The Lookout Bar and Grill

This place was great, friendly staff, wonderful atmosphere, awesome buffet from 11 to 2 pm, Friday's for sure. Maybe more days. Had brosted chicken, fried fish, Reuben casserole, mix of deserts and more. Great little find and a filling stop.

Visiting from Chicago and these are the best bar ribs I've EVER had!!! Staff and patrons are amazing. Lady on my right side gave me a free drink ticket for literally no reason, I played the raffle a few times and had a blast, the couple on my left made me feel like I've been here a million times, then the owner comes out of nowhere after hearing me tell everyone in the bar how amazing the ribs are and gives me a free bottle of his famous rib rub!!! I'm in heaven. Definitely coming back!!! Shane M.

We had our 25th anniversary party here in mid-February. From the planning through the event everything was PERFECT. Carrie was easy to work with and knew exactly what to recommend for types and quantities of food. We had special liquor requests that they had to bring in and it was no problem. We also needed gluten free options that were easily accommodated. The food was delicious! The service that night was amazing! Our bartender and servers made sure no one waited for drinks and everyone got exactly what they wanted. We felt like the only ones in the whole bar. We couldn’t have asked for a better event. Reasonably priced! Definitely would host another event there! 10/10 would recommend!

Love this place! Live bands and dancing every Saturday night. Bingo with large jackpots on Mondays and Thursdays.
It can be pretty hard to get a drink at times.

GREAT atmosphere. The outdoor space is fabulous. Park for kids, sand volleyball, bags, and waterfall landscaping was beautiful. Came for lunch on a weekday. It was empty outside.
The ghost pepper cheese curds are not for the faint of heart. The schezuan green beans are also spicy but cooked perfectly. Thr steak bites were also pretty good. Will absolutely be back but with more people to play some bags and have some buckets of drinks.

8/2/15: We stopped at the Lookout once previously for beers, just a quick stop. Today (Sunday), we spent a little more time, but still only ordered off the appetizer menu. Overall we really enjoyed ourselves. We sat inside at the bar and received fantastic service (granted, the bar was slow compared to the outdoor patio). Since we ended up ordering off the appetizer menu our expectations where not high, but the food was still very good (bbq chicken flatbread and sliders). Price was extremely low for what we got (4 tall domestic beers and 2 apps), under $21 in total. We actually planned on using our Metro Dinning Club card, but passed on that when we saw the happy hour prices. We definitely plan to go back and spending some time on the patio and would recommend this bar to anyone. High value, laid back atmosphere, good service, decent food.

Random Saturday night out to celebrate a friend’s birthday. I’ve been here a few times for various events, but nothing prepared me for the night I just had here! Was it crowded af? Yep! Was it one of the most eclectic groups I’ve ever encountered? Also yes. Did I have the best time I’ve had in a good while? Damn straight! The cover band was incredible and service was good despite the number of people there. Love this place!

Very attentive staff from the moment we walk in and placing our food order. Maggie, our server, was friendly and ready available. Excellent Bloody Marias and Breakfast Skillet. All at a reasonable price. Only negative, when the party rooms are being used and you would like to sit on the patio. The entrance is the door used by the smokers to go to the patio.

Our high school group of girls has been coming here monthly for 12 years! Food is great and our server, Laurie, is excellent! She goes above and beyond to please everyone!! She’s the best!!!

I attended a Celebration of Life yesterday, March 16th. The Lookout catered the food and beverages with every detail perfected! Everyone at our table of 8 (in constant rotation) all raved about the food! Thank you to the Lookout for adding to this special day!

Patty melt is excellent, would pass on the soft pretzels next time- no butter or salt on them seemed weird and the dipping sauce was more soupy than saucey, buffalo wings are good and meaty, fries are battered and delish!

Love their food. We live 2 miles away and love getting the chicken dinner takeout. Delicious chicken and wonderful potatoes and gravy. Try it if you haven't already.

My wife and I have been going here for years. Lori behind the bar is terrific. Always ready with a smile. The food is always good and the live music on the weekends is always great.

Been a great community asset for decades! Owner is very involved in the community. Live bands, awesome huge patio. Great party room. Great lunch specials. Nice dinner specials. My go to is the ribs & broasted chicken, crimson burger as my burger craving.

The lookout catered my daughters wedding and I cannot say enough that they were absolutely amazing! Everyone made our experience so so so perfect Maria was so incredibly helpful I could not have asked for better service! The bartenders were so fun and responsible. And those serving served with a smile! Could not recommend the service enough!

Delicious Sunday chicken fry. Such tasty comfort food! Friendly and attentive service. Relaxed atmosphere. Will be back again.

We drove out to see The Band Rhino. Fantastic evening! Had plenty of laughs, made new friends and enjoyed a fantastic performance by the band. We definitely look forward to returning!!!!

This place has been around long before all the other restaurants in Maple Grove and that is for a reason. Great variety of food and drinks with a very comfortable atmosphere.

Friendly service. I had the Saturday Prime Rib special, and it was great. Delicious ND a huge portion for the cost.
