Harding's Market

I like Hardings. It's smaller, so your selections are somewhat smaller, but all the basics are covered. The prices are higher, but the convenience of being able to run in, grab a few things, and leave in 10 minutes, an impossibility in a large store, make the prices worth it. The employees are always nice, friendly and helpful. The store is very clean. But be careful-their fresh deli foods, bakery items, fresh produce, and sale items may result in you, like me yesterday, going in for a bag of potatoes and ending up getting $57 of groceries!

My absolute favorite store to shop at when I visit Adrian Michigan. Fresh and reasonablypriced food. Employees are so friendly. I live 2 hours away, but I always stop in there when I'm in town to shop and take home with me .

A great experience. Nice atmosphere, good prices, great meat and fresh produce. Also a big variety of other products. You truly see many friendly faces...they seem to have a small turnover in employees.
Location is all good.

Stopped into Harding's for milk. The store is very well lit, clean, & you can easily navigate inside. Many parking spaces outside as well.

Always fast and usually has the things I need. John is my fav cashier, he's super nice and talkative and Miss Cindy in the deli area is literally the nicest person ever and will def get you whatever you need!!

I'm a little confused about something. When I asked the Deli lady for a chicken breast she said " are you sure, they cost about $5 a piece?"

Great supermarket. Nice and helpful people (look for Karen behind the cash register). Prices going up but they are trying to help the buyer. Best fruit and veggies. Super bakery!

I love shopping at Hardings. Always have and always will. They have a great selection, great meat and produce.

Store is clean and cashiers are super friendly. I stop here on my way home from work because its the only place i can usually find my coffee creamer (Hersheys chocolate caramel) except today :( But hopefully they'll have it back in stock soon!

East Main location very unfriendly. I've had problems with having my service dog even after showing papers. Followed around, told that I couldn't have my purse in there, that I had to leave it in front while shopping. All my money and meds are carried in my purse. I felt as if I was singled out. Like being accused of things. I don't steal, I was raised by a police officer. I'm a member of Kalamazoo peace Keepers, which is a police organization. No one else was told to leave their purse up front. I was very offended. This was really uncalled for. I've even been treated bad at their bottle return department. Not a very friendly, welcoming place to shop. There is one cashier in there that is a sweet heart. Always friendly and helpful. Other than her very bad experience.

Nice, friendly and somewhat small store. I consider that a good thing.
Update:. June 2022...they are managing the effects of our ruined economy in a positive way. Still a nice experience!!

What a nice alternative to Meijer. Sure it may cost a little more but sometimes that's okay. I never feel crowded or uncomfortable here. Never have a long wait for a cashier and they've got a surprisingly good selection for it's size.

A wonderful store, that has neen on the neighborhood since I was born. If you're in the deli, try their meatloaf and/chicken tenders. Wash them down with an authentic Mexican Coca-Cola (made with real sugar instead of corn sweeter). Friendly & outgoing cashiers & carry-outs.

I know the prices are higher but I like going there because it's not so big. I have trouble getting thru Walmart or Meijers. It's always clean and well stocked and it's better for me to shop there.

The staff is helpful, respectful and caring. What more can you ask for no matter the store. People make the difference. The store is well kept and stocked very well. The weekly sales are constant, and contain many values. Thanks Hardings!!

Awesome staff. Super friendly environment. Some items are a little pricey and the produce department doesn't have the freshest options. Overall great though!

Clean, friendly, quick in and out. Red Bulls right up front. Good deli with decent fried chicken and other hot items and good salads.Have beautiful flowers reasonable priced.

I've been shopping here for several years and I always enjoy it. I have literally never had a bad experience. The cashiers are always polite and helpful. And they have excellent sales.
