Details: Gunnar Electric responded promptly to my request to fix a broken GFCI outlet that, once I saw the snarly wiring from a prior DIYer, clearly needed a pro to verify before making this otherwise-simple repair. Gunnar’s scheduler said that an electrician would be at my house between 10 and 2, and would call in advance. I got a call about 10-15 minutes before 10, at time BRIAN (5 stars) arrived promptly, greeted me by name and shared his name with a nice handshake. I showed him the mess. He’d already seen the pictures I’d emailed in advance showing the possible problem. He got his tools, then quickly and quietly replaced the outlet. He cleaned up any dust and debris, and was done in under 20 minutes. $165 well spent: I can trust that my house won’t burn down (at least, not due to THAT electrical DIY nightmare).

We had a great experience with this company on a simple issue we had with our sauna so we asked them back for assistance with a bigger project - they did not disappoint us! They gave us competitive prices, a knowledgeable staff and quick responses to our questions. They took the time to follow-up and explained the process from beginning to end. Gunnar Electric had done work for me a few years back. They did an excellent job then so I contacted them again. I had an intermittent problem which they tracked and fixed. Stefan Chmura did an excellent job. It is really nice to have such a good and trusted service to go back to when the need arise.

My overall experience was very good. I was asked about the placement of the charging station and additional details to firm up the estimate. I did my part by clearing a path for the install. The electrician (Mike) came out to my house on the designated date. He went over the install with me and then quickly completed the job. The electrical inspector came through later and said all was good. Perfect!

Gunnar has done multiple projects at our house over the last 2 years. Wonderful to work with!!!!!!! Explain what they are doing. Do it professionally. Clean up afterwards. Always polite. And the Service dept is great at getting things set up / followed up on if needed. (My biggest concern is people may read this, book up all their time, and next time when I need them for help they will be so booked I will have to wait :) Current timing was very reasonable given today's construction boom. )

Gunnar installed a Level 2 EV charger as part of Xcel Energy's "Accelerate at Home" program. I needed 240v in my garage and the electrician was very informative and efficient completing the work. Highly recommend Gunnar for this work (and the Xcel program, too)!

Late day issue prompted a call to a number of electrical companies within my area. Gunnar was the only company able to quickly come to our home (same day) and restore our power; other companies put us on a wait list for the following day. The office people who took our call were very cordial, kind and understanding to our problem, and were able to connect us with an electrician who arrived in short order and restored power to our home. Very professional and caring company!! Thanks!!

I contacted Gunnar Electric to install our Tesla Wall Charger in our garage. Our installation was tricky as our electrical panel is in our finished basement on the opposite side of the house of the garage. Terry stopped out to review the project and felt confident they could fish the cable from the panel to the unfinished utility room under the garage, with the possibility of having to put in an access hole in the finished ceiling. During the installation they did have to cut a access hole in the ceiling but decided to add an additional can light at that location (at no charge) which was a great addition and they did excellent work! From start to finish the Gunnar Electric team were very responsive, kept us up to date regarding scheduling, and were very friendly and courteous. I highly recommend them!

We will use Gunnar Electric again. They were professional, accomodating and did a great job. They came out and gave us a bid on the project we wanted to do. The electrician was on time, easy to work with and cleaned up the area when he was finished. The price for the job was very reasonable.

We had an emergency issue with a fried meter socket. The whole team at Gunnar was very responsive and the pricing was very fair. I will definitely use Gunnar again the next time we need an electrician!

Our business needed to add some exterior lighting. Matt from Gunnar came out right away and gave me a prompt estimate. We got on their schedule and everything was installed properly. We had some questions in the beginning and everything was answered quickly along with photos and prices for different options. I would highly recommend Gunnar for your commercial electric needs.

We needed to replace the majority of the outlets in our home and wire and install new ceiling lights. We needed the jobs done ASAP. Gunnar Electric gave a bid within 3 days and scheduled the work within a week. Our house is 100 years old with plaster walls, so the work was tricky. The estimator and the technician were very knowledgeable and explained our different options thoroughly. We are happy with the work and will definitely use them again.
