I visited this cute fabric store for the first time in 2023 and had a fantastic experience. The lovely ladies were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Great variety of vibrant fabrics. What impressed me the most was their extensive selection of stretch mesh in 25+ vibrant colors, as well as spandex/Lycra and stretchy velvet in a variety of colors, including vibrant colors that you will not find in Joann's craft store. It's truly a treasure trove for sewing enthusiasts with a wide variety of notions, buttons, and trim. I absolutely loved it, and I am coming back for more!

I love this store so much! I'm new to sewing and the ladies are so helpful and are really encouraging. They have an amazing selection of fabrics, buttons, and patterns! I go back about every few weeks and I'll never stop.

small store with many different fabric selections for apparel. the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, even when the establishment was busy. they have cottons, denims, polyesters, flannel, lace, patterns, threads, zippers, and other items needed for sewing. there aren't many fabric stores around me, so i definitely will be coming back!

They have the best selection in northern new jersey. excellent pricing never a need for discounts or coupons. Staff is always helpful and friendly. Owner is a nice guy always helpful and knows his fabric.

They referred me to a sewing class as I was looking for one. The class is pricey $350 for 6 weeks. I’m not sure if the teacher is licensed, I did not get that far. I was distracted by the price.

The day I went there were two ladies working with several customers. They were polite and professional to all of them, myself included. One young lady assisted me with a zipper. If I knew how to sew they would see me more often...LOL!!!

I looked all over north Jersey for pink vinyl upholstery for a chair. I called seven stores after physically visiting four. I didn’t want to order online. I like to support small businesses. My call to Central Fabrics proved to be fruitful. Nice lady on the phone confirmed they did have the vinyl. Helped right away when I arrived. Prices reasonable! Nice staff! My short time there was pleasurable. Will definitely be back for other projects.

This was such a pleasant experience. GREAT prices even on expensive lace fabric. The staff are so warm, friendly and welcoming. I found exactly what I needed but then did not want to leave. For a medium size store their selection is wonderful and varied. Whoever the buyer is at Central Fabric has a great eye for what is in fashion and also unique...such as a good collection of African print fabric.

I hate big store and malls. They are overwhelming to me. This one was perfect. Customers having conversation that you knew they had been there before. I was even asked by a salesperson my opinion on a customers choice. I will definitely be back and recommend to others!

I went to Central Fabrics with my 3 year old granddaughter. Fortunate for me she was well behaved. The woman who assisted me was very nice. I was out of there within 20 minutes. The prices were reasonable. I recommend the store.

I went to 3 other stores before stopping here. I'm glad I did. I thought I needed a new zipper and was ready to perchance it until one of the young ladies asked me if I wanted to replace the whole zipper or just the slider. I didn't know I had an option lol. Well Ms. lady hooked me up and I really appreciate it. I paid $8 for her doing that where I probably would have paid more to have the zipper replaced than I paid for the bag. Thank you again.

Central fabrics is the best fabric store in East Orange and surrounding, the prices are reasonable the staff is super helpful and friendly, I am a fashion designer now live in GA and still shop at Central Fabrics that’s how much I love that store, love you all “Julia”

Went to get some faux fur for a project I’ve been working on with my daughter. Staff was friendly and helpful, took us right to the section and helped us pick something out and rang us up. Huge selection, friendly staff, and great prices.

Excellent assortment of fabrics. Open 7 days/week 9-4pm. Pleasant, helpful staff. I got just what I needed for 2 projects with the help of one of the ladies❤.
