Absolutely wonderful experience all the way around. Our server, Lacey, had the best attitude and personality. She was at the end of her shift and still had the perfect smile. Everything Lacey suggested was delicious! We ordered the bourbon smash burger and the fried chicken sandwich. I also ordered the mango coconut milk smoothie drink. Will definitely come back again.

Seriously, every inch of my experience was wonderful. The food, the live music, the service. Sheesh, even the toilet paper was freaking high quality. But gosh let me say that the food was out of this world, just sheer unparalleled quality. toast to the chef

Dustin was awesome! Quick and courteous despite having a lot of tables during a busy time. Our food was really spectacular! I got the chicken pot pie and a midas touch cocktail and loved both.

We went after the lunch crowd was gone, so there weren't that many people and the service was fast. The server took care of us and checked on us a couple of times. I ordered the Tuna Poke Bowl, which had a variety of vegetables and sashimi like tuba cubes in decent quantities along with a variety of sauces in the bowl. Every bite I took had a completely different taste, which was thoroughly enjoyable. I will go back there again and try a different bowl next time.

Had my birthday lunch here and it was very good! Pretzel appetizer was hot out of the oven straight to the table. Cheese dip was delicious. The drinks were good and strong and the curry chicken bowl was amazing!

The food was so good cheap mimosas and Alyssa was sooo nice ❤ 10/10 I had the dynamite shrimp bowl! It was soo good! I was on a self care day! Seen this on fb originally for the Sunday brunch but I still came and I’m not disappointed at all

Food and service were amazing!!! Definitely recommend. Nice atmosphere, but was a little on the loud side, couldn't really have a conversation without saying "huh?" a lot.

I had the delicious smoke house bowl which was phenomenal! My Wife had the smash burger which was just as delicious. Everywhere else we went had a waiting line but we were seated right away here and finished our food before we would have even been seated at the other places.

The Mrs. and I had driven by this place for the last couple of years, always commenting on the notion that we should stop in. Well, today we did just that. We enjoyed the live music; a couple singing modern acoustic tunes in subdued tones, it totally added to the atmosphere.

The food was awesome. We started with the spinach artichoke flatbread. She had the fried chicken sandwich, and I had the bang bang shrimp bowl. We also shared the sweet potato tots. The presentation was classy, with a modern twist, and the flavors were beyond words.

I am going to revisit this gem of an eatery.

Absolutely fantastic!! Delicious cocktails, gorgeous ambiance and friendly staff! Pasta was divine. My son loves his fried chicken sandwich. His fries were Soooo good I stole them all. Bravo!

Extremely satisfied with my experience here! The Brie burger was delicious and the food and drinks came relatively quickly. Our server Hawi was so sweet and attentive. She really went above and beyond to make sure me and partner had a splendid meal. Highly recommend.

Oh. My. Gosh! Wow! Top notch place. You have to try their food. I think their cheese curds may be better than the ones at the State Fair. Steel and Hops have a fabulous dining atmosphere and an even better menu. The staff is attentive as well. Excited to come back and try more menu items.

Stopped in for happy hour. We highly recommend this place. The drinks were lovely and craft beer as well. Service was good and friendly. Love to go cheese toast and the burnt ends. I think this is a hidden gem.

Simply phenomenal. Delicious food, wonderful service, and an ample drink menu including "adult slushies" and a wide selection of tap beer in a bright, pleasant atmosphere.

Their street tacos are amazing! I was nervous to try them - my husband is from Mexico and loves his tacos, and I was worried that they'd be Americanized and disappointing. Not the case - they were so good we ended up getting a second order!

They use local, grass-fed beef here. My husband ordered the Pepper Crusted New York steak, and said it was the best steak he's ever had. I had a couple bites, and it was indeed cooked to perfection. It came with asparagus and their delicious homemade mashed potatoes. I had the Cali burger, which satisfied my craving.

Our attentive and friendly server Anastasia recommended the apple crisp for dessert, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Steele & Hops is on the pricier side (at least for the area), but well worth every penny. I'd pick them over Applebee's any day. We can't wait to come back!!

I just took my friend here for her birthday tonight,we both had the Pear cocktails (AMAZING!!!) and the Brie Burger was to die for. The food was incredible! Our server Alyssa was friendly and accomodating,we will be going back soon and we look forward to the spring and summer when the patio is open. You will NOT be disappointed if you go here. The atmosphere was cozy and chic.

Food was top-notch. Going in, Did not have high expectations for taste. But even regularly American fare dishes felt very tasty : chicken wings with dry rub, Cajun whiskey Pasta with Chicken and Shrimp, fried cauliflower, Flatbread. Beer collection was very good too. The Cream Ale they had was everyone's favorite. But my favorite was Indeed Brewing 's Pistachio Cream Ale. Service was spot-on with good food/drink suggestions, waiting times for the food was minimal.

Wow. I’m impressed!

Short version: Steele & Hops is a gem for great service (thanks Dustin), a killer Manhattan, and food that was outstanding! This is a new favorite restaurant in the Twin Cities.

Long version: I came to dinner with my mom while visiting the area, and we had a great meal. We were greeted at our table almost immediately by Dustin, our server. He was attentive the entire meal and checked in several times, but not too much.

We ordered the Orange Maple Salmon, the Tofu Bowl with added ginger, and French Fries. Everything was hot, flavorful, and well seasoned. Seriously, the best fries I’ve had in years, with awesome seasoned sour cream. With the salmon, the greens beans were very crisp (maybe a touch too crisp) but the flavor was fantastic.

I ordered a Barrel Aged Cherry Manhattan, and mom had an Apricot No-Hito (non alcoholic). The Manhattan was killer, maybe the best I’ve had in the Twin Cities. And mom loved her drink.

It was **slightly** loud, but not to much that you can’t have a conversation.

We can’t wait to come back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our first-time visit to Steele & Hops! Great decor, fast service, and delicios food & drinks! We came at 11a.m. on Saturday and they had $3 mimosas & $3 bloody marys until 2. Michaela was our server and she was fast, attentive, personable, helpful, and was kind enough to take a pic of the 3 of us. We will definitely be coming back and telling our friends & family!😊

This was my first time here and it was so good! A little bit of a wait but totally worth it. Emily was very nice and gave out good opinions on the food and drinks, I had their seasonal slushee which was caramel apple flavored and it was amazing. I also loved the feta cheese app. I asked for a flat bread without meat and received it too. Will be back!
