This Upper East Side place is one of my go-to spots for grubbing.
• I'm a big fan of the old-school vibe they've got going on in there.
• The staff is always courteous and can pretty much always find me a table, even during the busier hours.
• The food is fantastic and consistently on point.
• My move is to swing by right before the dinner rush so I can chow down in a relatively chill, quiet atmosphere without having to deal with too many people. It's the perfect little setup.

Always makes me feel casually elegant. The staff treats me like I am worthy (and I am!) of the finest experience. The controlled menu offers enough selection that you can find what you need that day.
Oh! And [floating island!]

From the moment we enter the restaurant, the service is outstanding. Hands down one of the best service I have ever experienced. The food is amazing as well. This is easily within the top 3 French restaurants among all the ones I’ve been to.

My favorite Bistro in NYC. Listen to the specials. I had the Pig’s Trotter with Black Truffles and it was worth the calories. Sit at the bar and ask the bartender why the clock is stuck at 6:20.

We spent New Year’s Eve at Orsay. The food, service, and atmosphere were top tier. Spending the night here is not cheap, but in my opinion very worth it if you’re looking for a high end experience.

I was here the other day with my mother for a late lunch early dinner. The ambience is amazing, as it will transport you out for NYC for a brief moment. The staff are sweet, attentive, and very knowledgeable.

We ordered 3 appetizers, 2 mains, 2 desserts and maybe a couple glasses of ;) the food was beyond delicious. From start to end, it was an amazing experience and I will frequent more with my mother and make new memories.

Classic french neighborhood bistro. Reliable food and service. Classic french onion soup with tons of cheese. Steamed artichoke, roast chicken, steak frites are our favorites. Never a bad meal, never bad service. Very accommodating of gluten allergy (onion soup without the bread!)

The food is very good and very tasty!
I’ve been there with French friends many times when we want to all feel back home. It’s super authentic and the desserts are remarkable!

I've always loved Orsay as a special-occasion restaurant and have been fortunate to go twice in 2023. It's one of the really true French restaurants left in Manhattan. I had the Cauliflower main course and enjoyed it. The breads and butter are also excellent.

As in France the waiters are courteous and professional.
The dishes are very tasty and served with full care.
Also,the outdoor terrace gives the restaurant a pleasant atmosphere.
For a meal in Orsay you get full value for money.

We had a wonderful experience at Orsay starting with outstanding friendly service. The staff opened the front door for my mother, and the servers paid prompt attention to us. My wife enjoyed the soup and beef bourguignon. My mother enjoyed the Orsay salad with Sole as main dish. I enjoyed the Orsay salad and beef bourguignon. We finished dinner with an exquisite plate of cheeses and red wine.

Continuing my birthday weekend festivities, we've walked by here many times and I always wanted to try it out. We also have seen a scene on the Netflix Marvel series, Jessica Jones show of this place too!
We came here for Sunday brunch. We got coffees and mimosas to start. I got the French onion soup, while my boyfriend got a delicious salad. I ended up getting croque madame (although I usually prefer monsieur) and my boyfriend ordered their special for the day, a very delicious tender falls apart pork shoulder. Unfortunately, I was so full from just my soup, I didn't finish my main dish, but that's okay, I took it with me so I can finish it later. And no room for dessert, although I've been craving macarons. I really loved the historical look!

We love Orsay! Such a beautiful little spot with a warm atmosphere and such gracious hosts. Olivier made us feel so welcome and we had the absolute best time last week. We ordered champagne and small bites. Absolutely fantastic! Thank you!

This place has the real feel of a proper French brasserie. No pretense, no nonsense. Ample and delicious food. Quick and attentive service. And a warm, lively ambience.

Lovely French restaurant with good food and European atmosphere. Service was a bit slow last Saturday, but it was very busy, so perhaps that was the issue. Eaten here before and service was good. Look

Absolutely loved this place! From the delicious French onion soup to the table-side chocolate mousse and everything in between, I can’t wait to go back and highly recommend to everyone! Location is great for UES locals and visitors alike. Drinks menu is large, and though the dinner menu is small, there are choices for everyone that are all delicious. Cheeseboard was a little underwhelming, so stick with the soup as a starter only. Go soon and go again! Reservation highly recommended!

Food is really great here. I recommend the escargot! Wine is great here too and the atmosphere has an old world feel! I recommend you check out the this place!

What an amazing event at my friend Peri’s birthday bash her at Orsay. The food fresh and the ambiance fans tactic . It was delightful and party mood brighten the room. The staff was warm and courteous. My tuna tartare was buttery and savory held together with creaminess.
