I normally read customer reviews to try and get a sense of what to expect from a business, but I rarely take the time to write a review. This is one of those times when I’ve had such an exceptional experience that I need to share my thoughts.
In my youth I worked in a custom woodworking shop making cabinets and furniture, so when I was shopping for new kitchen cabinets, I had certain expectations about how they should be built and what materials should be used. When I checked out the construction of the cabinets I was impressed; dovetail joints, hardwood drawers/doors, plywood instead of particle board, high-quality construction and at a very reasonable price. I have designed and built most of the furniture and cabinetry in my home, but I couldn’t buy the materials and build the cabinets that I purchased for less than what I spent and I wouldn’t have been able to turn them out as quickly.
Customer Service: I can’t say enough good things about Kitchen Cabinet Value and Scott Dostal. Scott provided exceptional customer service, he is very knowledgeable and was willing to share his experience to help me. Scott is a rare commodity these days; honest, straight forward, look you in the eye and tell you the truth kind of guy - old school (No B.S.).
Great communication: Scott provided the expected delivery date and delivered on time. When I had questions, Scott either answered his phone when I called or called me back quickly when he was unable to answer.

The Wife and I had a great experience with Kitchen Cabinet Value. We met with Scott on a Saturday with an appointment and he was able to help us design my wife's dream kitchen. We ended up buying 22 cabinets some of which had to be custom and made to fit into a tight spot in our kitchen.
The cabinets arrived on time and were deliver buy Scott and his brother which i thought was a great personal touch. The cabinets we all in great shape and best quality as promised.
When we went to install the cabinets which we had for a few months because renovations were a little slow on my part we notices we had more room for a wider cabinet next to the stove upper and lower. We called Scott and he was able to make us 2 wider cabinets in a week and gave us full exchange on cabinets we had to return and we just had to pay the difference.
Over all the experience was great the cabinets are great and the kitchen turned out great. I would recommend this place to anyone and it felt good spending my money with a family business.

We went several places looking for kitchen cabinets and found Scott by accident. I was impressed by the plywood construction and the variety and quality of options like trashcan cabinets and double-decker silverware drawers. But let me tell you the real difference... he put a LOT more effort into the details of the kitchen layout. Things like coming to the house more than once to measure, measuring the sink and some of the appliances -- and asking for the installation instructions -- to make sure he did the carpentry on the cabinets to match the fit requirements. I recommend you talk to Scott before you buy cabinets. If nothing else, you'll learn a lot.

I was looking for discount cabinets while refurbishing a rental in SE Michigan. Scott at Kitchen Cabinet Value did not disappoint. We worked together over phone and email (I live in another state so couldn't come see them in person) to come up with a template. He was easy to work with and sent over the final specs for approval. A few weeks later, the cabinets were delivered for my handyman to install. The cabinets were beautiful! I wasn't expecting such quality. We were very pleased with our kitchen cabinet replacement experience, from start to finish. Cabinets came in on time, one cabinet was damaged in shipping, that issue was corrected right away, so there was no delay in getting our cabinets installed. Our kitchen looks fabulous now.
