MidCountry Bank (Appointment Only)

The best....around!

Will Never do business with this bank! See my review under their Apple Valley branch location. Because of how this bank (or branch manager at AV) processed transactions, they kept me in a negative territory, resulting in them taking my money and not being able to pay bills or house payment! I almost ended up loosing my house because of this crooked institution of a so called bank! Once I spoke with other banks and was able to get out of Mid Country, I never had an issue again like how it was with Mid Country! Bank with these crooks at your own risk!

This bank reported an incorrect erroneas amount to our title company for payoff on 4/2. They are claiming a transaction that occured on 3/28 was not included. They explained there is a one day lag time on reporting. Let's have our everyday people do the math- 3/28 to 4/2 is 2 days. That is obvious to anyone. In addition to this, they are holding us accountable to physically get a check to them for their mistake and charging a per diem each day (again for their mistake). This organization has out of date systems, their employees blatently lie, they do not take accountability for their mistakes. Please be aware.

Customer service is NOT a factor here. The branch in Waconia, manager, Barb, was incredibly unhelpful, rude and hung up the phone when I was attempting to make a fraud claim. The bank would not give me numbers to call another department to try and close my claim. Val, in the claims department is about as helpful as your shoe. Bottom line, not a good organization to invest your money. The employees could care less about its customers. DO NOT PUT YOUR MONEY HERE.

Worst business bank account I could have chosen for our startup. Zero flexibility on fees as we struggle to get our business set up/running. Really regret not going with a more esablished bank like Wells Fargo Choice Business Checking or U.S. Bank's similar account - friends have said great things about these others.

Horrible customer service. Customer told multiple times “unfortunately there’s nothing we can do to help you”. When incident was reported to 2 supervisors, that indeed, there was help, customer was shamed and laughed at. Needless to say, all accounts will be closed ASAP.
