So after reading all the low star reviews I can tell you this; if you go online and read what documents to bring before going there, the service itself will not get more than 15 minutes. I have been there several times and very satisfied with service. Make sure to bring all your documents and copies of each one.

Mr Oybek was so professional. He helped to everyone professionally even though there were a lot of people who came at the same time. Amazing location and good professional service. Thank you for your professionalism. Perfect communication and explanation about requirements to get the documents

I have read a lot of bad comments about our consulate. I won’t challenge anyone everyone has his own opinion on his matter. Myself love my country and my people even if they sometimes nasty. I can manage with my issues and get things done anyway. Today consul was very helpful and gave us most recent updates.

Great service, I didn't expected. Even you don't have an appointment, the consular representatives will also serve you kindly and quickly. This happened to me two weeks ago.

It wasn't always easy to collect all the required documents and fill them in correctly, but people at the Consulate always found time and patience to go through my papers and helped me with my questions. I thank you so much for being there for us!

Applied for a visa to Uzbekistan several times everything was in time and went smooth. People who work their are very professional. Once I even forgot to include the money order along with my paperwork and I was contacted and reminded right away.

I adore the people of Uzbekistan. Hospitality is in their blood. I have a question how can I renew my daughter's passport. She came to the USA with an immigrant visa when she was 15 years old. Her passport has expired she wants to visit her mom in Uzbekistan. Could someone give me some good advice on what to do now?

I have just called the Consulate and to my biggest surprise the phone was answered from the first ring, not to mention it was about 15 minutes before their lunch break. The lady was able to answer all my questions without hesitation, in a very professional and polite manner. Huge improvement from the previous years.

Very helpful council, he did not even have lunch until 3:00, because there were too many people who needed help. I didn’t expect they would do the service like that. They resolved my problem very easily, awesome.

My name is Nozigul And I had an appointment regarding new passport It was February 10, 2022. New consulate is big and bright with plenty of chairs.
The members of the consulate were very professional and efficient. While waiting for my appointment, I was able to observe the members taking amazing care of the clients. A special thank to Ulugbek who checked and accepted my documents, took my picture and fingerprints . Becides I spoke with him by phone and he explained me what kind of documents should I bring.
Appointment I did through online very easy , same an application.

From what I understood there are only two employees, so, if you'd like to talk to someone better call in the morning. From my experience there's a greater chance that the phone will be answered. The consulate itself is very helpful, just bear in my mind that there are only two of them. Ulug'beg and Qahramon were super patient answered all the questions, and were very polite as well. I was able to get the new passport through the Consulate.

going there tomorrow to get a travel documents, driving from IL to NY and i will post a review tomorrow to see if all the comments are true or false, wish me luck :))

So here is the update after the visit, yes it was crowded, yes it was small room, i did not know you have to make an appointment to get in, so i showed up just like that :) luckily somehow (dont ask me how) i got in, left the place within a 1.5 hour, cause had to run down to chase to make money orders and wasted little time, however after 3 weeks or so i got my temporary Passport on the mail. So over all not to bad, i would rate it 3 star due to small room and crowded place, no sitting area and most people come with kids and its kind of hard for them without a waiting room. dont bother calling, just show up, i drove from IL.

People are helpful, I liked the place. I recommend it to a lot of people. It makes life easier. Thank you so much for your help.😊

Phenomenally fast, very friendly and helpful personnel. All time spend, was less than 39 minutes. I was very surprised. Highly recommend.

I have to say it: I am Uzbek citizen and haven't visited to Uzbekistan for 12 years. When I needed documents to visit to Uzbekistan Consulate in New York helped me a lot. Fist of all after I send my documents for "Certificate for returning to the country" embassy called me. I never thought they will take a time to call and help me to finalize my documents. After that I received all my documents I needed to visit to Uzbekistan. I give 5 star for their customer service and friendly approach for the job. Secondly in recent 3 month I helped several families to get documents for their kids to visit to Uzbekistan from Uzbek Embassy in New York and they did responded and mailed all the documents needed for the families in time. One time they mailed in 3 days. I must say they are doing great job! Thank you all the stuff who is working in Uzbek Consulate in New York! You guys are doing great work ! I must say Qahramon's name he is the one who called me and helped me. Thank you!
