups on a string I can borrow? I need to make a phone call...

Amazing little shop in downtown Kalamazoo! The staff was awesome very friendly and amazing. Very much enjoyed the ability to stuff your own bag with candy, allowing the ability to get creative and really pack the bag. They also had a lot of unique individual candies and sodas 10 out of 10 would recommend going
