Reached out (from out of state) to arrange for a gift for a milestone birthday and not only did Blue Goat have exactly what I had hoped to send, they delivered quickly and with a lovely handwritten note on my behalf. Candace went above and beyond for a wonderful Customer experience. So grateful for this fantastic local find!

DO NOT PASS THIS PLACE BY!!!! I did for years, what a huge mistake. If you like good wine, this is the place to go. Extremely knowledgeable & helpful owner. Wine of every price range. Local wines, Californian and French all very well represented. Was a tasting of Rose going on today when we stopped. Found something new we liked. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. (Not a bad beer selection either)

I love this place! There's an exceptional selection of wines, local and otherwise. The owner and staff are always kind and willing to help me pick out the perfect wine. Sebastian has opened my world to wines I'd normally wouldn't have tried. And now that they stock liquor as well this is my go to for all things. Now that I'm thinking of it I need to ask for a good German beer recommendation. PROST !

Amazing selection of wine, craft beer, and spirits! Many of the unique offerings you can't find elsewhere in town. The service you receive when making your selection is top notch and they cater to all budgets and experience levels. They also have a variety of delicious special snacks to pair perfectly with your beverages! A+!

Such a fun store! I went in to see if they had mead. They did; their selection was interesting and included traditional meads from several different countries. There are also locally produced artisanal cheeses and witty stickers / t-shirts available. Staff is super knowledgeable and friendly as well!

Stopped by Blue Goat in Traverse City to look specifically for local wines. The store is very organized, with very good selection of local wines and more. The staff is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable of the wines and provisions offered.

We've been coming to traverse city for 20 years and finally got a chance to visit the Blue Goat. What a great store! Highly recommend!

I had an extremely positive experience with the folks at Blue Goat Wine. They completely exceeded my expectations as a customer. I came to them looking for a specific bottle, and while they weren’t able to source the exact bottle, they found an even better replacement. I liked the bottle so much, I came back to them again to buy a case. I then decided to buy another case as a thank you gift, but I wasn’t able to pick it up in person. Not only did they hand-deliver it to the recipient, but they also offered to hand-write the thank you note that I sent to them via email. Would recommend them to anybody looking for good wine in the TC area.

Love love LOVE when you guys have a food truck outside! It gives you the ability to place a food order, then you go inside and talk to Rick or Cat to help you find a beer or wine to go with your dinner!

Can't believe how diverse the beer selection has gotten, and I will be coming in to get my Belgian beers from you in the future, along with some delicious wines!

Love stopping at the Blue Goat, and buying wine. Shop had been there about 35 years I guess, and diesnt seem to change. Im amazed it's still there. Makes me smile every time I go to Traverse City

Small but excellent wine shop with a knowledgeable staff. There are many choices in Traverse City like this. I've been to a few but I really liked this store. It had a very nice selection of international wines and some very interesting and obscure selections of things like cocktail bitters, Amari, and liqueurs.

The absolute best place to go for your adult beverages.. We stopped in Saturday and the gentleman(owner) was knowledgeable and very passionate about the product he carries. Thanks for taking the time to talk with us and for changing my Pabst only drinking habit.. You definitely gained new customers and we will be sharing our experience with our family and friends..

I always leave with more than I came in for, which is never bad when it comes to wine. The staff is SO helpful with pairings, has gently pushed me outside my comfort zone (much to my delight), and always comes through with a chilled bottle in a pinch. Perfect for special occasions, but a "just right" spectrum of price points for any day of the week!

Excellent little shop with a nice selection of your traditional favorite wines, mixed in with some lesser known varietals and regions if you want to mix it up. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Well worth a visit.
