Boone's Long Lake Inn

The parking lot was big so you can easily find a spot. We did a reservation since we went during the peak hours. Service was great. We were seated right away and we didn’t have to wait long for our food. Prices are expensive but I’m sure people can see that from the number of dollar signs it has. $$$. Food was fantastic. We were not disappointed. There are different combos you can do with the meals. I did my own surf and turf with prime rib and perch. Make sure you get medium rare on the prime rib. If you get it too brown then it’ll be chewy.

Off the beaten path from downtown is worth it sometimes. This is one time. Very good food, service was great, sit at the bar because the bartenders are friendly, and a ton of fun to watch work on a busy day. We will be back for sure to have another delicious meal

My wife was moody because Traverse City was so boring! It is.

Then I found the gem. Wow. She order crab legs and lobster tail. Wow. They were huge and juicy.
I order the 22 oz Prime rib and lobster tail. Wow. The prime was huge! Omg. Plus, the meat was tender. Even more, the fat was soft like butter. Omg! This clearly was My best Prime! Omg. It was sooooo good.

I swear, Texas Roadhouse, outback, etc., you have a King here! Omg! Godzilla!

Eat your prime here and realize what you have been missing for years. Omg. This prime is the best!!!

This place knows to cook their prime rib!!

Oh, get the soup!!! The soup has beef chunks in it so it taste like beef soup. Kinda like Campbell's® Chunky™ Sirloin Burger. Excellent soup! Big meats!

No pretentiousness about this restaurant. Just a perfectly prepared meal, great service by Corinne, and all the atmosphere needed for a true "up north" experience. Ordered 8 oz prime rib with a fried perch side "surf and turf". Beef was simply prepared and wonderful and the perch was the best I've had, I think ever.

Excellent service, great food, and wonderful outdoor deck. My family of eight had an exceptional experience. Our waitress was phenomenal.

Very nice place to have a meal! The atmosphere is rustic and warm. We were greeted as we entered, and seated quickly. Our server was top notch, he was very attentive and helpful. Our food was ready quickly and was amazing. Best lobster tail I've possibly ever had. The prime rib was tender and delicious. Definitely recommend must try. We will be back on our next celebration I'm sure. The meted biter came with a tea candle warmer, very fancy lol.

Amazing staff. Couldnt speak any higher about them. On point with everything. Fast, courteous, polite, accommodating, friendly and patient with our large wedding party. Didnt miss a beat and the food was amazing too. But you already know that much or you wouldnt be looking to dine here.

I can't get over how good the food is here. Seriously, I've never had a bad meal. It's definitely a destination worth visiting.

I had the prime rib and the baked potato with a salad and it was exceptional! My spouse had the T-bone with baked potato and salad and said the same. It may be 25 minutes from Traverse City, but it is totally worth the drive. This place was excellent. And the wait staff and the bartender were top notch. We ate out on the big deck and I believe that that is the place to sit! Great music, great ambience, great food!

They initially said there was a 30 min wait, but it was only for 7 min. They had a coloring activity kids menu to entertain my 6 y.o. and gave bread while we waited for our order. Tables were spaced far away from each other and service was fast. Bathrooms were clean.I ❤ their Bloody Mary. I have not ordered it since I went to London, England's Hard Rock Cafe and I'd say this one was better-- and it includes a glass of Peroni ( or other choice beers) included with it. Loved the flavors! I had the 12 ounce prime rib and it was tender and amazing. It had au jus sauce and I requested raw horseradish which gave it a bit of a kick. My husband had surf n turf of beef filet with perch. My kid had the kid's shrimp meal, which he scarfed down. Price is expensive but well worth it for special occasions. We went there for Father's Day. They had some specials like $5 less for the steaks and $6 Bloody Mary's. The wait was better than what I anticipated considering it was a special occasion. I will come back again. 😊

This place is awesome! Ambiance is wonderful on the deck! The employees hustle! The food is always always on point! If you want a great steak this is the place! We’ve been twice. It’s a little pricey but worth every penny!!!

Beautiful location. Food was delicious. Scott was our server - very polite and professional. We had a large group and we were seated right away. The prime rib was perfect! Combined with baked potatoe and salad.

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!!! My wife and I took our daughter there for an early birthday dinner and there were ZERO complaints, only compliments and unintelligible ramblings because the food was so good we didn't want to waste time with small talk.. lol
Everything was expertly cooked and appetizers came out when an app should, not 2 minutes before the main course. Our server was also amazing! We cant wait to make another stop at this TRULY AWESOME ESTABLISHMENT!!!! Would definitely recommend to everyone!

We had another good meal at Boone's. Its not an inexpensive place but the food is worth it. Good sized portions. I had the seasoned ribeye and it was done just right. Was supposed to be 16 oz but it looked bigger. My wife had the filet and perch combo. We took home half of each steak. I had the exclusively made for Boone's triple chocolate ice cream, made by Moomers. Again, it was worth the calories. The wait staff was very good. The pace was just right, bot too fast or slow. We drive the hour and a half about once a year. Worth the drive.

We've been coming to Boones since 1994.. every time we're in Traverse,this is our go to place to eat. I just celebrated my 70th birthday there...love it!

I can say this .... it's worth the wait, and you better come hungry. The food is great and the staff / servers are even greater. We were from out of town, but I will say this - WE ARE COMING BACK.
The 8oz prime rib is plenty for a normal person, but if you can handle the 12 ouncer - go for it

Husband and I are camping with our 5th wheel up in Traverse City, Mi. and never would miss not going to Boones Long Lake Inn for dinner. A great up north kind of restaurant away from the busy city. A large place with outside dining and two big rooms inside. Beautiful fireplace and decorated very rustic, adds to the up north charm and atmosphere. Menu has something for everyone, they are known for their steaks, prime rib, awesome perch, crab legs, lobster, and the list goes on. Walked in about 6:30 and immediately seated.Our server was Scott

us it was all you could eat shrimp, fried, broiled or scampi style. I chose the fried shrimp and hub chose pork chops. We both ordered a salad and it had the best croutons in it, and very tasty Ranch dressing, their salads are very good !! The mini loaf of bread was still warm and very good.When our dinners came they looked delicious and were the ever, yum!That was one big plate of shrimp, piping hot and oh so good. My baked potato was hot and darn good. Hub got two big, thick cut pork chops with Barbecue sauce on the side. He could only eat one because he was chowing down on my shrimp, he took a doggie bag for his un eaten pork chop. I would say he had the best of both worlds!! HA! Scott took great care of us, we appreciated that. We had such a delicious dinner and the service was excellent. This place is a hangout for all the locals. Prices I felt were comparable to most in Traverse City. Highly recommend dining here A+ Debbie

We came for dinner as a family, and we sat out on the deck. It was a beautiful view outside. The drink are good and definitely made strong. 😆
The steaks are great, and the perch was amazing.
