I finally ventured out and got my hair cut for the first time in 4 years. Terra was the first stylist I’ve had (maybe ever??) that didn’t absolutely annoy the heck out of me. She’s super chill, and was very pleasant to talk to. She did a great job with my hair and I could tell she knows how to cut curly hair very well. Prices were very fair, the salon is clean, quiet, and decorated with cute antiques. I’ll be back for sure!

I left so impressed by my service there today. I have been going to various Great Clips locations for awhile now, and I consistently regret it. I came for the first time today, and Terra saw how crooked and uneven my hair was. She recognized how much help it needed, and worked her magic. Nice conversation, revitalized hair, classy place.

Perfect! After many years of trying different salons with disappointing results I decided to make an appointment at Salon 99. I was always so impressed with the new building and couldn’t wait to try the salon. I was introduced to Terra and I was so grateful for the time she took to hear my concerns and work with me to get the style and color that would work best for me. I am so happy with the cut and color I received and the experience in the salon is very inviting and relaxing. It has been 2 years now and I truly look forward to my appointments and love my time there. The salon is spacious, clean, and the staff is friendly. Sierra is very professional and I absolutely love the cut. She works with the way my hair curls and cut it so it is very easy to style and work with. Even looks great when I wash and go.

It was my first visit to the salon, and I was beyond impressed. The salon is beautiful, very tranquil and clean. I was greeted warmly and offered coffee. The shampoo station was comfortable and the water temperature was just right, and the shampoo smelled amazing.
Jen C. was my stylist, and she listened to what I was telling her, reviewed photos that I thought I might like, and offered suggestions based on my hair type and lack of styling skills. She was thorough and professional, asking questions about my lifestyle and favorite hair products. Jen gave me the best haircut I have ever had. She cut off about 14 inches for me to donate to a favorite charity, and gave me a cut that is not only extremely stylish and easy to maintain, but is flattering for my face and hair type.
I would highly recommend this salon and I will definitely be visiting Jen again for all my haircare needs!

Tara is amazing!! I have very thick, coarse hair, only two stylist in my 38 years of life have cut my hair correctly. Tara is one of them! I also came in with quite a mess of color going on, she was very informative and honest about the process needed to fix it. She went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied and she really took her time helping the process along. I have a few more sessions to get it where I want it, which I knew ahead of time, but I'm shocked with how much she was able to fix in one session. She said she wasn't a magician, but I would say she is pretty close! I'm beyond grateful I found this gem, and I cannot wait to go back for round two! Before and after pictures coming! From start to finish everything was fantastic!!! Terra was very thorough and explained the process my hair was going to go through. The salon was clean with stylish decor. I got partial highlights and my eyebrows done. I'm very happy with my experience!!! I would definitely recommend Studio 99 to friends and family.

Stylists were kind and professional. I brought example pictures and she did a great job! Cut was slightly shorter than expected due to my curly hair, but I am very happy with the shape and it is growing out nicely!

Terra was great! It's hard to find a salon or even barber who does
my hair exactly how I want it but Terra nailed it! I was very pleased and this salon had a very relaxed atmosphere and made me feel very comfortable, I grew up in richmond so it's nice to find a salon close to home, thank you Terra!

Haley did an amazing transformation on my hair! Took my very thick curly fire engine red mop, and turned it into a half shaved mahogany bob. My entire experience was amazing. The wash was great, the conversation was even better. Highly recommend seeing highly for a change, big or small!

This was my first time going to Studio 99 and I must say I will definitely be going back. The salon is very clean, very calm and makes you feel very welcome. The hospitality was Amazing! I went in not knowing what I wanted done but knew my hair was very overdue! I am an all over highlighted blonde but natural brunette. My hair was very dry from hard well water and a lot of years of using bleach. Terra not only took the time to listen to what I was seeking in terms of my hair but she went above and beyond to make sure I left with soft, SHINY, natural looking blonde hair. Terra took the time to explain the products she was using as she went through each step. I made my next appointment before I left and have already recommended Studio 99 to others.

Came in because I wanted to fix my hair that I had dyed myself about a week ago. All the color washed right out. Heather was super nice and she made my hair so much better than when I had came in. Even gave me my first trim I have had in about three years and it just looks amazing. Definitely going to come back and recommend to friends
