Oakridge Supermarket

The new management is fantastic. The employees are super friendly. Good prices, the chicken is packaged in reasonable amounts for a single person, it’s not in 3lb packages with two oversized breasts injected with water like Kroger. My only gripes are the green onions are soft and they have a limited cheese selection.

Love this store! Close to my Aunt's house so when I visit from Indiana it's my go-to place. Courteous employees large aisles well lit. Big city store with small town values! Huge selections in hard to find products. Great meat too. Thanks for being there you are greatly appreciated!

I haven't been in this store in many years, but I have to say, they have so many things! Their sweet department is huge! Lots of press and cakes and donuts! Presently surprised!

I saw an elderly woman approximately 89 yrs old get caught stealing. My boyfriend offered to pay for items woman attempted to shoplift and the manager was irrate and he was being extremely mean and loud. He denied pleas to pay for items. He snatched the old woman's purse from her arms roughly grabbed her and he was completely out of order out of control. Disrespectful to myself and my boyfriend. I will never ever shop in that store again

Prices at or better than large chain stores!!

Great variety...prices mostly comparable to other stores..clean..very friendly staff..especially bakery and deli.

Pre-ordered chicken went to pick it up and they were very quick to find my order and I was on my way.

This place is awesome they have just about everything and if you ask for something they will try to get it.

It's always clean, and the workers are always friendly. Lord I was looking all around town for Alfredo sauce, and they were the only store to have it! I made homemade spinach dip.

The cashier this evening is a good guy. His genuine attitude helped balance a blah day. Lane 1 around 6pm. Simple kindness made my day. That was before he reminded me I forgot my chicken. I appreciate you.

New owners, beautiful store, and higher prices

I had a catering order go in Thursday to be picked up Sunday for a very important family event. I had a call confirming my order within the hour. Today almost 10am I get continued calls saying they didn't know about my order, although they call saying they don't have each item. I'm beyond hurt and upset .
They called and beyond made it right when I thought all hope was lost! I can't tell you how grateful I am!!!!

I like this smaller chain store rather than going to the mega big box stores. They carry things here that I oftentimes can't find at the big box stores. The parking here is pretty good, the customer service is decent, there are no self check out registers so you are interacting with real people in the checkout process, the store maintains clean, and they have a nice variety of items.

Been shopping at Oakridge for over 40 years by far the best grocery store in southern Macomb. Always good selection always clean never long lines at the checkout. As soon as the lines start getting long, they immediately open more cash registers to get to people through unlike Kroger‘s or Meiers where you could wait forever just trying to check out. And the employees have all been working there a long time which tells you a lot about the type of place it is they are always friendly and helpful and knowledgeable.

Not a huge grocery store, selection has everything that i need. Price is generally lower than Meijer and Kroger. They have real people to check you out. They have people bagging as well. Hot and ready foods / deli counter is always busy and fresh. Fried chicken is great and they sell lots of it. I save so much time going to this place, I have never waited more than 5 minutes in the check out.
