Village Cafe

We were passing through Richmond and had the opportunity to stop for breakfast. They have quite a lot on the menu and it would satisfy most people. The atmosphere and service were definitely very good. They have some hidden gems on the menu that you might want to take a look at.

Food and people are super. I had potato cakes breakfast which I recommend, and only $9.99, which is good these days. Shout out to my waitress Jen.

I love this small town feel of this restaurant... They have a huge selection of all kinds of foods and the food I always get here no matter what it is, has always been amazing. The staff here is always friendly and of all the "like family" restaurants... This one is really the only one that gives that vibe.

One of the ONLY places that have REAL STEEL SKILLET breakfast meals and of course absolutely great ownership and local workers who put their heart and soul into serving us locals. George and Maria have owned the Village Cafe since back in the late 80’s / 90’s when it was the Pink Flamingo 🦩 take the kids there a lot for great pancakes too. Do yourself a favor and stop in, have some great food and become friends.

Just passing through the area and stopped for breakfast. Great little diner with friendly staff and really good food. The skillet was more than enough and really tasty. Everyone there seemed to know each other and was really friendly, love that in a small town diner or bar.

EXCELLENT food and service! My daughters and I stopped on for breakfast on the way to school after fasting all morning for blood draws at the Henry Ford Clinic. Village Cafe's extensive tastebud-tempting menu, quick and friendly service, and bottomless cups of hot coffee turned a rocky start of a morning around and made it a fresh, most perfect start! Chocolate Chip Pancakes, 2x2x2, and a Healthy Start Breakfast with Hot Chocolates and Coffee for the WIN!! The Rausch Girls thank you for an amazing breakfast and and excellent "restart" to our morning! This might of been our 1st visit in and I promise it won't be our last.

Its been a long time since I was here, food was excellent along with the service.

I stumbled on this place passing thru town and I'm glad I stopped in! The waitress Sandy was so incredibly friendly and proud of her town and restaurant. They have a rather large menu too!

If I'm ever in town again it would be a pleasure to dine in again!

My wife and I rail trail; bike tour throughout all of Michigan. We have eaten at many restaurants. The Village Cafe serves the best breakfast out of all the restaurants we've eaten!

Best small diner I've ever been to in my life! The staff is great, and the food is always amazing!

I ordered a breakfast meal, 2 over easy eggies, pancakes, sausage, bacon, toast, and it was super tasty. The only reason it's a 4 instead of 5 for food is because my over easy eggs had runny whites, which is disappointing. BUT everything else made up for it. Pancakes were my favorite part! Service felt personal and welcoming!

Always a pleasure! George, Maria, and staff are always friendly and welcoming, and the food never disappoints! There is sometimes a wait to be seated but it's very short, if at all, and logic dictates that people don't wait, even for a few minutes, for lousy food 😀

Can always count on this place for a consistently delicious breakfast/brunch. Have tried a dozen different things on the menu and all have been excellent. Owner and staff are very kind.

Village Cafe will always be a favorite! So grateful this community has a wonderful cafe in town. Friendly service, great owners & awesome food. The Greek Skillet is one of my favorites!

Oh my goodness - we stopped in here on Sunday and had an absolutely delicious breakfast! Perfect scrambled eggs & omelet, divine homemade sausage patties & potato pancakes. Staff & service was wonderful too!

Had a really good breakfast skillet. Good service. Place is compact, think it would feel more open if the decoration were not hanging from ceiling.

This was our first time going to Village Cafe, but it won't be our last! Excellent food, with something on the menu for everyone, and at a very reasonable price. The waitstaff were highly attentive; even the owner was very engaged.
