Mt. Ever Rest Memorial Park South

This is a very well maintained cemetery. I've been coming here my whole life, and all four of my Grandparents are buried here. There aren't really interesting stones to look at, as they're all flat to the ground, but it's a nice place to walk. The staff is really nice too, and stopped when I was visiting my Grandparents one time just to see if things were okay, and to let them know if I needed anything.

We buried both of our parents there within the past 12 months. They were very helpful and kind.

It's a great cemetery and I have family members buried at Mt. Everest cemetery.

Well maintained cemetery but wonder what will happen when it's full as it seems to be getting close to capacity.

I brought my 101 year old grandmother to the cemetery on Friday, May 26, 2023 to clean up grandpa's grave and to put flowers on his grave. The lawn has not been mowed in quite some time which is especially discouraging when the facility knows that it will be having several visitors for Memorial Day weekend. How powerless she feels to see her husband's resting place in such poor care and to know that this will be her resting place as well. The driveway has been deteriorating for years. Very disappointing. Grandma said that grandpa should be getting a flag as a veteran. I do not feel very optimistic that this will happen in light of the current condition of the place.

This is after 6 months today they Said they was waiting on top soil to come then they will plant grass. When we went there there was top.soil piled up. But they said they was waiting for it. This is Mother's Day thanks

You would have thought for it being Mothers Day and Memorial Day knowing people will be coming to see their loved ones they could at least mow and trim. Wishful thinking I guess. My parents graves look like a jungle. Lawn is overgrown and overtaken by weeds.

Mt. Ever Rest Memorial Cemetery used to be kept up. It was groomed and well manicured. Always nice to see the flowers while driving by.
My parents are both buried there. My sister noticed today that the cement holding their marker has a large crack in it. Also there is a big hole developing under the cement. It looks to be very hollow under the cement. To the family, this is unacceptable. The gentleman, in the office, acted like it was no big deal. It’s a very big deal to the family!! Please don’t patch, correct it so it looks nice again!!! It’s someone’s family and it hurts to see the uncared for grave site. It’s going to fall right into the hole that was dug to bury them!!

Just stopped by the cemetery today to check on my parents and my brother‘s grave sites and the cemetery looks atrocious. It hasn’t been mowed in weeks it used to be mowed and trimmed weekly and looked very nice, that is why my parents and brother bought their plots here. At this point I don’t think I will be purchasing a plot here and feel it’s very disrespectful to the loved ones of ours that have passed. Regretfully sorry that it has not been kept up. Very sad!!!

We buried my husband’s ashes yesterday, and two men were there from Mt. E, a salesman & a man with a shovel. They hovered. We were all made uncomfortable by their obvious hurry.
I was asked, when they arrived for a “certificate of cremation” I had to send one of my kids to the house for this piece of paper I was never told was necessary to close the grave.
There no respect for our grief, for my dead husband. Nothing. I do not recommend these folks.

Very disappointed on how the cemetery is taken care of!!! The roads are worse than a back country dirt road!!! There's garbage all over, dead flowers everywhere, and no weeding done whatsoever!!! This used to be a very pristine place!!! Now, no one cares about the condition it's in!!!😥😥😥😡😡😡

Very disappointed with the service we received. The sales manager was very rude and disrespectful, even Wenger as far as threatening my father. The maintenance crew and manager were very pushy and rushed us through the memorial service. Because of this several members of our family missed the service.

If I could give them a negative number I would. My dad died in February of 2020 and his name is still not on his grave almost 20 months later.

They care about over pricing many options and charging you at every turn. The going rate for a foundation in this area is $100.00. This cemetery charged me $550.00!

Have not had the sevice yet my mom died on Friday went into plan the service on Monday the guy was very rude he did not offer condolences my mom pre payed for her service to be in the chaple we get a hole 20 minutes unless we want to pay 100 extra dollars the guy had a harsh tone and no compassion
