Nobody wants to say goodbye to their loved ones, but unfortunately that is a part of life. I lost my dad at the end of October to cancer and Trent was absolutely wonderful. Trent made the whole process so smooth, peaceful, and calming. The funeral home has been completely redone and is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! But most importantly, my dad looked exactly like my handsome dad before he got sick when we came to say goodbye. Trent did the most beautiful job on my dad and I can’t thank him enough for just perfecting everything. Words truly can’t describe how perfect he made such a difficult time in my family’s life. Thank you so much.

Knowone wants to plan a funeral. As humans, its a part of life, laying our loved ones to rest. My siblings and our spouses just layed our Mom to rest. She was 92. Trent was amazing. Prim and proper when necessary, a little off beat and light hearted as well. He read us and our needs. He delivered 100% + in service to our family and friends as we gathered to pay our respects. Hands down the nicest funeral home I’ve ever been to! After walking inside the first time I couldn’t believe it was a funeral home, beautifully renovated and has a large lounge area for immediate family to gather and compose theirselves, it felt warm and inviting like being at home. We had contacted several funeral homes before deciding to use Trent at Rewalt-Peshek and was by far the best decision we made. He made everything easy to understand and walked us through every step of the process. Plus was more affordable than almost every other place we checked out before hand. In mid August our family, unfortunately found ourselves in need of a funeral home. Our Mother had passed away at the age of 92. We made the decision to go with Rewalt-Peshek. This funeral home deserves 5 stars for many reasons. The warm, country feel of the decor and furnishings makes you feel at home. It's very nice inside. There's a lounge with a fireplace and couches to step away and take a break, there's a bathroom on the main level which is very nicely decorated. The outside has been worked on as well and looks great.

Trent, the Funeral Director, is very compassionate and thorough with making sure every detail is addressed. With the passing of my father, I didn't know what all needed to be done but Trent made the process easy. He handled everything with professionalism and everything ran smoothly.

I have personally worked with Trent and his staff on a professional level for many funeral occasions. He has continued to impress me with his compassion for helping families during their very difficult grieving process. I would highly recommend the Rewalt-Peshek Funeral Home to assist with your funeral or memorial.

Our whole experience was wonderful here. The owner knew just how to handle everything and was very professional and down to earth with our whole family. He has updated the interior of the building and it looks beautiful. This funeral home was able to give us the best experience possible during a terrible time of the loss of a loved one.

Although we found Rewalt-Peshek through circumstances that no parent wants to experience, our experience could not have been better. They communicated with us through each step of the process and were incredibly compassionate throughout it all. Thank you for making a difficult time a little easier.

Not very happy with how our loved ones funeral was handled. I'll just list a few of the things that were noticed:
No one at the door to greet any visitors or ask questions, and when the owner was around he wasn't very friendly. Coffee was ice cold in the room and when we told him he acted like it was putting him out. After only being laid out 1 day, our loved one was a different color the next day at the church. Pall bearers weren't given gloves and didn't sit in the front of the church together (like normally they do). They didn't know where to sit and really didn't handle the casket as they should have. Funeral room has been mostly re-done and it is nice, but the mauve carpeting doesn't really match the new decor.
We would not use this funeral home again. It is definitely not the warm homey feeling it used to be when it was Rewalt's.
