Brought my s/o's teenage daughter in for a cut on her very long, thick and curly hair. She wanted a specific style and I am so happy we trusted Amber with her cut. She was a giggling, bouncing and absolutely in love with her hair at the end. She is still boasting about it hours later.
Amber is very knowledgeable, kind and talented and will talk you through all of the ins and outs of your specific hair and its care. She even showed our girl how to style her new bangs if she ever decided to straighten them, and even just that little gesture was awesome to finally have in a stylist/salon. Amber is seriously the best! I’ve been going to her for my hair for almost 5 years now and I don’t think I could ever go anywhere else, i drive 2 hours to see her since I’ve moved out of town and it’s worth it! Gold Dust Salon is a completely unique and individualized experience. Amber Furbee owner and stylist takes time to understand your likes and dislikes with your hair and your hair goals. She is passionate, helpful, and realistic about achieving your dream hair. She is full of expert knowledge and advice and has skillfully saved my hair from my own DIY hair disasters. Not only has she made my hair dreams become reality time after time; she also has extended services into brow and lash tinting which I am fully obsessed with. The salon itself is incredibly charming and cozy, where you automatically feel welcomed. Gold Dust Salon is not only for women or long hair, Amber is also great with men’s/ short hair cuts. My boyfriend has become a loyal customer to Amber for her ability to always make his thick Italian hair look neat and managed without butchering it.

Hands down the best haircut that I have had in several years! She is very knowledgeable and talented. Takes her time to help you address any hair or styling needs and will even send you resources on her own time to help - such dedication! Not to mention that the aesthetic of the salon is gorgeous.
