Amazing! When we experienced a plumbing emergency, I started calling down the list of Google search results. All of the big "national chain" companies had thier answering service who has no knowledge of plumbing collect my personal info and wanted to send a tech to the house to "discuss the issue and provide pricing." McDonoughs had a knowledgeable person answer my call and had a tech call me right away. Delante discussed our issue, offered possible causes and what it might take to fix, and was transparent about pricing and options. There was no pressure. He was here within 20 mins and the issue turned out to be exactly what he thought it might be on the phone. He had it fixed in an hour. He was so knowledgeable, polite, and helpful. It's rare to find real knowledgeable people who actually want to help you in an emergency without taking advantage. I highly recommend this company!

I called at 10 am today. A friendly professional tech named Ellijah came out around 11. Am. He worked on the main line. He explained where and why it was clogged.
I highly reccomend this service to anyone with clogged drains.

This is the second time I have needed a drain cleaned. Each time the person who did the work was pleasant, efficient, left no mess and the price was fair.

Our bathroom sink plugged and we called McDonough's and Tony was at our door in a less than an hour. In less than another hour, Tony had located the plug in the line, cleared it, replaced the old brass P-trap and was on to the next job. He answered our questions, explained what he was doing, left the worksite clean and was very nice. Highly recommend.

Efficient, friendly and bright worker. He diagnosed the reason for our clog and water leakage from the toilet, fixed the issue and cleaned his way out of the bathroom. He made sure we understood what the problem was and reviewed our bill before departing.

This business is a great example of "you get what you pay for." In the best way.

They're not the cheapest but we saw where that money was going. Into the equipment, training, and people.

We had a clogged main drain on a weekend evening. Craig was there in a relative flash and worked incredibly hard to get us back to normal. He tried three different methods and even called in a second guy to help. He truly went above and beyond.

It probably wasn't the cheapest option we could have found, but after Craig was done, I was 100% confident that things were as good as anyone could hope to get them. The camera spoke to how very thorough Craig had been. Instead of a single camera inspection and calling it good enough, or charging us extra to use the camera, it was part of how he did his job and I could see the progress with every new try.

Couldn't be happier with how our service call went, particularly considering how much of a pain drain service can be.

McDonough's will be our go to from now on. But hopefully for maintenance instead of emergencies.

The sign of amazing service is when an employee makes a mistake and the customer writes a five-star review.

It started with water from a floor drain in the basement after we ran the dishwasher. On the recommendation of friends who live down the street, we called McDonough early the next morning, and they sent someone to fix the problem later the same day.

Unfortunately the next day, the plumber installing a new shower valve had to snake a drain in a different part of the basement to finish his work.

And the day after that, we found more water from both drains in the basement.

When we called McDonough back, they took responsibility for not having checked far enough down the soil line to ensure we'd have no more problems. They came back, finished the work, which ended up being a bigger job than any of us wanted on a Friday afternoon, and they arranged a bill that reflected their responsibility for the incomplete work on their first visit.

The thing that makes this service worth all five stars is that there was no point in any of our conversations when anyone started to react defensively. Every conversation my wife or I had with every person we spoke to at McDonough was calm and pleasant from start to finish, even though we were both quite exasperated after sopping up water with old towels when we dialed their number.

Kitchen sink was clogged bad. Was referred to Mcdonough's from AJ Alberts plumbing. Nate arrived within an hour or so of my initial call and took care of it! Very happy!
